The morning is here, the sunrays hit the dark alley where Dina and Dino are sleeping, then lit up the alley, waking up the siblings. The twins stood up from the carton bed, ate the canned foods they bought at the nearest store with their little money, and quickly prepared their equipment because they were going hunting.
"Quickly Dino! were going to be late for the incoming hunt!" Dina exclaimed at Dino as the two of them sprint toward the hunting area.
"I'm coming!" Dino replied back as he follow Dina's speed.
After a while, the twins have finally reach the hunting area. The hunting area was place in SM makati, the famous shopping mall in makati. Near the mall, there's a train station called, MRT Ayala station, and that's where the other hunters are coming from. Dina and Dino then entered the shopping mall along with the other hunters.
They then joined the line on where the hunters are going to give their hunting ticket. After Dino and Dina gave their tickets, they then went to the center of the mall, where the manager is briefing the hunters about the hunt they are about to do. Dina and Dino joined the people who are waiting for the brief to start, some of the people looked at them, wondering why there's kids on the hunt where the enemy was predicted to be a high tier monster.
The manager then walked in the room, with a microphone on his hands, he then stand on the front of the hunters, and said, "Good morning kind hunters. I am Jed Bonez, I'm the manager of the SM Makati, and i'm here to give the details about the hunting."
The manager then grabbed the paper on his pocket and read what's in the paper, "The assumed high tier monster, who is suddenly appear around this shopping mall, was in fact a high tier monster, and it's a Tikbalang, but not only a normal Tikbalang, It's the infamous Tikbalang, Petra! the most powerful Tikbalang ever. Petra is hiding around the shopping mall and no one knew where is she right now."
While the manager was still doing the briefing, Dino tap Dina's shoulder, she then look at Dino and asked why he is tapping her, Dino got a question for Dina, "What is a Tikbalang? i only heard about it, but i never seen one." he asked to Dina.
"It's a horse." Dina replied.
"A horse? how a horse become a high tier monster?" Dino said back to Dina.
"Because the horse was actually a half human half horse. It is a tall, bony humanoid creature with the head and hooves of a horse and disproportionately long limbs, to the point that its knees reach above its head when it squats down, and the fact that it can cast magic, and a intelligence monster makes it a high tier monster." Dina responded.
"I got another question for you Dina. How did you know about all this? Did you see one, if yes, then that's weird, were always together but i never seen one." Dino questioned Dina.
"It's because i fought dozens of them." Dina whispered to herself.
"What?" Dino asked after Dina whispered.
"I read a book about high tier monsters, and i saw the Tikbalang was one of them." Dina replied.
"What book? we got no book.." Dino inquired.
"That's a secret.." Dina responded hiding the fact that she was just lying on him.
"Now stop asking questions, i need to focus on this briefing.." Dina requested to her brother.
"Alright.."
"That's being said, because of how powerful this Tikbalang is, the prize for it's head is a solid One million pesos!!" The manager exclaimed.
The crowd roared after hearing the prize money, it was rare for a hunt to have a prize money that big. Dina on the other hand is currently remembering the memories back then, she is focusing hard to remember what did happen on this day, and when she finally remembered it, she turned her back and stopped Dino, who is currently raising his hand.
"Dino! don't used magic." She whispered at Dino's ears.
Dino nodded and lower his hand, he then asked, "How did you know i was about to used magic.."
"Because your the type of person who will do that immediately after hearing the prize money." Dina replied.
Dina then turned back to the manager and mumbles to herself, "That's not true i just remembered that he quickly destroyed the mall after hearing the prize money. After he did that, the owner didn't give the money to Dino because."
"But! the owner want it to be clean, the owner don't want damage on this shopping mall. So we put a rule, if you destroy a part of the mall, we will reduce the prize money you will get!" The manager exclaimed.
Dina then looked back at Dino and asked, "You hear that?"
Dino nodded, "I promised i will not damage any things here!" Dino said to Dina.
"Good." Dina replied back.
"So! Is everyone is ready?!" The manager shouted at the crowd.
"YEAH!!" The crowd shouted back to the manager.
"Then in, 3! 2! 1! THE HUNT BEGIN!!" The manager yelled starting the hunt.
The people ran in every direction, searching for the Tikbalang who's hiding there. Dina grab Dino's hands and cast white flames beneath her feets, allowing her to fly, "Wow, where did you learn this Dina?" Dino asked to Dina after she used magic to make herself fly.
"Oh crap! i forgot i time traveled back in where we still don't attend the academy.." Dina muttered to herself.
"I just recently learned it." Dina replied to Dino.
"Really? can you teach me how to fly, we both got fire magic element, so i can do this too right?" Dino said to Dina.
"Yeah, you can, just cast weak flames beneath your feets and then balanced yourself while at it, and when you finally balance yourself, increase the power output of the flames beneath your feets." Dina explained to Dino.
Dino failed on his first attempt but succeed on the second one. "I did it!" Dino exclaimed. "Good job, you just did that in your second attempt, you really are my brother." Dina said to Dino.
"Alright Dino, follow me, i got an idea on where the Tikbalang is hiding!" Dina said.
"Alright!"
