-Story Start-

-Third Person POV-

[Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga]

...

A large humanoid cocoon appeared behind Akira's figure, tied by dense white strings with a strange chakra coursing through them.

With a twitch, a mouth appeared in the cocoon.

Orochimaru was petrified with intrigue, as his muscles clenched and reinforced with Chakra.

His mind was curious yet his instincts screamed at him to stay alert.

Orochimaru's slitted gaze was so narrowed on the cocoon, that he failed to notice its summoner slowly sinking into the shadows below, his lower body already halfway in shadows.

With another twitch, the cocoon started unfolding, forming into...

An abomination.

It was a hulking and towering muscular humanoid figure.

Four wings protruded from where its eye sockets should be.

A tail-like appendage extending from the back of its head.

Strangest of all was a wheel floating above its head by some unseen force.

The wheel shivered in anticipation.

In wait of... Something.

Yet... Before Orochimaru could process any of this.

The abomination moved.

Balling his right hand into a fist, the abomination bent its body downward.

Aiming for its summoner whose head was entering the shadows at this very moment.

The fist flew at a mind-boggling speed, hitting the ground with an explosive impact.

The surrounding ground tremored, as dirt, dust, and grass flew in the air.

As the dust cleared, the ground was laid waste - A cobweb of cracks spread from the spot the abomination's fist hit.

The abomination noticed that it had failed to hit its target, Akira having managed to dive into the shadows just in the nick of time.

A sinister chuckle resonated that caught the abomination's attention, as it lifted its head to look at the source.

Orochimaru murmured loudly, concluding quickly, "I see why he hadn't used you earlier... He cannot control you, now can he? Mahoraga was your name? I wonder..."

The slitted eyes narrowed at Mahoraga, "You have no eyes, yet can see... What a fascinating specimen you ar-"

Orochimaru's words were cut short, his eyes widening as his body moved according to instinct.

Mahoraga appeared before Orochimaru in an instant, his body already coiled as he unleashed a powerful right hook.

Loosely, having not brought down his guard, Orochimaru managed a meager defense, his left forearm lifted to his face to block the blow.

...

And what a blow it was.

Mahoraga's fist impacted Orochimaru's forearm with a resonating crack and sent the snake flying with a boom.

Ragdolling through the air, Orochimaru flew through the giant trees, piercing them due to the sheer kinetic energy he was launched with.

Mahoraga smirked at the result of his punch, observing from afar how the giant trees began to topple, and the local wildlife as well as birds began to flee.

Nevertheless...

The Divine General had not killed his targets.

So, he moved.

-------------------------------

Eventually, the kinetic energy ran out, and Orochimaru's ragdoll ceased, as he impacted the ground in a small crater, a large explosion of dust and dirt kicking up in the air.

The snake chuckled, as a broad smile formed on his face, as he lifted his left forearm to gaze at it.

"A single punch, to nearly shatter all the bone in my forearm... A level of strength rivaling Tsunade."

He didn't need his instincts to scream at him to get up.

He was keenly aware this wasn't even close to being over.

"LET'S ENJOY OURSELVES, SHALL WE?!" He roared as his jaw unhinged, launching an extendable sword at breakneck speeds in front of him.

It impacted the speeding bullet that charged through the gigantic trees he had toppled.

Mahoraga brought his two hands together to make an X, to try and defend against the Sword Of Kusanagi as it pierced through his hands, spraying blood in the air and launching him back in great velocity.

The sword continued to extend in the dozens of feet per second, trying to pierce the Abomination.

Yet in the clash of strength, Mahoraga had managed to cease the piercing with but a stab in his muscular chest.

Eventually, Mahoraga's body impacted one of the gigantic trees, with a thunderous thud.

His large body was pushed into the thick bark, deeper and deeper by the Sword Of Kusanagi.

From afar Orochimaru's elongated neck and wicked grin approached and narrowed down on him, mounting the pressure on Mahoraga and attempting to pierce his chest with the blade, despite the seeming stalemate.

Until...

GASHNK - The ominous creak of a wheel turning.

The wheel on Mahoraga's head turned.

The piercing wound on his wrists and chest healed completely.

And the Sword Of Kusanagi's sharpness seemed... Less effective.

Orochimaru's eyes widened at the phenomenon as his elongated body was being pulled at great velocity by a powerful force.

Mahoraga's hands gripped the Sword Of Kusanagi tightly, the sharpness nicking the palm of his hands with a small cut as he pulled forcefully.

Within a mere few seconds, Orochimaru was almost in Mahoraga's range, as he detached the snake sword from his tongue.

Yet, Orochimaru had still obeyed the laws of physics, so he was still launched into the grinning Mahoraga's grasp.

His hands moved to quickly weave hand signs in mid-air, ignoring the flailing of his nearly broken left forearm.

He breathed in and exhaled a powerful breath of flame:

"Fire Style - Great Fire Destruction."

It was a seemingly all-encompassing flame flying towards Mahoraga and the tree he was caved into.

As the flames blazed through the air, out of Orochimaru's wrists a duo of snakes extended backward, biting on an intact tree, they began to pull Orochimaru away.

Grinning widely, Mahoraga quickly released his grip on the sword as he gazed at the flames...

Orochimaru rebalanced himself on a branch of a large tree, as he observed Mahoraga be consumed by the flames he sent with a great degree of interest.

His eyes widened by yet another strange phenomenon sourced through the abomination:

The flames had continued in their encompassing path, enveloping the greenery in a sea of flame and lighting up the forest in what would eventually become a grand flame.

Yet, the ones directly in Mahoraga's path had... Dispersed.

No...

Dispersed was the wrong way to term it...

Orochimaru did not know his grin could get any broader as he saw something nearly unprecedented before him, "You nullified it?!"

His gaze fixated on a protrusion on the abomination's right forearm.

A strange blade with a peculiar glow.

Greed overtook Orochimaru's slitted gaze, as he had an epiphany as to what that energy was.

It was...

"Yin-Yang Release! I MUST HAVE YOU! NARA AKIRA-" He ceased his speech as the ground below shook, Mahoraga having launched towards him.

Orochimaru was ready this time, as he launched another snake sword towards the abomination.

Yet, Mahoraga slapped it away with the back of his left hand with great strength, forcing Orochimaru's head to bend and sever a tree with his miss.

Mahoraga's gigantic palm enveloped Orochimaru's head as he reached him in an instant.

Grabbing onto it, he pulled him along his speedy trajectory, bringing him to the ground and dragging his face through the dirt, rocks, and mud.

Ignoring the ever-growing flames and smell of ash behind their trajectory.

He dragged him and dragged him for a long long distance, attempting to turn his brains and face into mush.

Eventually, Mahoraga burst through a gate that was guarded by a panicked yet aware Chunin beside it who scurried away quickly with a rabbit.

Orochimaru's expression was downright ugly from the debacle, and his forearm bent as they left the Forest Of Death to the more open Leaf Village Territory.

Nevertheless, as he was being dragged roughly with great speed by Mahoraga, his jaw unhinged in spite of the brutal assault.

With his free hand, he ignored the pain and sent a powerful gut punch to Mahoraga, ceasing the movement as the monster bent slightly from the impact.

Speedily recovering, Mahoraga attempted to smash Orochimaru's face into the ground, only for the unhinged jaw to shoot out a grotesquely looking, yet fully healed Orochimaru.

Mahoraga's movement hadn't pivoted, as he smashed the former husk into the ground, cracking it and shattering the bone and head into a bloody gore.

The newly rejuvenated Orochimaru smirked as he grabbed onto the winged protrusions from Mahoraga's eye sockets and began to yank them with all his charka-enhanced strength.

"You may have strength and speed. But you battle like a brute." He giddily commented.

To cease Mahoraga's retaliation, snakes extended from Orochimaru's feet as they coiled onto the arms and legs of the abomination, slowing him down as he attempted a counterattack.

Feeling reception, blood began to seep from Mahoraga's winged eyes...

Only for the beast to take a deep inhale of breath and his entire chest grew massively in size.

Orochimaru's eyes widened as he let go of the winged protrusions, but it was too late.

Mahoraga exhaled a powerful blast of wind, sending the snake ragdolling once more.

The swarm of snakes that held onto Mahoraga flew similarly, hitting the ground and splattering from the powerful impact, their spines shattering in a bloody gore.

GASHNK - The ominous creak of a wheel turning.

The wheel on Mahoraga's head turned.

Controlling his body with a grotesque and abnormal precision, Orochimaru spat out another healthier and slimy body of himself.

His earlier smirk now shifted to a thin line as he observed the rapidly approaching Mahoraga.

"He healed himself again... It was followed by a spin of that wheel of his." Orochimaru muttered his observations.

'With that sword... Ninjutsu's useless unless I can stop him from swinging it... Or overwhelm him from all directions.' He noted internally, a plan forming in his mind.

He smirked as he pricked his finger, quickly slamming his palm to the ground to make a seal, "Summoning Jutsu!" He roared.

A gigantic plum of smoke appeared, and out of it, emerged a massive purple snake, with Orochimaru on top of its head.

Its massive jaw opened in preparation to swallow the speeding bullet whole.

Mahoraga's smirk broadens as he extends the sword on his right forearm, charging into the Serpent's mouth.

"WRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" Manda roars in agony, as blood sprays on the roof of his mouth, the blade easily piercing the soft walls of the snakes insides.

Manda roars once more, "GET HIM OUT! OROCHIMARU!" He demanded as he attempted to spit the abomination out of him.

Orochimaru only smirked as he vanished from the top of Manda's head.

'I shall apologize to the White Snake Sage later.' He chuckled internally with mirth.

-------------------------------

Within the cavernous guts of Manda, an abomination wreaked havoc.

Blood and torn flesh mixed with stomach acid as the snake was being torn apart from its insides.

GASHNK - The ominous creak of a wheel turning.

The wheel on Mahoraga's head turned.

Once again, a swarm of snakes surged to grab hold of Mahoraga.

And from the roof of Manda's guts, four clones of Orochimaru appeared, weaving hand signs, surrounding the immobilized Mahoraga.

"Fire Style - Great Fire Destruction."

"Fire Style - Great Fire Destruction."

"Wind Style - Great Breakthrough."

"Wind Style - Great Breakthrough."

A destructive onslaught of wind and flame surged and surrounded Mahoraga.

Manda roared in agony at the tornado of flame that was boiling his insides.

However...

Mahoraga... Hadn't dallied.

In a split second, as if predicting or getting used to Orochimaru's usage of snakes, he broke through the immobilization in an instant by kicking the snakes away, as he burst into speed.

Charging towards one of the flame hurricanes.

His sword glowed with that strange chakra as he swung it with fervor as he charged forward, nullifying the flame and wind before him.

Nevertheless... The intense flame that was all around him managed to reach and scorch his back and even began to melt portions of his body.

He charged, nevertheless, and tore through the walls of the stomach, breaking out of Manda in a gory explosive display.

Landing on the ground with a powerful thud, a good portion of his back melting.

Manda dropped to the ground with an impact fitting his titanic serpentine body, and the light in the slitted snake's eyes began to dim...

While it wasn't an ideal nor a smart solution...

Mahoraga survived.

Orochimaru appeared with surprised delight in his eyes, rushing to finish the job with the Sword Of Kusanagi before the abomination could heal itself again.

He was too late...

GASHNK - The ominous creak of a wheel turning.

The wheel on Mahoraga's head turned.

He was completely healed and met Orochimaru's charge head-on with a broad smile.

With a clash of steel meeting steel, a resonating clang echoed in the open plains, as the Sword Of Extermination met with Sword Of Kusanagi.

Mahoraga parried Orochimaru's blade in a surprising swing and sent an uppercut at the snake.

The snake ducked under it, sending a powerful kick at the abomination's head.

Disorienting Mahoraga for a moment, Orochimaru went into a rapid exchange of Taijutsu with the beast.

'Getting hit isn't ideal...' He noted carefully.

Punch after punch, kick after kick.

While Mahoraga was vastly superior in strength and speed.

Mahoraga failed to match Orochimaru's skill in Taijutsu.

When he managed to break Orochimaru's limbs with an actual hit, the snake simply regurgitated himself back to a healthy constitution.

Until...

GASHNK - The ominous creak of a wheel turning.

The wheel on Mahoraga's head turned.

Having done minimal damage, the healing was only a tad annoying, but Orochimaru expected a logical limit.

Nevertheless, that was not what bothered him at the moment.

Something... Changed.

The blade on the abomination's forearm extended once more, as it swung with rather obvious choreography at Orochimaru's head.

While the speed was great, Orochimaru could predict the movement.

Orochimaru's slitted eyes widened in actual panic for the first time.

The beast grinned, as the swing was...

A feint.

The swing paused mid-trajectory, blasting wind in the snake's face.

Mahoraga's left arm shot to the ground with a resonating impact, once more predicting the sudden appearance of a swarm of snakes from Orochimaru's legs.

The ground shook from the sheer force, sending dust and debris in the air, obscuring vision.

The result was that it unbalanced their stances, especially Orochimaru's stance.

Extending his tongue in a panic to detect Mahoraga's presence, Orochimaru was put on the defensive.

And then...

The Sword Of Extermination changed trajectory, bisecting the snake in half in a blast of wind and blood.

Time slowed to a crawl.

Mahoraga's grin was that of sheer satisfaction and glee, whilst the bisected upper half of Orochimaru was frozen in a look of sheer astonishment.

...

This all happened when that wheel turned...

Orochimaru had finally figured it out.

And the conclusion...

GASHNK - The ominous creak of a wheel turning.

The wheel on Mahoraga's head turned.

Made him feel fear.

'IT TURNED AGAIN! THAT WHEEL ALLOWS HIM TO LEARN!' He roared in a panic in his mind.

Orochimaru's face transitioned once more.

From a delighted and bloodlusted smirk to one of a snarling, fearful expression.

Opening his jaw wide, Orochimaru attempted to regurgitate himself.

However...

For some reason... It was much slower.

Orochimaru's eyes dilated once more as Mahoraga's hand flew to his half-regurgitated face, smashing him onto the ground with a powerful impact, cracking the grassy floor and caving it in with Orochimaru's gory and twisted body...

He had the wrong conclusion...

Amid the pain, Orochimaru's eyes turned to the glow of the sword attached to Mahoraga's forearm.

'THE NEUTRAL FORM OF YIN-YANG RELEASE SHOULDN'T AFFECT THIS JUTSU'S EFFECTIVENESS!' He roared in utter dismay.

No, no.

The wheel didn't ONLY allow Mahoraga to learn.

Nay.

It allowed him to change the property of his attacks.

Specifically...

'HE ADJUSTED THE MALLEABLE YIN-YANG CHAKRA TO FORM A COUNTER TO MY JUTSU'S HEALIN-' His mind blacked out for a moment, Mahoraga smashing the snake's bent head into the ground once more.

The skull cracked, and Orochimaru was nearing his end.

The abomination grinned widely, as it decided to finish the job with the Sword Of Extermination.

Orochimaru resigned in a mix of fury and fear, he couldn't scream, so he roared in his mind, 'I NEVER EXPECTED TO USE THIS JUTSU ON ANYONE BUT SENSEI!'

His hands shakingly moved to quickly form a hand sign as Mahoraga's sword zoomed towards Orochimaru's skull.

And then...

-------------------------------

A portion of the Forest Of Death was lit aflame.

An ever consuming inferno that had begun spreading throughout the lush greenery.

The screams of agony and torture had ceased for a while.

Their replacement, the sounds of panicked animals and birds running for their lives from... Something.

The resonating sounds of impactful combat resonated from afar, as Anko and a group of ANBU rushed to its source.

'What is going on... Who is that damn bastard Orochimaru fighting?' She questioned in her mind as she ran.

It all started with the Nara brat's Rabbit informing them of Orochimaru's presence.

'But even he can't be this lacking in subtlety can he?' Anko agonizedly thought of that snake's cunning moves.

With how explosive and loud this seeming skirmish was going, it was as if Orochimaru was begging for the entire ANBU force and even Lord Third to run him down.

The fighting was moving at a rapid speed, from the looks of things, it had continued beyond the forest and Chunin Exams bounds.

Nevertheless, the threat must be dealt with.

She charged ahead, her eyes widening at the destruction left in Orochimaru's wake:

An inferno of flame, and a straight line of crushed ground and greenery.

Formerly gigantic trees now stumps as a result of the power exuded in the battle.

Biting her lip, she turned to the ANBU Captain beside her, the man's eyes narrowed into the distance as the sounds intensified.

While they all wondered what could be fighting Orochimaru to allow such a scale of power.

The Captain was focused on the task at hand.

"We need to hurry. We cannot allow Orochimaru to reach the Village in his destructive wake. Steel yourselves." He ordered his fellow members and Anko.

Nodding, they dashed through the forest, passing through the demolished gate and fence.

-------------------------------

"What... Is that?" One of the ANBU's voices reverberated as they stood in watch of a strange sight...

Before them was a titanic eight-headed white snake.

Much larger than Manda, this snake was nearly the size of the Nine-Tailed Fox.

Speaking of the purple snake, Anko couldn't help but grimace at the corpse of the colossal purple serpent that lay on the battlefield lifelessly.

Anko's expression was a conflicted mess, "That's his Eight-Headed Serpent Technique... He's desperate."

"Then... What could force him into using that?" Another ANBU member echoed.

The Captain's voice caught their attention, as he pointed beneath the snake, "Look below him, it's crushing some kind of... Creature."

Pressed below the crushing wake of the gigantic serpent's scales was Mahoraga.

Blood beneath him as the sheer weight was crushing his bones and tearing his flesh.

Orochimaru wasn't done, as three of the eight heads bent down.

Uncaring of inflicting self-harm, they unhinged their jaws and a ball of flame concentrated in their mouths.

Pouring flames like a flamethrower at the immobilized and crushed Mahoraga.

The flames appeared to have little effect.

But then...

An alien sound echoed in the ears of the ANBU and Anko.

GASHNK - The ominous creak of a wheel turning.

The wheel on Mahoraga's head turned.

With it, came an abrupt, mind-boggling shift in the tides.

The charred and crushed Mahoraga had completely healed.

And...

The eight-headed snake was suddenly pushed back, roaring in dismay at the sudden force that pushed it away.

Mahoraga had suddenly grown hundreds of feet to match the Eight-Headed Snake's Size.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" She backpedaled for a moment at how the humanoid abomination suddenly grew and healed itself, echoing everyone's thoughts.

Mahoraga's speed betrayed his size, as his Sword Of Extermination was similarly gigantic.

With a wicked grin on his face, he swung it with silent, brutal efficiency.

Cutting off four of the eight heads in an instant.

The large snakeheads dropped onto the ground with a resonating thud and impact, rivers of blood seeping onto the barren wasteland of the battleground.

Three of the four other heads rushed towards Mahoraga as he was still mid-trajectory in his swing.

Grabbing one of the heads, Mahoraga pulled the large serpentine main body towards itself, with great strength, he twisted the head off.

The other two heads that rushed to him used this opportunity to breathe lightning at him.

The lightning had proved effective, stunning the gigantic Mahoraga.

The last, fourth head grinned, as Orochimaru popped out of its tongue, using this opportunity to strike a critical blow at the beast.

The Sword Of Kusanagi was launched again with great velocity.

In a vast horizontal slash, the blade reached the giant Mahoraga's neck, it pierced through his skin, drawing blood.

Attempting to decapitate the Abomination once and for all.

Orochimaru's panic grew tenfold once more... As the blade stopped only a fifth of the way to decapitate the Monster.

His expectations weren't met whatsoever and a vital realization struck him once more.

The Blade...

It wasn't as effective as it was initially.

A realization that came too late...

GASHNK - The ominous creak of a wheel turning.

The wheel on Mahoraga's head turned.

Healing himself once more and, with great struggle, shaking off the shock of the ongoing flow of electricity, Mahoraga decapitated the nuisance of two lightning-breathing snake heads.

And in an absurd movement and show of control.

Shrunk into his usual size and launched himself toward the last snake head, with Orochimaru's slimy and grotesque upper body being revealed.

Orochimaru hadn't the time to contemplate, he had to get away.

Weaving hand signs and retracting the tongue sword in the meantime.

He was met with a sudden pain.

He blinked his slitted eyes.

Lowering his head to be met with...

The Sword Of Extermination Piercing His Heart.

Slowly, he lifted his head to be met with the grinning figure of Mahoraga.

Orochimaru was out of moves.

No more Chakra.

And regurgitating himself won't be effective with this Monster before him.

The grand fear of death overtook him, "D-Damn you..." He growled with gritted teeth as blood pooled at his mouth.

He gripped the blade with all his draining strength, a paltry effort that was lamentable at best.

He was absolutely livid.

His plans... Completely ruined.

The boy hadn't lied.

Orochimaru's only respite was...

'This isn't over... I'll be reviv-' His thoughts were cut short.

As Mahoraga retracted the Sword and with a swift movement pierced Orochimaru's brain with it.

Putting an end to his life.

The large white serpentine body suddenly disappeared in a large puff of smoke, the only evidence of its existence was the plummeting, bleeding corpse of Orochimaru and the remnants of the pools of blood from the chopped heads.

Mahoraga landed on the ground with a loud impact, his feet crushed the coarse ground beneath him.

...

The gathered ANBU and Anko could do nothing but observe with sheer astonishment at the sudden death of the notorious and much-wanted S - Rank Rogue Shinobi Orochimaru.

A Legendary Sannin.

A paradoxical feeling filled Anko's whole being.

'He's... Dead?' She couldn't help but wonder, a sense of both relief and... Emptiness oozed into her being.

She wanted to kill him herself, yet...

Why was she feeling this way?

...

Those thoughts and emotions were cut short very quickly.

Anko's hair stood on end, as her instincts screamed at her to not turn her gaze from the one responsible for the death of her former sensei.

She turned to look at the Abomination that exuded a sense of sheer dread and apprehension.

It just stood there, beside Orochimaru's bleeding corpse.

Silently.

Menacingly.

And suddenly...

It turned its head to her.

To Be Continued!

-Author Note Start-

Realistically speaking, I'd never have had the chance to finish this chapter for you guys today.

And even Akira's current state in this Alternate Timeline (Bro is running around doing side quests rn)

But that'd be redundant, since this isn't Canon and I really don't wanna waste ya'll's time with that.

You guys are here to read Maho-chan action so that's what you get.

Can anyone count the Adaptations in this chapter?
