Sophia Jackson was lured by the aroma and came out of the room.
In the kitchen, Frank Smith's back view in front of the counter seemed very busy.
She didn't wear shoes on her feet, and she approached silently without making a sound. Frank didn't notice her presence as she stood quietly beside him, until he turned around with the cooked noodles in his hands—
He trembled his hand.
The bowl of cooked noodles almost fell from his grip.
Seeing Sophia, who had silently appeared beside him, Frank's face instantly darkened. He put the bowl back on the counter and spoke with a displeased tone, "Don't you know scaring people is not funny?"
Sophia looked innocent, "I didn't do anything. You scared yourself."
Frank closed his eyes, ignored her, turned to wash his hands, picked up the bowl of noodles again, and walked past her to leave the kitchen.
