Lyra Smith rested her chin in her hand, "Why use curse words?"
"I'm not cursing at you. I'm just describing you accurately." Martin Jenkins straightened up and picked up the contract on the table, flipping through it.
Likewise, it wasn't signed.
Martin threw the contract back onto the table, "If you're not going to sign it, why did you bring it? What, do you want to negotiate more terms with me?"
Lyra threw another contract from her file onto the table: "The terms are right here."
Martin found Lyra's attitude quite irritating and uncomfortable.
She was always the one striking poses in front of others, and aside from higher-ups, everyone she met always respectfully addressed her as Director Martin. Unhappy with Lyra's manners, she reminded her directly, "Mind your behavior in front of me."
Lyra agreed, "Alright, I'll restrain myself."
