Chapter 19 - Teachings of Seasoned Tamer

"Do you understand now, Mr. Haji?" Akash Tagar looked at Haji Tea and asked. "I told you that your plan would fail if you faced any strong opponent, while my Ponytail is only at the 1 Star realm, your beasts still got defeated and even got caught off guard by its atypical power."

Haji Tea didn't say anything, he was silently listening with his head lowered.

Akash continued. "Don't ever think of a plan by yourself, let your beasts make their battle plan from now on. They are the ones who know their power and skills best. So, instead of giving them wrong orders in a life-ending war, it's better to let them fight on their own and don't meddle with them.

You can just tell them the aim or mission, just like at the start, I told Ponytail its goal which was to disable your two beasts, Mist Spider and Thunder Sword Boar, but I didn't tell it how to do it. I just told him the end goal. Because it knows and understands its own skills more than anyone else. And you saw the results with yourself, Ponytail knocked out a 10-star beast by itself."

The reason Akash Tagar was so sure about that was because of his profound knowledge, he wrote many books on beasts and their training methods. After years of research in reading ancient books in House of Knowledge and observation, Akash concluded that beasts would perform their best if the tamers allow them to fight freely.

Haji Tea raised his head and finally retorted. "My Liege, your panda is very strong and is of an unknown bloodline. Not to mention its weapon, how could my beasts ever hope to defeat it?"

Akash sighed in exasperation. "My gosh! You still can't understand? Regardless of its bloodline, my God Demon Panda is only at the First Star realm and it's a newborn baby. It shouldn't be able to defeat your beasts."

Haji Tea raised his brows as he thought of something. "My Liege, could we spar again? This time, I won't give any orders."

"No, I don't want Ponytail to get hurt. It's just a baby now." A blunt rejection by Akash.

Haji Tea didn't get upset, he wanted to try Akash Tagar's advice to check his beasts' powers without giving them orders but he also knew that the little God Demon Panda was a wrong choice to try and fully grasp his beasts' prowess against.

Akash broke the silence again. "There is a place where you can try without getting your beasts injured."

Haji Tea asked rapidly. "Really!, My Liege, where is this place?"

"It's called the Ancestor Training Grounds." Akash replied with a smile.

"Oh, I think I heard that somewhere. Ancestor Train... My Liege, are you talking about that room on the right side?" Haji Tea asked with a confused face.

"Yes, ask the System about the Ancestor Training Grounds, you will understand everything."

Haji Tea asked the System as soon as he was told.

*beep*

A transparent screen materialized in front of Haji Tea and everything was explained to him about the Ancestor Training Grounds.

Haji Tea was lost in thought about the one who made this System, how powerful the creator of it could possibly be.

After a while, he opened his mouth and exclaimed. "Amazing, just amazing. I knew this headquarters was not something ordinary but I never thought it'd be powerful to this extent. From now on, my entire family including myself will risk our lives for your cause, My Liege."

"Mr. Haji, we will go into the Training Grounds tomorrow. You have to call someone from your family here to take care of your mayoral matters in your absence." Akash ordered

"Indeed, My Liege, I will call my grandfather and ask him to send my father."

"Very good, now let me explain to you the basics of spear techniques."

"Yes, My Liege, please!" Haji quickly said, happy and hopeful.

Akash Tagar taught Haji Tea the basics of spear-wielding and its techniques for a few hours after which Haji Tea headed home. While Akash Tagar stayed in the hall and started training with the sabre Haji Tea had given him.

"This sabre doesn't suit me and my practice, its quality is low as well. I need a good sword to win the upcoming competition to make Abran into a 2nd tier city." Akash went into the store while tapping the sabre on his shoulder.

As he entered, he saw many lower high-grade weapons. Spears, swords, sabers, glaives, clubs, hammers and axes. There were multiple types of weapons.

"System, could you show me the swords only?" Amash asked the system.

*beep*

With a single beep, all the other weapons on the screen disappeared and their empty slots were filled with new words.

Each sword had the same quality and price with different attributes. The lower high-grade swords were worth 1 million cosmic coins. "Ahh man, I think I need to start a business to earn money, it's not appropriate to ask Haji Tea every time."

Akash came back empty-handed and resumed his saber practice. Meanwhile, Haji Tea reached his house. Ever since he had migrated here, he was living alone as had left all his family members in the 1st tier city where his entire family was currently living. His brothers and wife wanted to come along but he refused them.

Haji Tea sat on a chair in his lounge room and was staring at his cell phone. Finally, he dialled a number and called it.

<1st tier city, MORO>

A large mansion, with several vehicles parked infront and many servants doing their own work. Inside the castle, in a library room. An old man wearing a monocle on his left eye was sitting on a wooden rocking chair, holding a book in one hand and flipping through its pages with the other.

*RING RING*

His mobile phone on a nearby table rang.

he looked at the calling number and picked it

"Hello, grandson!" The voice was thick and domineering. This was the voice of Haji Tea's grandfather and the current head of the Tea Family, the infamous "Spear and Moustache" Baghi Tea.

Haji Tea closed his eyes and replied in a trembling voice. "He… hello, grandpa, how are you?"

"I'm still alive, my lovely grandson but I don't know how much longer I'll last."

These words tore Haji Tea's heart apart. He closed his eyes tightly but still, he couldn't stop his tears. "Don... don't ever say that again, you are already at the peak of the 2nd Moon of the Star General realm, you will break through to the 3rd Moon soon."

"Haha! I'll try my best. Tell me about yourself, how are you doing in Abran?" Baghi Tea's eyes reddened as he asked that.

"I'm doing well grandpa, I have good news for you."

"Oh! Tell me then." Said the old mane in excitement.

"There is a person who registered himself as an Abran tamer and he will also join the 3rd tier tournament. His name is Akash Tagar."

Baghi Tea stood up in surprise. "What! Someone registered as Abran's tamer? Did I hear it correctly?"

"Yes, grandpa." Answered Haji Tea with voice full of and contentment.
