(Quick note before you read the Interlude - Since Movie content for the most part is not Canon in Naruto, I'll be taking the special "Author's Leverage" and adjusting the plot and logic to fit my current world-building and needs. So yeah, just a fair warning about that. if something seems different in terms of Movie Content and not like you remember it - That was intentional. This will be my motto for all Movie Related content as well.)

(Also, this is an interlude - Call it a bonus before the next chappie that should come out in the next 2-3 days. Hopefully, 2 days, as I had a rough week lmao.)

(Also, RIP Average Word Count of my chapters - But oh well :P)

-Interlude Start-

-Third Person POV-

In the unfathomable depths of the cavern, echoes of bubbling and flowing magma reverberated, creating an eerie symphony within its darkened halls.

Scars of a vicious battle adorned the cavern's interior, a haunting testament to the fierce conflict that had unfolded.

The lifeless bodies of Shinobi lay strewn across the cave, their spilled blood painting the surroundings in a dreadful shade of crimson.

Yet, amidst this gruesome aftermath, a more ominous sound emanated from the cavern's deepest chamber...

GASHNK - The ominous creak of a wheel turning.

And with a bone-chilling inevitability, its consequence followed.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The demonic wail echoed, a symphony of pure agony resonating through the cavern.

The immortal Demon writhed in torment, its existence unraveling in pain.

This revelation struck the weeping priestess Shion with a profound shock.

She, as always, remained the sole survivor in this bleak situation.

Shion's tear-streaked face turned slowly, her eyes seeking the source of the Monster.

"Akira..." Her whispered words held incomprehensible tones as her lavender eyes found the malformed figure.

A boy of her age, his body grotesquely smashed into the ground, created a crater that bore witness to the force of his sacrifice.

Her gaze shifted to the Abomination he had summoned – A creature more demonic than the very foe it was unleashed upon.

Its gleeful, silent face carved through the shadows with sadistic delight.

"AHHHHHHHH, WHAT IS THIS?! WHAT ARE YOU?!" The demon's bellow of agony reverberated, helpless against the monstrous force that had recently been powerless before it.

The shinobi had exhausted every jutsu, every technique, and every Kekkei Genkai and Forbidden Jutsu.

From the most minor Genin down to the Kage themselves.

Yet... None proved effective.

Slowly, they started dropping like flies as they hadn't managed to pause the immortal Demon.

Akira survived the longest, healing from grievous injuries, and losing limbs, eyes, teeth, and organs without faltering.

Eventually, he decided to play his last card.

His humor persisted even as he faced his end, "Ironic... What could be more fitting than a Demon slain by a Divine Being? I'm sorry, Shion, but for the sake of the world and my loved ones, we're both meeting our end today." Akira's face darkened, his resolve unwavering.

He harbored no regrets, except one.

Blood oozed as he bit his mouth, regret echoing in his words, "I should've done this sooner..."

Shion called out, confused and hopeless, "Akira, what are you say-"

He ignored her.

With a sense of urgency, he raised his arms in fists, chanting, "With This Treasure I Summon..."

[Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga]

"Immortal this you ugly bastard!" Was Akira's last biting words before the very monster he summoned flattened him into the ground.

Is Immortality a phenomenon?

Yes?

If so...

Mahoraga will adapt to it.

And Akira's words rang true...

GASHNK - The wheel on the Monster's head spun once more.

Signifying Moryo's end.

The Monster, wielding a blade on its arm, ended the Demon's life with a final cry – a loud whimper for mercy as darkness faded away, "AHHHHHHHHHHH! IT HURTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH-"

Suddenly, the agony and scream ceased abruptly.

Moryo's Immortality crumbled before the Monster.

Observing the abomination Akira had summoned, Shion pondered, "Can this truly be deemed Divine?" A moment of profound wonder.

The Monster's sadistic smile sent shivers, its eldritch humanoid appearance defying the natural order.

Even more unsettling was its silence, persisting even when injured in combat.

No roar.

No sound.

And then, it turned to her.

As she blinked, a sharp pain pierced her chest, and she noticed a large sword impaling her.

Looking up, she saw the grinning figure, having appeared before she could register it.

A sad smile adorned her face as she whispered, "Perhaps, this was the best outcome..."

...

As the lingering echoes of agony subsided, the oppressive darkness began to dissipate, unveiling a new reality.

Shion's eyes flickered open, her kaleidoscope eye pattern gradually transforming back to her natural eye pattern.

Like a plunge in cold water, she gasped.

"Lady Shion!" Her guards rushed to her aide, responding to their lady's sudden gasp.

Taruho arrived by Shion's side as she listlessly gazed at the floor, still shaken.

"Another premonition, Lady Shion?" His tone carried a mix of worry and professionalism.

Taruho's words allowed Shion to regain her composure. Slowly, she lifted her head to meet his eyes, "Hmph." She huffed coldly, regaining her snobbish countenance.

Shion's Future Tellings were nothing new to the Priestess and her entourage of guards - It was a well-known ability in the Land Of Demons and the World as a whole.

However, internally, she was bewildered.

'It never was so far in the future. I looked so much older...' She thought with a hint of concern.

And most importantly... She couldn't remember much of the vision.

'There was that boy... And the Monster that kills me.'

She only remembered the final moments before her death and those around her.

Normally, this was no issue.

But with this vision so far into the future...

What can she do?

To Be Continued!

-Author Note Start-

This is an interlude, I've taken a liking to them from my Gojo Fic so I'll be using them when I really don't know where to shove things that are relevant in a chapter lmao. Once again, the chapter should be coming relatively soon - 2/3 days.

Opinions on the Interlude people? I accept all constructive feedback and welcome it!
