"Gina!Gina, what's taking you so long?"A female voice half-yelled outside the room. A woman with blonde hair and brown eyes emerged through the door .
"Mama, how do I look "Gina asked nervously as she twirled around to give her mother a better view of the dress she wore.
Georgina was a tall and slender young girl. She had dark brown hair and emerald green eyes.she had acquired her father's features.
"Beautiful, my dear,"Her mother praised which earned her a nervous smile from Gina."Come let's go, you don't want to keep your guest waiting ."Helen said as she held her daughter's hand taking her out of the room.
Gina took a deep breath.
She was anxious. Anxious to see the unknown man who had come to....to arrange a date to get married to her. A marriage she would never come to accept.A marriage that would cost her dreams.
As they walked out of the room, Gina saw her father talking to a man whose back faced her. And from his expensive clothes, she could tell he was a duke. Yes, one of the many dukes of Peritian Kingdom.
When Gina and her mother got to where the men were seated, her father turned in time to to face them and before introducing her to the stranger.
"Master Walter meet my daughter, Georgina."
The stranger with brown hair turned to look at her and then....
she saw his eyes flicker red before going back to it's original colour which was brown.she shook her head internally, trying hard not to believe that he was a-a vampire. Was she H-hallucinating.
Hell Noo. She wasn't.
Gina knew her family was poor. So poor that they could barely keep up with the expenses of the family household. She was also aware that her family needed the money which would be paid by her soon to be husband .But then her parents had always warned her to stir clear from the night creatures. So why this....
"Nice to meet you, milady."Master Walter voice interrupted her train of thoughts, bringing her back to reality as he stretched his right hand forward for a hand shake.
"It's my pleasure, milord."Gina offered him a half-hearted smile, before accepting his hand warily. She had never been this close to a vampire before, maybe she had but definitely not with her knowledge.
After the introductions were over, her father and Master Walter excused themselves outside to continue their conversation about her marriage preparations.
The calm expression that Gina had plastered on her face fell once the men left. Her face slowly turned pale with the realization that she was getting married in six days. To....to a vampire.
Gina could feel the blood rushing through her veins in panic."
"Gina, dear are you alright....."Helen words were cut short by Gina's panic filled voice
"Tell me!Mama,am i getting married to a vampire?."
