Tim said, "From the lady's perspective, it's indeed a bit troublesome to go back and forth like this. If the lady and the gentleman lived together every day, there would be no need for me to send her."
"That's true." She agreed.
She could certainly read between the lines in Tim's words.
Tim was hoping that she and Morris Jackson would live together every day.
She asked, "Is Uncle Morris at the Di Jing Manor tonight?"
Tim shook his head, "No, he has a dinner party at the Blue Water Celebrity Retreat tonight."
Morris Jackson's dinner parties were always gatherings of big shots, but she hadn't heard him mention anything about it today... Wait, what was she thinking? She couldn't be too nosy about his affairs.
"Madam, I'll take my leave now." Tim nodded his head to say goodbye.
Lyra Smith put down the bag, took a step forward and was about to see Tim off, "Tim, let me walk you downstairs."
"Madam, please stay," Tim made a stopping gesture, "otherwise the food will get cold."
