Lyra Smith lifted her head and saw that it was Erwin Jackson. She responded, "Just casually weaved a little insect."
"You know how to weave?" Erwin asked casually.
Lyra replied in a nonchalant tone, "Didn't you question it last time? Don't you remember how I answered then?"
"Sorry, my memory's not the best," Erwin said.
Erwin's memory wasn't bad at all, but Lyra wasn't surprised when he confessed to having a poor memory. Lyra understood that Erwin had no reason to remember what she said before.
So she didn't say anything more.
Standing where he was, Erwin was blocking the light, so she reminded him, "You're blocking the light, can you move a bit?"
Erwin moved half a step to the side, almost without making a sound.
Then he squatted down and reached out to take the half-finished grasshopper Lyra held in her hands. Lyra didn't notice Erwin's hand trembling but did notice that he was abruptly trying to take something from her.
