"Dangerous?"
Sophia Jackson tugged at her lips, implying something, "Speaking of danger, this time it's just some superficial injuries. Compared to almost losing my life in San Carlos, what's the big deal?"
She talked about these things in a casual manner.
With a smile that was not quite a smile, one could not tell if she cared or not.
However, as soon as Sophia said this, everyone quieted down and looked at her.
Sophia noticed, raised her eyes and chuckled softly, "Why are you all looking at me? Eat your food."
Molly Cooper nudged Alexander Jackson's arm with her elbow.
Alexander glanced at her but didn't say anything.
Frank Smith silently used the serving chopsticks to place dishes in Sophia's bowl. In the end, Sophia finished all the rice in her bowl, but the food Frank had put in was still there, untouched.
After dinner, Frank didn't stay long.
Molly was about to walk Frank to the door, but he said, "No need, Aunt Cooper."
"I'll walk him out."
