A ghost I was, making my plans come to place, piece by piece. I don't care about the people around me, all I care about is seeing myself on top. The basic nature of man is doing and following his instincts no matter how vile they might get. In my world all I see is family and what motivates me to be ambitious on the choice I've made is still my family, a good reason of it all is my family, and in the end is to still rule over my family.
I figured family is a kind of retardation built to way a man down, I ain't a fool to believe what the daft minded says all I know is I must end the equality with my family and be a God to them, my everyday prayer and dream is rule over them and if anyone shows any pigment of disagreement, the only way will be death.
* phone rings *
Charles walked over to the telephone with a sad impression about who will dare call his phone at a time like this.
* picking the call *
" Who is it?" he Said.
" Quite funny, my business partner not remembering to say hello or give a call ".
Charles kept quiet for a while before it came to him.
" Margaux " he said.
" Are you surprised?"
He thought a while, indeed he has not been a good business partner all this while, he was the one who proposed a deal now here he was thinking alone on how to bypass his brothers.
" Can we meet?" he asked her.
" What kind of business partnership has no time for a meeting, so where and when?"
" For old time sake, why don't we meet beside the river Thames " he replied.
Her tone changed from the sarcastic kind to a happy kind as she replied.
" 6pm it is, don't be late " she said finally as the call was ended.
* It would be a good strategy if I had Margaux on my side, besides she controls a large part of London when it comes to this kind of deals * Charles thought as he let out a broad smile.
The time clocked 6pm, Charles stood beside the river Thames his face buried in his phone he didn't notice someone standing right behind him.
He tried turning, that when he saw Collins staring at him in a puzzled manner.
" What now, I thought I gave you all your freedom back is it then my turn?" Charles asked.
Collins chuckled a little before answering
" Oh big brother, don't put in mind that am here to inconvenient you for a reason both of us are not aware of, am just here to have a nice talk is that not possible?" Collins said to Charles.
" To be fair to you I'll say there's a little time for me to spare " Charles said looking at his watch
" So spit it out " Charles added.
A smile appeared on Collins face, he looked directly at the river, took in air and breathed out heavily then looked at his watch and said.
" Right now I want you to say nothing, just listen "
With a surprised look Charles let out a laugh and replied
" I'm all ears ".
" Good, let's both have this moment before the person who you waiting for arrives. Am gonna say you are more of a mastermind than Winston, you came back to London after a long vacation on the east, if am going to ask I'll say what exactly are you back for? But that's not my field is it? Tell me my dear brother all the allies you are making within and outside London, what purpose do you have with them, or I should put it this way, every man has a reason to do things so what's yours?" Collins said.
" If I tell you it wouldn't be a plan would it? So my dear brother just stay out of trouble and most especially my business alright " Charles said and was about walking away when Collins said.
" All of this are part of your plan right even the meeting you have with Margaux ".
Charles stopped immediately turned facing Collins he asked
" How did you know that?"
" Isn't it obvious, at this moment I am Margaux and you are my business partner. Come on don't act like we both didn't set the right place to have a nice conversation " Collins said.
" What the hell are you talking about?"
" Margaux is in my custody and if you are desperate to what I understand you are desperate to save her because you both have a plan against all odds. Tell me your main reason being in London and she will be set free " Collins said with contempt.
* laughing historically *
" I can't believe my little brother is as smart as this, Collins to yourself you've done it but to me you'll regret it " Charles said to him.
" Is that a threat my brother? Don't be like that am on your side that's why I want to know our secretive play " Collins said.
" Let me guess, you are here to kidnap no! alright you are here to get answers, the truth is you'll not get any do go home and make peace with our dear sister " Charles said and walked off.
" I know you are hiding something, and I'll fish it out mark my words " Collins muttered to himself.
Charles walked alone and was lost in thoughts.
* How am I going to be cleansed from this hoodlums I call brothers, if I'm to execute my plans they must be out, just imagine how Collins infiltrated Margaux, I think it's time I enjoy my vacation * he started laughing audibly but controlled himself when he walked into the main street.
The police gathered in front of the station as they were all wondering the reason they were being called.
Voices echoed asking themselves questions about why the chief asked for them.
" Is it about the locksmith?" one of them asked.
The chief walked pass their middle and stood in front of them with his face motionless he began
" We have an issue at hand a big one, london as we once know is on the verge of loosing it's national security over to some extent of people believing that they rule over us and our dear city, funny enough it's about to end ".
" What is the play sir?" Nathan asked.
The chief of police smiled abundantly before replying.
" That's a nice question Nathan, it's simple we find the mastermind just like the plan before, but this time we have a clear view on what we've been pursuing for a long time. Folks the mastermind of the devastation in London is the locksmith ".
Nathan wood turned looking directly at agent Sofia as she smiled back at him.
* What the hell did she tell the chief, well to my understanding the locksmith is a case entirely and on the other hand the illusionist is a different case, but the illusionist is being controlled by Charles locksmith, Sofia is up to something I don't know what but I'll find out * Nathan was deep in thought when the chief called out his name startling him.
" Put yourself together detective Nathan wood, I am assigning you to agent Sofia for the time being until the whole family is round up, can you do that for me?" The chief said.
Nathan looked at her in an anger like manner.
" Yes sir " He replied.
As he followed her out the crowd.
They both walked side by side in silence until he broke it.
" Why did you lie to the chief?" he asked her.
" I don't see why you are bothered by the situation " She replied him.
" This is a serious conversation and I need a genuine answer " He said almost shouting.
" Let me be clear with you, I am a Superior to you and I want your full support in this, Nathan telling the chief that Charles locksmith is the leader of the illusionist will complicate things a lot more, but making it about the locksmith is giving him the mind to work towards his dream, which is ending crime in London " She said.
" I still don't understand " He said.
" You don't need to, I just want you to follow up " She said and left him alone as he muttered.
" This better end good ".
* Phone rings *
" Who's this?" Charles asked as soon as he picked the call up.
" Collins ".
