Jack Smith replied to him: "As soon as possible."
Anthony Young thought of Lyra Smith crying earlier with her tear-streaked face and felt a pang in his heart: "Do you know how heartbroken your sister was just now, crying so much that my heart almost shattered?"
Jack Smith: "So did I."
Anthony Young: "Yeah, well, why didn't you show up? I'm the one taking all the blame here."
Jack's deep voice came through the receiver: "My sister is the last and only child in our family who was born untainted, she must always grow up in a protected environment, and we will handle everything else."
Anthony understood what Jack meant, and didn't complain any further: "Alright, goodbye."
Jack Smith: "Thanks for your efforts."
Anthony Young: "It's not hard work, it's just bad luck."
Isn't it bad luck?
He was almost hated by Lyra Smith!
"Oh, by the way," Jack Smith added emphatically: "Don't even think about having designs on my sister."
