Yet, in this mesmerizing display, a radiant luminance bursts forth from the center of the circle, radiating outward to imbue the entire dimension with a resplendent glow. This phenomenon, like a cosmic dance, serves to illustrate and elucidate the profound truths that must be conveyed to Himiko.
Chapter 3 - The Illumination of Magical Mysteries

• Nebular Essence - "Similar to what has been mentioned, NexusGifts are the most powerful abilities of beings in this world. However, accompanying them is the Nebular Essence, as without it, the NexusGifts and this world would not be complete. The Nebular Essence is the energy that surrounds Aetheira, responsible for the functionality of NexusGifts and all magical activities. The Nebular Essence can be found in every part of Aetheira, and each individual possesses their own Nebular Essences. It also serves as our stamina, as all beings draw upon the Nebular Essence to manifest techniques. Therefore, it is the most crucial resource for all of us as Arcanes," Kasumi explained. After Kasumi's statement, she let out a slight giggle.
• Magilences - "As I mentioned earlier, we have three categories of NexusGifts. They can be referred to as Magilences, as they define the types of magic present. This classification is based on the strength of the NexusGifts, starting with Elesprit NexusGifts. These are magical abilities that allow an individual to manipulate the elements in this world. This category is the most common, as nearly everyone possesses it. Examples include fire, water, air, ice, earth, and many others. The next category is Cressentia. These are NexusGifts created by individuals. I have two reasons in mind for the occurrence of such abilities. First, they defied their Spiritual Artistry, allowing them to craft their own NexusGifts. Second, their Spiritual Artistry aligns with the creation of their unique abilities. Since they can create their own NexusGifts, these are highly individualized and I lack specific examples for this category. Lastly, there's Mysthought. These NexusGifts allow beings to possess a concept within this world. This category holds the most potent and rare abilities. With Mysthought, one can utilize a concept as desired. Let's take the example of the concept of images. An individual can use this ability on themselves or others. They have the power to create and summon images according to their intentions, utilizing them in any way they see fit..."
• Spiritual Artistry - "And with the presence of Nebular Essence, we cannot overlook the aspect that aids our beings. Spiritual Artistry serves as our guide in further understanding our own selves. It is the magic that can be utilized both as a combat tool and a means of self-discovery. Spiritual Artistry plays a pivotal role in determining our NexusGift. It is based on our individual nature. All that we manifest originates from Spiritual Artistry, as it shapes our very existence as individuals and serves as a tool for magic in this world. So, never forget what your power will be, for it is defined by your own essence..." Kasumi reiterated.
• Ultimate Arts - "We have three ways to manifest the use of our NexusGifts. It can be used for offense or defense, depending on your intentions. The first one we'll explain is Ultimate Arts. These are abilities granted to an individual to perform actions that enhance the capabilities of the being utilizing NexusGifts. It can serve as an enhancement or an attack, depending on your desired outcome. It's connected to our Spiritual Artistry, so all our abilities truly depend on our Spiritual Artistry. If you're confused, I can give an example of an Ultimate Art... Let's say we have a known individual with the NexusGift of Elesprit, aligned with the element of Fire. They can use this fire to summon it within the air. Now, their Ultimate Art could enable them to become Fire itself and move in tandem with the Air, essentially becoming one with their NexusGift.
