...
Ethan nodded silently and slowly raised his right hand, pointing his fingertips toward the direction of the magma.
Seeing Ethan make this gesture, Hancock's eyes lit up with surprise and delight.
"It's Admiral Kizaru's skills," he exclaimed.
As if on cue, a point of light silently materialized, confirming his words. Without delay, the speck of light rapidly expanded, forming a radiant golden circle that bathed them in a pale golden hue.
...
A powerful beam of light pierced through the void and headed toward the magma pool in a series of flashes.
Boom!
A deafening explosion echoed throughout the island, leaving the Amazon lily soldiers on the outskirts bewildered, not knowing what had just happened.
"What's going on? Isn't that guy supposed to be dead, because you can still hear explosions?" Guarana frowned, his face full of confusion.
Sandersonia shook his head, denying the possibility: "Master Ethan is too strong to fail to eliminate him."
"Let's not think about it too much; everything will be fine," Marigold assured the soldiers, raising her voice.
"Everyone, stay away from there and refrain from interfering with my sister, our lord."
The Amazon lily girls complied with the order and quickly responded, "Yes, Master Marigold!"
Deep within the island, Hancock had a surprised expression as he gazed at the impact site left by the beam of light.
"He is incredibly powerful, even more than he expected!"
"As expected from the Devil Fruit that the Admiral possesses; his attack power is truly extraordinary."
The original magma pool had disappeared, replaced by an immense crater surrounded by scorched black earth, creating a scene reminiscent of purgatory.
Ethan, who rarely showed concern, frowned, his face determined and thoughtful.
Noticing his beloved's unusual behavior, Hancock brushed his beautiful black hair, smiled, and asked, "Ethan, what's on your mind?"
"This fruit, while it can replicate the abilities of others, appears to have limitations," he replied.
Ethan calmly placed his hands in his pants pockets and explained, "It can replicate up to 90% of the attack power of the original user's ability; this is the upper limit."
"Also, to copy someone's ability, I must have witnessed that person using his Devil Fruit power on him."
"While I was contemplating it just now, I thought about using the Reberu Reberu no mi to mitigate the limitations of the Kopi Kopi no mi."
Determination filled Ethan's eyes as he resolutely spoke, "By doing this, this Devil Fruit could become the most powerful force in the world."
"I would be able to replicate anyone's ability and exercise it without problems."
"This way, our chances of dethroning the Heavenly Dragons from their pedestal would be greatly improved."
Hearing Ethan' determined words, Hancock's heart was filled with joy. His beautiful eyes shone and he couldn't help but smile softly.
"Yes, Ethan, you will certainly make it. I believe that nothing in this world can stand in your way."
"You are exceptional, your talent is extraordinary and there is no reason for you to fail."
Ethan looked at Hancock and replied casually, "Let's put that aside for now. What are your plans for the future?"
At Hancock's silence, Ethan did not rush but kept his hands in his pockets, silently waiting for his response.
"Ethan, I'm sorry; I was wrong."
After what seemed like a long pause, Hancock finally looked up with a guilty expression on his face.
"In the past, my arrogance came from my high status and I didn't take anyone seriously. I was unbearably arrogant."
"As you pointed out, I've spent too much time in the Calm Belt, free from danger, living in ignorance."
"I was wrong, I was wrong, and I admit it."
With his head held slightly higher, he confessed with great embarrassment, "Ethan, don't worry. I won't make the same mistake in the future."
"I will work diligently to strengthen myself and get rid of my previous arrogance."
Hancock's sincere apology began to change Ethan' opinion of her.
Initially, Ethan had a favorable impression of Hancock for blowing off steam at sea and striving to become stronger.
He now saw her more and more as a genuinely good person.
"Very good," Ethan smiled and said, "To be honest, your potential is huge and your skills are top-notch."
"In the past, you wasted time, causing you to stagnate and not reach your full potential."
"But that's all in the past. Your words today show that you possess the heart of a true warrior."
With admiration in his eyes, Ethan encouraged her: "In a few years, your name will surely be among the top experts."
This was the first time since Ethan came into this world that he encouraged someone with such fervor.
It was rather strange, indicating how relieved Ethan was at the transformation Hancock had undergone.
"No, I'm not as strong as you say I am."
Seeing the admiration in Ethan's eyes, Hancock blushed, covering her cheeks with her hands and murmuring.
"You are incredibly strong and I can't afford to be weak, otherwise I would be a burden at your side."
Hancock looked Ethan in the eyes determinedly and said, "Ethan, don't worry. I'll speed up my training and catch up to you."
Ethan nodded and smiled, "Next, you will enter the New World, a land filled with formidable enemies and numerous dangers."
"If you find yourself in danger, don't hesitate to reach out. Remember to ask for my help."
Hancock hummed in agreement and nodded emphatically. She smiled and said, "You are my biggest supporter."
"In the future, whenever I face an insurmountable challenge, I will contact you. Hehe~~"
Ethan wasted no time and said directly: "Very well, continue your journey. I say goodbye."
With that, she activated her ability and disappeared.
Before disappearing, Hancock hurriedly asked, "Ethan, can I contact you often in the future?"
"Of course," Ethan replied.
When his voice faded, he disappeared completely.
Hearing Ethan's response, Hancock put her hands together and his beautiful eyes shone with happiness.
"Ethan, from now on, I will call you every day. Hehehe~~"
Muttering to herself, she gracefully headed towards the outskirts of the island...
.......
East Blue, Marine Division 16.
Knock, knock...
"Colonel, I have urgent news to report!"
Outside the wooden door, a young man in his twenties lightly knocked on the door, his voice carrying a tone of respect.
"Enter."
Inside the room, a harsh, unpleasant sound followed the creak of the door as it slowly swung open.
In the office, a middle-aged man was leaning back in his chair, feet on the desk, sipping coffee. He was Colonel Nezumi, in charge of the 16th Division of the East Blue Marine.
"Colonel, I just received an urgent call regarding a group of powerful pirates entering our East Blue territory."
The young man stood quietly, his tone respectful. "According to the information below, Krieg, the leader of the largest pirate group in East Blue, has been defeated by another party. The entire pirate crew has been scattered, fleeing, and some are even dead."
"What...?"
Colonel Nezumi couldn't stay seated any longer. He pushed his feet off the desk and stood up, his expression showing extreme shock. "What did you just say? The Krieg Pirates have been wiped out? How is that possible? He had thousands of men and dozens of large ships under his command. Who could have taken him down?"
"Did the lower ranks report this inaccurately? Verify this immediately!"
The young man lowered his head, not daring to hesitate, and quickly explained, "Colonel, the situation has been thoroughly investigated, and it is indeed true. At Bharati, the seaside restaurant, the two groups clashed. The Krieg Pirates had no chance to defend themselves and were completely defeated by the opposing group."
The young man placed a stack of papers in front of Colonel Nezumi and humbly said, "Colonel, these are the details of the opposing pirate group. Please take a look."
Without hesitation, Colonel Nezumi opened the papers and began reading. "Captain Ethan, dressed in black trousers..."
Colonel Nezumi skimmed through the lines, growing increasingly surprised as he read. His expression changed dramatically. Each captain, including Vice-Captain Lafitte, appeared extremely powerful, bordering on terrifying. According to the data, Krieg and his crew seemed completely defenseless, like lambs led to the slaughter.
"Damn it, damn it..."
Colonel Nezumi slammed the information onto the table, his mouse-like face twisted in anger as he cursed vehemently, his voice piercing.
"Where did these damn pirates come from? Why did they choose East Blue? Why didn't they go somewhere else? These bastards!"
"No, no, this group is too dangerous. It must be reported immediately."
Colonel Nezumi wore a terrified expression as he muttered to himself, "These people are all ruthless desperados. We must report this to headquarters so they can deal with them. Yes, that's it. It's settled."
"Alright, you may leave. I'll handle this matter."
The young man agreed and quickly turned to leave, not daring to utter another word.
Colonel Nezumi, as his name suggested, was despicable, unscrupulous, and greedy for his own life, afraid of death. The soldiers in the division feared him and held him in such high regard that they wouldn't dare speak out against him.
Naval Headquarters, Marineford.
At that moment, many generals were seated in the meeting room.
Suddenly, Brannew hurried over, holding a stack of documents.
"Master Sengoku, we've just received a message from below. Please take a look."
He respectfully handed the documents to Sengoku and stood quietly to the side.
Kizaru lounged in his chair, legs crossed, and quipped, "Is there some surprising news? Please don't startle this old man."
Brannew glanced at Kizaru and spoke humbly, "The 16th branch in East Blue has just received news that a group of powerful pirates has entered East Blue and managed to wipe out the largest pirate group in East Blue in one fell swoop."
Garp quickly turned his head to face Brannew and urged, "Tell us more about the situation. I'm quite intrigued, old man."
"East Blue, the weakest sea region, has finally become a bit interesting, hahaha..."
Yammakaji looked at Garp, wearing an extremely gentle smile as he commented, "Considering that East Blue is your hometown, it's no wonder you're so concerned about it."
Momonga nodded and smiled, "East Blue is indeed too peaceful. There are hardly any disturbances, making it the most stable sea area among the four seas."
By this time, Sengoku had finished reading the information. He looked at Brannew and said seriously, "Now, report the situation."
"Yes, Master Sengoku."
Brannew looked at the generals present and provided a detailed account.
"This pirate group is known as the Ethan Pirates, with Captain Ethan at the helm."
"At Baratie's, East Blue's most renowned seaside restaurant, a confrontation occurred."
"Captain Ethan didn't need to lift a finger; the pirates under his command annihilated the opposing side within three minutes."
"After reporting this news, we conducted an analysis and discovered that the ship used by this pirate group originally belonged to the White Ghost Pirates, the overlords of the North Blue."
Brannew's thoughts were crystal clear, and he had memorized all these details. He quickly elucidated the situation, ensuring that everyone present understood it clearly.
After Brannew finished his report, Sengoku rapped the desk and said solemnly, "Let's discuss this situation. This group of individuals is worth our attention."
"It's truly remarkable."
Garp raised his head, bursting into laughter and exclaiming, "East Blue has such an interesting character among its ranks. I truly want to visit my hometown now, hahaha..."
"Damn it, Garp, stop shouting in the conference room!"
Sengoku shot him a stern glance, scowling and scolding him in dissatisfaction.
