Sophia Jackson didn't forget to mention the important part: "Besides those strange words, Lyra Smith cried too."
"Did you go to the apartment last night?" Morris Jackson asked.
Sophia Jackson replied, "Yes, Lyra called me in the middle of the night, and I accompanied her all night." As she spoke, Sophia's tone became more serious: "Uncle, I called to tell you about this matter because I think it's necessary. But if you think it's not necessary, just pretend I didn't make this call."
Although she liked the idea of Lyra and her uncle being together, and thought they were well matched.
But if her uncle did something to hurt Lyra, Sophia would undoubtedly stand by her side without hesitation. Men, no matter how excellent, wonderful and valuable they are, infidelity is an unforgivable sin.
"I understand," Morris Jackson replied on the other end of the phone.
Sophia Jackson couldn't guess what Morris Jackson meant, but at least the message was conveyed.
