As the school was on holiday for three months after it was a competition being held which consists of newly awakened beast master who compete for the best prize by fighting between their beast.
These three months were to bond and train your beast. This was obviously for people who want to become Beast tamers on other hand it was to test their capability in each profession that are namely
1) Beast tamer
2) Beast breeder
3) Alchemist
From this the Beament (Beast Government) will determine their qualification and the respective halls will teach them and register them as their hall members and give them certificate to start their journey in that route.
