He was in a daze for nearly a month.
And he had a serious illness.
After being enlightened by Jane, he finally decided to ask General Quincy for a leave of absence and return to the country to see Sophia Jackson's current situation. As long as he saw her living well with his own eyes, he would be at ease.
It seemed that she and her fiancé got along well...
Frank Smith's eyes darkened.
-
Sophia Jackson opened the passenger door.
She got in the car.
Oliver Nelson asked her, "Your parents' house or Peony Palace?"
Sophia didn't make a sound, pondering if he had seen her standing next to Frank Smith earlier. He was not a meddlesome person and never asked about her private affairs, so Sophia couldn't guess whether he had seen her but pretended not to, so he wouldn't ask about it.
Oliver called her, "Sophia."
Sophia snapped back to reality, "Huh?"
Oliver: "Your parents' house or Peony Palace?"
He repeated the question he asked earlier.
He raised his hand to adjust the GPS.
