Chapter 31 - Ding

Half an hour later after their argument, everyone sat in silence in that small hole on the base of the extremely large tree, lost in their own thoughts.

Dan was leaning on the wall with his face scrunched up in pain and clutching his abdomen. The hunger had gone beyond the limit and Dan was nearing his limit of pain too.

Dan stood up and walked to the entrance of the hole again, the heels of his sneakers striking the wooden floor forcefully. His clothes were ripped and his black hair was dishevelled. He looked like a guy who had become a fresh homeless. 

 Dan stood at the entrance and watched the ship which was still releasing small amounts of smoke. The intact hull lay around 20 metres away towards their direction from the ship, an advantage for them. But only if they had the guts to leave this hole and walk towards it.
