"You'll sleep here tonight."
Mikel Anderson pointed at the freshly made bed.
Lyra Smith looked at the bed and then at Mikel Anderson, "Where will you sleep?"
Mikel raised his hand to point next door, "There. It's your first time staying at my place, so aside from getting used to it, you'll also feel like a stranger. If you need anything, just call me. I'm a light sleeper, so I can hear you."
Lyra nodded, "Okay."
She didn't get up right away, as her legs had gone a bit numb from sitting too long.
But she didn't show it and waved at Mikel, "You go to sleep first. Goodnight."
Mikel had never met someone as funny as Lyra before. She walked slowly over, squatted down in front of Lyra, and reached out her hand, "Have you been sitting so long to give Tata a sense of security?"
Realizing she was discovered, Lyra nodded, "Yeah, Tata usually stays at the Hilltop Villa, so she might be a little uneasy in this unfamiliar place."
