Chapter 1 - I reincarnated as a sword

Ronin, As a freelancer, he took on various jobs to sustain his livelihood. As an orphan, he spent his free time engrossed in reading novels, leaving him devoid of a love life and never considering the possibility of having one.

After delving into numerous novel genres, he grew weary of the repetitive and formulaic plotlines. Seeking something unique, he conducted research and stumbled upon an intriguing storyline. However, as he continued reading, the once-interesting plot became increasingly frustrating, culminating in a heart attack that claimed his life on the spot.

Yet, the moment his eyes reopened, he found himself trapped within the confines of a sword. He could sense his sword-like form and the environment surrounding him, but he remained immobile. As he absorbed the unfamiliar surroundings, a radiant light began to materialize, growing brighter with each passing second, until a fully formed human-shaped figure stood before him.

"Ronin, I have fulfilled your final wish, and you have been reincarnated as a sword," a voice emanated from the human-shaped light and reached the sword.

"How do you know my name?" Ronin asked, his tone laced with surprise.

"I possess knowledge of everything in this universe," proclaimed the human-shaped light.

"How in the world do you possess knowledge of everything in this universe? Where exactly are we? Why am I here? And how on earth did I end up as a sword?" Ronin's voice carried a tone of annoyance as he bombarded the human-shaped light with questions.

"Take a look around you," the human-shaped light responded, snapping its fingers. The scenery instantly changed, revealing a vast expanse of space.

"What in the world? Why am I floating in space?" Ronin exclaimed, his confusion evident.

"Don't panic. In this space, you won't fall or face any harm. So, just relax," the human-shaped light teased, its tone light-hearted.

"Now, Ronin, do you comprehend who I am and the extent of my capabilities?" the human-shaped light inquired.

"No, I still have no understanding of who you are or what you can do," Ronin replied, his voice tinged with irritation.

"Frankly, I couldn't care less. All I want to convey is that what happens now and in the future is entirely up to you. Your fate rests in your hands, whether it turns out to be favorable or worse. I will grant you one powerful technique that will make you an unbeatable and formidable sword in the parallel world to which you will be sent. You need not worry about moving your sword body; simply choose the technique you desire within your mind," the human-shaped light explained. Two lights emanated from it and hovered before the sword.

"Screw you and your notion of fate," Ronin retorted, selecting two sword techniques. As soon as he made his choice, the lights vanished from their hovering position and appeared within Ronin's consciousness.

"Well, I certainly didn't see that coming. How intriguing," the human-shaped light remarked, once again snapping its fingers. This time, the sword disappeared from its original location and materialized, leaning against the wall beside the bed.

"That despicable light creature actually sent me to this wretched parallel world, which resembles that dreadful novel. Wait, why do I hear the incessant creaking of a bed?" Ronin mumbled in a low voice, taken aback when he noticed the source of the sound.

"It's him! That bastard! I'll kill him!" roared Ronin's consciousness from within the sword, attempting to move, but despite his efforts, he couldn't budge even an inch.

"Ronin, you cannot move or speak in this sword form," a voice echoed in Ronin's consciousness.

"What in the hell are you doing in my consciousness?" Ronin angrily inquired.

"Relax, my boy. It's not really me. It's merely my pre-recorded thoughts that I left within your consciousness while I reincarnated you into this sword. These thoughts will serve as guidance for your journey in the parallel world you find yourself in," the voice explained, resonating within Ronin's consciousness.

"I don't need your guidance. Get out of my consciousness," Ronin asserted.

"Alright then, until you humbly beg for my assistance, I won't intervene," the voice echoed and vanished completely from his consciousness.

"Why would I ever beg a stupid and detestable god like you?" Ronin muttered, glaring at the figure on the bed, who acted no less than a wild beast.

"I knew your character would never change, even in this parallel world that resembles the novel where you are the main character. I'm certain you're involved in an affair with someone's wife right now," said Ronin in an angry tone.

"What's wrong with her? Can't she see the true character and personality of the man she's involved with? I'm sure that scoundrel killed her husband, yet she continues the affair, oblivious to everything, simply because he's popular and hailed as a hero in this world," Ronin cursed angrily, observing the young woman who showed no signs of hesitation during their passionate encounter.

"Ah... mmm..."

"Damn it, I can't take it anymore. I'll kill that scoundrel and that foolish woman," thought Ronin, frustrated by his inability to act while forced to listen to the intense moans coming from the bed.

"This is hell for a single guy like me, living a second life, and yet I remain single even in this second life," said Ronin, his voice filled with frustration.

"Wait, there are two techniques I received from that foolish god. Let me check them out," thought Ronin as he began searching for the two techniques stored in his consciousness. After a few seconds, he finally found the two techniques related to swordsmanship.

"Celestial Sword Technique, Demonic Sword Technique... What dominant names," thought Ronin as he started reading the techniques, even though he didn't recognize a single word among the descriptions hovering in his consciousness.

It didn't take long for him to comprehend the contents of what he was reading. However, suddenly, two lights began to shine brightly within his consciousness, and vibrations surged through the sword, extending to its surroundings. The sword toppled, and as it fell, its sharp edge sliced through the nearby bed leg.

Boom!

"Ouch... ouch!"
