"Your people?"
These three simple words were uttered by Morris Jackson, spreading an icy cold that made people tremble in fear.
"Mr. Lee." Tingey noticed the situation and immediately lowered his voice to remind Dylan Lee, "They're not here with good intentions."
Dylan Lee could see that, of course.
But even so, he would not give Grace to them.
Tingey observed the confrontation, unable to figure out their intentions. But his instincts told him that they were indeed important people.
He worried that the girl in Mr. Lee's arms might be unintentionally involved, so he took two steps forward and raised his arm to block them, "I apologize, sir. This lady is a valued guest of Mr. Lee. She's had an accident and needs urgent medical attention."
Morris Jackson had already noticed that Lyra Smith was injured.
