Arthur awoke with a burning sensation on his face and a pure, natural breeze caressing his hair, accompanied by the melodious singing of birds, a song he hadn't heard in a long time.
When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a sea of green; tall trees rose gloriously in a vibrant forest. On their branches, full of green leaves and flowers that mixed yellow, white, and red, birds landed and chirped in their routine search for food and partners.
Arthur took a deep breath before exhaling, feeling the clean, fresh air. He was in the outside world... finally.
"Ah..." Arthur stood up and tried to analyze the system warnings that appeared in front of him, but his mind was still a bit fuzzy and the moment he tried to analyze everything more carefully, he felt a hellish headache and was forced to kneel down.
"Ugh..." Gritting his teeth and letting out a painful grunt, Arthur grabbed his head as he tried to fight the pain, a move that brought a simple looking ring into his vision. Next to it was a second ring, one that Arthur hadn't seen before, with a more refined appearance.
'You have already caused me too much trouble...' Arthur grabbed the ring and pulled it off his finger before bending his arm, but stopped at the last second. He didn't know how rare this accessory was, but he assumed it was extremely expensive. Maybe he could sell it on the black market and make some money.
Using what little mental strength he had left, Arthur tried to store the space ring in the new one he had just received from the system. He wasn't sure if this was possible and was pleasantly surprised when the ring disappeared from his hands.
Fighting the headache that still plagued him, Arthur got up and started walking, looking for a more hidden place to try and get some rest.
However, after a few steps his body collapsed to the ground and his mind was once again claimed by the darkness.

"Mr. Lugh, can you get me free from the patrol early today?" A young man, no older than 17, spoke as he walked through the dense woods surrounding the village of Dunul; he was level 12, wearing brown leather armor and a short sword at his waist.
"Are you going to see that girl again? Be careful, Alex. I heard her father was quite a bitter man." Lugh replied, he was a tall man, about 40 years old, with black hair and a short beard. He wore slightly better armor than the young man, combining some parts of leather armor and plate armor, his level was close to 50.
"Don't worry," the young man smiled broadly, "I will be able to conquer this old man!" He shouted with a confident voice.
"hahahaha" Hearing Alex's words, Lugh laughed and put his hand on the boy's shoulder "Don't disappoint me."
"I won't hehehe." Alex spoke with a still smiling face, but his steps stopped when he noticed something.
"There's someone over there!" Alex pointed.
"Hm?" Lugh turned to see the body of a handsome young man with long black hair and an imposing naked body.
"Wait a minute!" Lugh shouted to Alex, who had already started running towards the fallen young man.
"We don't even know if this is dangerous, it could be a goblin trap!" He continued, but it was too late, and Alex was already kneeling beside the young man.
Sighing in defeat, Lugh followed right behind Alex.
"Do you think he could be one of the members of the expedition to find Lord Greg? These survivors said that five people were left behind..." Alex asked as he studied the appearance of the fallen young man.
"The entrance to the cave collapsed last night... there's no way anything can get in or out," Lugh shook his head.
"Unless he got out before it collapsed and somehow survived the freezing night naked." Lugh concluded, clearly uncomfortable with the young man's naked state.
"I see. He looks alive... what should we do?" Alex asked, it was the first time he had encountered such a situation.
"Let's take him to the Village Master Rolan, he'll know what to do." Lugh said before taking a piece of cloth from a small pouch he kept around his waist and using it to cover the young man's nakedness.
Without wasting another second, they left the place.
Sorry for the short length of this chapter, I was playing Baldur's Gate 3 non-stop and lost track of time... Because of that, I messed up my writing and missed the deadline for an exam at college hahaha (laughing nervously, I'm going to fail this class because of this damn game!)
