The plane landed.
After landing the plane Aria and John both got out of there seats.
"I'm going to take you to somewhere very special." Said Aria
"Where?" John asked
Aria just smirked.
"I'll show you." She said
Aria and John both left the plane. Aria payed a man fifty dollars to drive the plane into the hangar. Then she took John to the airport. John didn't particularly like airports. They were crowded and filled with refugees nowadays, which was uncomfortable for John to look at. Because John was like most people, he didn't like to watch people suffer.
Aria took John to a car rental place that was right next to the airport.
"Let me pay. Your the one that flew me here." Said John
Aria just raised her brow at him.
"Sure thing, mister billionaire," Aria said
"You can pick out the car."
Aria just nodded.
Aria picked out a large black truck.
John told Aria to drive and sat down in the back.
"I'm too fat to drive," John said
Aria just rolled her eyes at that.
And with that, they were on their way.
People looked at John a bit weirdly. But no one cared enough to do anything about it, even though sitting in the bed of a truck while it was moving was a gross violation of the law.
John spent a while enjoying the sights as the car moved. The places Aria had taken John to were unique. They only had homely-looking townhouses as buildings. And there were trees dotting the sidewalks of the streets. Palm trees, to be specific. They were beautiful.
MURDER! MONSTER! MURDER! MONSTER!
Even as the indictment persisted, John couldn't help but admire the sights.
And then the location changed. Soon, Aria was driving up mountain roads. And John admired the trees and the birds singing.
John really wanted to eat one of those birds. If they tasted anywhere as good as they sounded, they would be delicious. After that, John admired the dirt. It was so perfect. It was such a great colour.

And then John just stared. He looked at that thing. That thing that spoke and knew and spoke.
SINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSIN
And the good feeling was gone.
YOU END!
YOU SIN!
YOU EVIL!
YOU YOU
PAIN IS YOUR GAME!
AND YOU FORCE OTHERS TO PLAY
GUILT IS YOUR PILL!
GOBBLE IT LIKE A GLUTTON
"HEY! HEY! HEY!"
In front of John was a face. This face also had a body. And if John remembered, it also had a name.
Names. They were empherial things. They held a life that many could not understand. But they were not unique. Many people had the same name. That was just the way.
Aria. She's Aria…..
John took a deep breath.
"Yes, Aria?" John asked
"Get off your ass. You're going on a walk with me." Aria said
John just looked at her for a moment. Then he slid off the bed of the truck.
"Okay," John said.
John followed after Aria as they walked through the forest. After a few minutes of walking, John asked a question.
"So where are we going anyways?" John asked
Aria smiled
"I'm taking you somewhere special. Somewhere I always go when I'm feeling down." Aria said
John nodded.
"Ahh, really. I guess that'll be nice." John said
Aria smiled.
"Trust me. You'll love it."
They walked for the next twenty minutes in complete silence.
John didn't care to say a word. And Aria didn't either.
They just walked and admired the nature around them. John had never been on a hike before. In fact, he'd only see forests during car drives or from the plane. He'd never walked in one.
So this was a new experience for John. And he couldn't say that he disliked it. All the animals that he saw made him hungry. But the trees were pretty.
"LOOK! A DEER!" Yelled Aria
She pointed straight towards where it was.
John looked in that direction. Standing there was a deer. It stared at John and Aria. It was frozen.
John gave the deer a wide, toothy grin. The deer tilted its head to the side. Then it started to frantically hop away from John.
A slap slammed into John's shoulder. John tensed up. He was ready to fight.
Aria was looking at John with what seemed to be an almost lethal glare.
"YOU SCARED THE DEER AWAY!" She yelled
John turned his head down in guilt.
"Sorry...."
For a second, Aria just looked at John. Then, a wide smile split on her face.
She slapped him again.
"I'M JUST KIDDING! I'M JUST KIDDING! IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT YOUR UGLY MUG SCARED THE DEER AWAY!" Aria yelled loudly
"He. He. He." John could only let out a mute chuckle in response to that.
SINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSINSIN
"Should...….. Should we keep going?" John asked
Aria nodded.
"Yes. Lets."
And then, after a few more minutes of walking. They were there.
.
…
...
...…
...
Beauty. That's how John would describe it. It was a sight that was just beauty itself.
Before, John was a waterfall. One fell from the twisted truck of a large tree that towered many feet above all the trees around it. In the center of the tree, there was a hole through which a river flowed. The water from the river fell a great hole into the ground, never to be seen again.
The tree really was massive. Almost impossibly massive. It had to be at least two hundread feet high. If not higher.
The light reflected off the waterfall in such a way that flickering rainbows were made. They would live and die in a manner of instants. But the colours could still be seen. And then the water would fall into that hole. It was like a void consuming all light.
John couldn't help but smile at the falling water.
"It's pretty, isn't it?" Aria said
John nodded
"Pretty doesn't even begin to describe it," John said
"Thank you for taking me here."
Aria was silent.
