With that said, he waved his hand and the attendant left first.
Iris Mitchell didn't leave, but sat down next to Lyra Smith.
The woman who came with Iris also sat down nearby.
Iris enthusiastically introduced her to the woman beside her: "This is Cynthia Taylor, my cousin. Her name is Lyra Smith."
After introducing Cynthia, she introduced Lyra: "Lyra, this is my good friend, Cynthia Taylor."
Introductions done, Cynthia reached out her hand to Lyra: "Hello, Lyra."
Upon hearing Cynthia's voice, Lyra furrowed her brow slightly. The voice seemed familiar, but she couldn't remember where she'd heard it before. After pondering for two seconds, she thought it must be a misperception, because she hadn't met Cynthia before.
A very unfamiliar face.
However, in such occasions, Lyra couldn't act indifferently, so she reached out her hand and clasped Cynthia's: "Hello."
As their hands clasped, Lyra clearly felt the other woman's grip tighten a bit.
