Cynthia Taylor was just about to knock on the door.
Seeing Hector's secretary going out with a pile of documents, face pale, Cynthia's heart clenched. The moment she stepped into the huge office, she could clearly feel the sudden chill.
She nervously walked over, placing the cell phone down besides Morris's right hand: "Mr. Morris, your phone."
Morris lifted his hand slightly.
Cynthia breathed a sigh of relief. She looked at Hector, who subtly motioned with his chin for her to leave.
Feeling uncomfortable in the conference room, Cynthia immediately turned around and left.
Hector saw Morris picking up his phone to glance at it, presumably to check for messages or missed calls. He noticed Morris creasing his eyebrows and putting the phone down, his face still thunderous.
