Two days had passed with Anton being fully recovered and back to work. He needed to go to the company personally this time. He needed to oversee the business personally since he'd been gone for too long.
He had left Xander at home because Xander was doing some work for him at home.
Sarah had also gone out to get some things for the house. She left not long after Xander came back from dropping off Anton.
Xander on the other hand had finished his work earlier and decided to get some sleep before he went to pick Anton up seeing as he was the one who dropped him off at work in the first place, and Anton had given him a time to come, since he insisted on picking him up.
He had slept for just a little over 30 minutes when he heard footsteps and smelt a certain cologne that had triggered memories in him as he lay on the bed.
He sat up and moved to the edge of the bed and tilted his head glaring at the door. He waited for the intruder and hoped it wasn't who he thought it was, as his heart pounded.
He pulled out a gun from his bedside and held it as he sat in waiting.
All of a sudden a man who looked very much like an older version of Xander, stood at the door with a cold smile.
"So this is where you hid?" The man asked. "Well it's time you returned."
"F-f-father?" Xander looked at the man in shock as to how he found Anton's house.
"That's enough. Let's return. Or I'll burn this place down." The man, Alexis threatened.
"Yes, father."

Anton who had just come back from work slightly pissed off that Xander didn't come pick him. Sarah greeted him as he entered, and he only nodded in response.
"Where's Xander?" he asked.
"I don't know sir. I haven't seen him since I returned." Sarah replied.
Anton frowned; sensing something was wrong, he entered their room to see the bed left in disarray, something Xander never did no matter how he woke up.
He looked around and saw one of the black rings Xander always wore on the table.
Anton got even more suspicious and he was getting annoyed by the second.
He sent Sarah home telling her to come back the next tomorrow. She left as commanded.
He went to check the security camera that faced the opposite road to the house, seeing a car park outside his house. He called Charles, whose number he had gotten the last time Charles came home with him, Zeta, and Caleb. He asked him to find the direction and destination of the car that parked outside his house with Xander in tow.
He then got Charles to drop him off with a helicopter. He planned to do everything else himself.

Xander had followed Alexis into a room that seemed like a throne room.
Alexis was more than irritated at Xander.
"After all I've done for you and after all you did to me, and all I lost because of you, you still dare to hide? Your level of ungratefulness astounds me. Your life is mine. Don't you see that, Xander?" Alexis yelled, loosing his cool. "Mine. You're just my toy soldier. My pet to use. You still don't get it? That's all you were born for. I asked you to do something for me, and what do you do? You ruin it. All because of a person."
"Do you realize what you've done, Xander?" Alexis asked, turning his back to Xander. "You leaving the business is more or less equivalent to cutting off our connecting with the family. If you leave, we have nothing to offer them anymore. You were so into your role as their adoptive son that you really believe you're Sebastian's real son? What an idiot. Sebastian can replace you anytime. He very obviously doesn't need you to play his son. He only needed your abilities to get this far and you feel he actually cared about you?
And what's this I hear? It's for a man? Man or woman, old person or child, do you think you have the right to be attached to anyone? Do you think that your life is yours? You think you can do what you want of your own choice? Need I remind you your origins. You're my son, and you're meant to exceed my expectations. To do far better than me. But you disappoint me.
Ah... I see... It's because Sebastian hasn't asked you to kill in years right? Fine, I have just the job for you." Alexis threw out a folder that hit Xander square in the chest, papers on the verge of falling out but Xander caught them quickly.
Seeing this, Alexis got even more annoyed. "That was slow. You've been too relaxed lately. And I'm guessing it's cause of that man."
Xander only stood there head bowed looking at the folder in his hands. Not moving an inch.
"You don't have the will anymore? You know what will happen if you disobey. You would rather die?" His father asked.
Xander didn't reply, only remaining in the same position.
"If that's the case, I'll just kill this Anton boy." Alexis announced turning around and walking past him towards the door. "You need to wake up very quickly and realize you can't have him. No matter what you do."
"You can't." Xander's replied immediately as his head shot up. "You can't. Don't do it."
"And why can't I?" Alexis asked with a smirk.
"I-i-" Xander stuttered out.
"See? You don't have a good enough reason why I can't. So I'll just kill him then. Or better yet, I'll have you go kill him." Alexis informed him with an excited smile.
"I'll-I'll do anything you want... Just don't bring him into this... Please."
"Please? You even know how to beg?" His father laughed.
"When did you become this way? I never taught you to be this weak." He told him with a kick that sent him flying into the wall.
He coughed a bit but stood back up obediently.
"If I can't make you work for your own life, I'll make you work for his, and by the time you realize the position you're in, I'll kill him in front of you. In other words, you'll never have a chance with him. Never. Even without me, you'll realize you don't deserve to even look at someone like that. You're dirt. Nothing valuable in his eyes. You kill people on a daily basis. So what would he think when he finds out. But until you wake up and realize that, I'll just use him over you." His father smiled in amusement.
"Go and do what I've asked you to do. A gentle notice. If you decide to fall of the face of the earth as well. I'll kill him too. You may leave." He said walking back to his seat and reclining on it, leaning his left elbow on the arm of his seat and resting his head on his index finger, middle finger and thumb of that arm.
"Yes, father." Xander couldn't even get angry anymore. He just wanted Anton safe. Now he was calm. Accepting his fate, walking out obediently to do his father's bidding.
