Lyra Smith felt blocked, waving her hand as a sign for Mira to step out.
The door was closed.
Lyra called Gregory Smith, her voice crumbling as she spoke, "Brother..."
"What is it? You sound distressed," Gregory Smith asked.
"I am being serious. It is way beyond the question of whether I can adapt here or not." Lyra spoke gravely.
She filled Gregory in about Dylan Lee.
When she finished, she asked, "Is it normal for cousins to be in love? In ancient times, it would have been seen as normal, but in modern times... Although I'm not really Grace Lee, Dylan Lee's intentions aren't very normal."
Gregory Smith: "I am coming over tonight."
When she heard that Gregory Smith was coming over, Lyra Smith's frustration lifted somewhat, but she reminded Gregory Smith on the phone, "By the way, don't mention this to Uncle Morris."
Gregory replied, his voice low, "I don't usually chat with Mr. Jackson."
That was for the best.
