Upon hearing the word 'good girl', Lyra Smith felt her heart flutter. Yet, the way he ruffled her hair made it seem like he was playing with a puppy.
She got out of the car.
Ivan closed the car door, pointed to the man standing by the side and said to her, "Miss Lyra, this is Tim, the housekeeper of Diva Manor."
Lyra looked towards Tim.
Tim, the housekeeper of Diva Manor, was a man in his fifties dressed in a black tailcoat. His temples were turning white from age, and his hair was slicked back neatly. From head to toe, he was impeccably groomed, every bit the part of a housekeeper.
"Miss Lyra, hello." Tim greeted her with a warm smile.
Lyra also returned the greeting.
"Miss Lyra, please follow me." Tim led Lyra further inside.
In the car.
Ivan asked, "Mr. Jackson, shall we get going?"
The car window slowly raised, and Morris Jackson adjusted his cufflinks, "Let's go."
Driver White began to drive away.
