"Nice to meet you, princess!" Ramies gallantly offered her his hand, looking at her with transparent amber eyes sparkling with emerald sparks.
She looked and felt that she was falling into them, like into a pool, and her consciousness became clouded. Suddenly she felt an energy blow to her eyes and heard Lariel's voice in her head: "Wake up, don't look into his eyes, these are powerful spells..." and pulled back, blinking desperately.
Ramies and Palien noticed her resistance and looked at each other.
"The princess is tired from the flight, she needs to rest," said the Commander. "Ramies, take her to the guest cabin, let her lie down."
The officer took her by the arm and led her down the corridor.
"Selestra, I like your planet," his voice sounded so gentle and insinuating that the girl unexpectedly began to feel sympathy for her companion.
"On the way to you, we landed in ten colonies, flew over vast spaces, but yours is the most beautiful. It is very different from my native Xantari, which is too well-groomed by civilization and has almost no pristine wild beauty… This is your rest room!"
Ramies led her into a small room illuminated by a soft pinkish light and sat her in a reclining chair that hugged her body pleasantly.
"You are very tense, relax."
Selestra tried not to look at officer and waited for him to leave. She tried to hear something from Lariel and sent him a mental request, but to no avail: the telepathic connection did not work. She looked around helplessly: there was nothing except a bed and two armchairs.
"I regret that we are leaving soon," the officer's voice rustled velvety. "I will miss Avilena a lot."
"Do you know each other?" Selestra became interested.
"Yes, closely, it's a pity we can't take her with you, how lucky Lantas is," there was sadness in his voice. "She is unusual: beautiful, cheerful and relaxed. She wasn't afraid of us. She and I quickly became friends."
"And she only told me about Amirel..."
"We both went on dates with her, but he is her chosen one. And she promised me the next time I would conceive, when we come to you again."
Selestra looked at him incredulously.
"So what, will you wait fifteen years before conception, and then the same amount to see an adult son?"
"It turns out like this. Well, what can I do! There are too few princesses. Having a son is a dream. I can wait thirty years."
"I don't believe it. You visited ten planets along the way and weren't there princesses there?"
"Of course there were, but they are always busy. And those who are free do not choose me. Everyone likes our Commander. I'm surprised you weren't impressed with him."
"How do you know this?" Selestra was amazed.
"I know a lot about princesses. We asked Palien to introduce us to you, but he refused, saying - Zaria is in decline, girls live among people, are not adapted to syrinxes, they are afraid to look at you. He himself weaved such intrigues in order to get close to your Queen. Out of desperation, Amirel tried to kidnap Avilena. He is not a villain at all, he is in love with her and will suffer from separation."
"And you still hope that I will choose one of you?" Selestra was amazed. "Do you really need these kids so much?"
"Yes! And not only them. We know what you think of aristocrats - heartless ladies' men. In fact we are looking for love for long term, but I don't hope for a miracle."
"It's not nice when strangers know everything about me," Selestra shuddered.
"Your status is to be in everyone's sight. You can't escape our attention."
Ramies stood up, walked over to her and sat down next to her. Blue fire flared in his eyes.
"What's wrong with your eyes?" Selestra was alarmed. "They change color. I haven't seen anyone like this."
The princess looked in fear into Ramies' attractive eyes. He held out his palm to her.
'Take my gifts."
Selestra cautiously gave him her hand and suddenly found herself in the plasma dimension. A dazzling and boundless something shone in front of her, on which large blue eyes suddenly appeared, with multi-colored scattering sparks. The eyes looked at her carefully and warmly. There was a quiet soft rustling and light ringing of bells.
She extended her flaming palms towards him, catching the sparks, which were absorbed by her hands. A stream of joy and blissful peace emanated from this boundless being. The eyes slowly dimmed and her gaze revealed the sight of millions of faces of syrinxes smiling at her. Many transparent shining crystals separated from them, rushed towards Selestra and connected with her streams of fire. She suddenly felt a huge surge of energy expanding her to the sides. It was as if she had become bigger and stronger. Ramies separated from the abundance of faces in the form of scattering orange and emerald streams of plasma, forming rings and curls, and approached, taking her hands. His kiss snatched an explosion of fantastic feelings from her, covering them both with endless happiness.
Selestra came to her senses from the sound of someone gently stroking her. She found herself undressed in bed, not remembering anything about how she ended up in it. Behind her lay naked Ramies and languidly admired her.
"What happened?" She perked up, wrapping herself in a blanket, although it was already clear.
Annoyance and shame overwhelmed her.
"Love…" he drawled tenderly.
"But I was in the plasma world, I don't remember how I ended up here."
Ramies smiled mysteriously.
"After fiery love there was conception."
"I want to go home," Selestra suddenly declared and noticed how Ramies's face darkened.
"Stay a little longer, I beg you," his eyes looked expressively at her, and she, succumbing to the sympathy that floated out of nowhere, allowed him to hug her.
He caressed her for a long time with his thin long fingers, rustling his white wings, and gently whispered the words of love.
