The field fell silent after I gave my reply, with Angela staring at me softly like I was a child with a simple dream.
"What's your name?" Angela asked with a sigh.
"You can call me Leo" I replied simply.
"I like you Leo... You are so calm and simple, even in the face of danger... I really admire that." She said and paused.
"You can say that again" I replied with a naughty grin.
She stared at me for a while before sighing again and saying "Life isn't all about what you see... There are deeper mysteries behind everything... Do you believe in God's?" She asked.
"Yes, I do" I was starting to like where this conversation was going, but she was sounding like my mom.
"Leo... Would you believe it if I tell you that this isn't a simple game... This is another world... And the pod's are like gateways supporting earth and this world" she said and paused.
"Okay..." I replied. What she said wasn't surprising, I already had a theory on that, so she just confirmed it.
"There are over a billion God's, if not more... And once upon a time, a majority of them decided that earth was boring and suggested to make it fun by creating something like this, but some God's weren't happy about it... which resulted in a war.
The war lasted for over a thousand years... And when the war was finally over, the God's who decided on creating something like this were on the winning side, so the opposing God's had their power's sealed, and they were made to become spectators for the game by picking an individual to represent them, and giving them ten percent of their abilities. And that was how our class came to be, with the rarity of a class depending on how powerful the God once was..."
And before she could spill more of the bean, the scenery around us suddenly flipped.
The green grass and flowers instantly withered, the energizing the breeze became stuffy and nauseating... thereby making it hard to breathe, the once clear blue skies now turned cloudy and dark, with large bolts of lightening streaking violently all around us, leaving large crater's in their wake.
My heart skipped when I saw the sudden changes happening. I was about to ask the dream guy what was wrong but when I turned to where he was once standing, I only saw a bloody mess in a crater. I almost puked my heart's out, I was scared shitless.
I've never been this scared before... Never.
That was when a voice spoke, seemingly coming from all directions.
"ANGELA DICAPRIO... YOU HAVE BROKEN THE RULE OF SECRECY... YOUR PUNISHMENT SHALL BE SERVED BY ALL EARTHLINGS AND ETHERLINGS ALIKE... THE PUNISHMENT IS AS FOLLOWED... INCREASE IN DIFFICULTY OF THIS GAME... INCREASE IN DIFFICULTY TO LEVEL UP... INCREASE IN DIFFICULTY TO GET EQUIPMENT'S AND ABILITIES... APPEARANCE OF DUNGEON TOWERS... MUTATION OF ALL BEASTS... AND THE RISE OF THE UNDEAD."
My ears were already bleeding from hearing the voice of a God, and I was shivering on floor from the intense pressure the voice came with. As I heard the punishment being listed by the God, I kept on screaming in my heard, they were really using us for entertainment.
I looked over to where Angela was and saw that she had already passed out, then I tried looking around for Anya and Rose but couldn't find them. Then I looked above me and saw a massive accumulated lightening, descending to wipe out the dream world.
Never!! I wouldn't die like this.
I quickly summoned the 'Book of Divine', and on opening it, I felt 50% of my life-force disintegrate into the book. And without delaying any further, the word's which were on my mind were quickly inscribed in the 'Book of Divine'.
'The only way to counter a God, is with a God'. I quickly unsummoned the book and looked up at the massive raging lighting which was now up close, then I passed out.

I opened my eyes slowly while expecting to feel so much pain, but to my surprise I felt... Normal. I sat up slowly while surveying where I was, and the first thing I noticed was a bonfire, flickering not too far and not too close from me, just at the perfect position to keep me warm and cozy.
I was about to call out for whoever was responsible for the bonfire but at that moment, an appetizing aroma wafted pass my nose, and my saliva gland began working on overdrive.
I looked towards the direction the aroma was wafting from, and there I saw a large buffet of a fat roasted animal, which was decorated with assorted fruits and herbs. And without waiting for my mind to process what I was seeing, I quickly crawled up to the buffet and pulled out a hind leg from the roasted animal, which on close inspection... looks like an oversized boar.
I began tearing at the roasted hind leg with my teeth and swallowing without even chewing, it was so spicy and juicy that I nearly swallowed my tongue multiple times. I didn't spare the fruit and herbs either and ate them like there was no tomorrow.
"You should take it easy on the poor animal... And we've gotta go soon, there's a storm coming" I heard a heavenly voice from behind.
That was when I stopped stuffing my mouth and turned around slowly to see a figure in a white hooded cloak, which was exuding a powerful white aura visible the eye, and a hood covering the top half of the figures face, with a vertical eye embroidered with red, on the part of the hood where the person's line of sight were supposed to be.
Only the figure lips were visible, and on looking at the gracious lips, I felt relaxed and happy, like everything I've ever wanted in life were just an arm reach away from me.
That was when I remembered the spell I saw Anya used on the two men who tailed her out the bar. I quickly summoned my scythe and cleaved it at the figure before me, but the figure didn't even move an inch but just smiled, and just on seeing the smile, I instantly lost my will to fight and unsummoned my scythe, before kowtowing to the figure against my wish.
