"Poison dart frogs change into bright colors to ward off predators," the lady on the animal planet channel said.
Two boys come out of their spaceship at two different locations. One landed in the middle of a cornfield, and the little boy that came out was dressed in a bright yellow sweatsuit. The second location landed in the middle of the woods, nowhere in particular, and the little boy that came out of that ship was dressed in all black from head to toe.
Twenty-four years later
Christopher was walking down the hallway of the school he worked at, on his way to his classroom, when he bumped into Tyler. Coffee from Tyler's mug splashed on both, burning Christopher's stomach as it soaked through his buttoned-down shirt and burned Tyler's hand.
"Shii--," Tyler started to say but caught himself as kids entered the building and flooded the halls around both.
"I'm sorry, I didn't see you," Christopher said as he was trying to organize his papers in his hand. Tyler looked at Christopher with a not-so-happy frown on his face before walking away. Christopher shook his head as he looked at Tyler walking away. The dude was always wearing bright colors, and Christopher thought to himself.
Seven Hours Later
Tyler walked through his front door and dropped his keys on the table that was beside his door. He hung his jacket up and walked into his office. He turned on his monitor right as his father started to call.
"Hey, Dad," Tyler greeted his father on the screen as he poured himself a glass of bourbon.
"You haven't reported anything on the subject you were sent to Earth to study," Tyler's father said.
"There's not much to report. The subject goes to work, then home, back to work," Tyler says back.
"You know why you were sent there, right? It's been twenty-four years since we sent you to Earth. Eventually, you are going to have to kill her," his father said. Tyler stopped drinking his glass of Bourbon midway.
"What do you mean by her?" Tyler asked, confused.
"The subject you are supposed to spy on and take out is a woman," His dad said.
"No... there must have been a mix-up because the person I have been spying on for the last twenty-four years has been a man." Tyler told his father.
"We have been deceived. You need to take out the target asap now," his father told Tyler. Tyler's father hung up without saying goodbye. Tyler went into the bathroom and turned the shower on when he heard someone knocking on his door.
Twenty-four years earlier
An eight-year-old Christopher walks up to the new school he starts to go to today. As he walks up the stairs, he watches another boy his age in a bright green outfit, walking up the same stairs They both stopped to look at each other, knowing what the other is. They both ignore each other as they walk up the stairs and walk to the office to get escorted to their classrooms.
Present Time
Tyler opens the door and looks at Christopher holding a gun up to him.
"Who are you?" Christopher asks.
"My name is David, and I have been sent here on a mission," David said.
"A mission to kill me?" Christopher asks
"Yes," David says. He then attacks Christopher for his gun.
"I have been studying you for years!" David yelled as they wrestled for the gun. Christopher punched David in the face, and David elbowed Christopher in the face.
"Likewise," Christopher said.
"You have always been a nerd," David said as he struggled with Christopher.
"You have always been a bully, and I'm not a nerd," Christopher said as he got a hold of the gun again. David kicked Christopher's feet, making him fall. They fought and wrestled with one another until one finally got a hold of the gun, and a big BANG echoed through the night.
