"Morris Jackson walked leisurely over.
Seeing Lyra Smith's face beaming with a smile, the corners of his mouth lifted involuntarily: "Seems like you had fun shopping today."
"Shopping is of course the most fun thing." Her voice was more radiant than her smile.
Morris Jackson said, "I didn't receive any bank card transaction messages today."
He knew that she had been out shopping, and that she had bought many items. He had watched from the window as she got out of the car, and Tim assisted the servants in unloading numerous shopping bags from the trunk.
"I received the payment from my new movie." This was her explanation.
So she didn't spend his money.
Morris Jackson didn't say a word. He sat down on the sofa, patting the spot beside him.
Lyra Smith understood his gesture. She came over and sat next to him, close to him.
