Chapter 95 - Vol 2 Chapter Seventeen: WATTS

John looked at the opulent mansion in front of him, from the hedges to the gardens. Every part of it was beautiful. There was only one problem.

John still didn't know where his dragons were. For all John knew, the dragons could have literally vanished. They could have just fallen out of existence for John never to see again.

The world was a bit more grey, and John's heart beat a little harder without them.

But despite this John walked into the mansion. He suspected that Maria would have done something with them. Most likely, she would have called the authorities. Then Mechna would have been the one to handle them.

Then the question was what Mechna would do. John wasn't sure... But he felt the chances were pretty high that Mechna would have brought them to the mansion.

John walked up the gravel driveway of the mansion and stopped at a metal gate. The metal was black and looked like steel. There was a slab of wood on the other side of the gate that appeared to be blocking John from entering.

John looked around. He hoped they might have an intercom near the gate that would summon someone down to open it for John. But John found no such thing.

John looked at the block of wood blocking the gate.

~Oh well. Might as well take the easy way in.~

John reached out for the wood block. He put his hand around it. His hand was large enough to fit around the whole slab.

John clenched his fist around the wood.

The wood in John's hand turned into a handful of splinters that stabbed into John's palm. The slab was now broken in the middle. Each half of the wood fell in front of the gate. John looked at the wood laid on the gate. With ease, he pushed the gate open.

John continued his stomp to the mansion.

There were robots trimming the hedges. And even more, mowing the lawn. They were like John's personal maids.

"HELLO PROPRIETOR! I AM THE PROPER PRESET PRESENT PRATICAL PU-BUTLER!"

John's head swung in the direction of the sound.

Standing below him was a robot. It had a screen for a face like the other robots, and it had a hand above what would be its forehead. It was giving a salute. It wore a frilly butler costume that hung over its thin metallic frame.

"I have been assigned and resigned to assist you in whatever you want. Because I am the present to send the new set, preset commands to these recently reset robots."

"You can call me MARK! Because Mark my words, I will always get your orders right on the mark, and if not, it will be a mark on my record. And then I will become unmarketable." Said, Mark

John looked down at the robot. It was tiny, and it came to about John's waist. It was clearly made to be just a bit smaller than whoever owned it. But for John, it almost looked like a child.

"Okay. Where's Naos? And where's Neptune? Are they here? And if not. Then where did Mechna put them?" John said

Mark looked up at John. Its screen face showed a squinting, scrunched-up look.

"Do you mean the lizard-dogs? The ones that go |YIP!| Are those the ones you speak of?" Asked Mark

John squinted back at Mark.

Did he just play a sound bite of my dragon's yipping? And lizard dogs? What!

"Yes. They're called Dragons, though."

Mark nodded.

"That's what I said. They are playing in the grassy grass field with such grass burned that grass me never be earned. Therefore, it will be ended."

Ugh.

Every day seemed to drag on for an eternity nowadays.

"Can you show me to them?" John asked

Mark nodded.

"Allow me to automize myself in the auspicious angle," Mark said

The look of a man who sees only pain appeared on John's face.

If I have to listen to these crappy poems every day, then I might actually rip my face off.

Mark started walking. John stomped behind him.

He used to blubber. But now that he had gotten stronger. He stomped.

I'd probably eat my face too. John thought

.

...

...…

...

Fire and ice. Mixing together in a sick storm. The chill of a blizzard mixed with the heat of a volcano. Grass shrivelled or burned. Surrounding this phenomenon were metal men. They clapped as the environment around them destroyed life. It was like a game to them.

"I BE THE ONE WHO IS BET TEN WATTS ON THE HOT HOT MUCH HEAT FIRE ONE!" Yelled one of the robots.

"I SHALL BET A HALF OF TEN WATTS ON THE SHIVER ME TIMBERS FROSTBITE ME DADDY COLD ROBOT!" Said another robot.

For a moment, John just watched this. He didn't want to deal with these stupid robots betting whatever the hell watts were on a play fight between his two favourite beings.

John stomped towards the dragons. He walked into their storm of ice and fire. The ice and the flame didn't even affect John. He was too tough for that.

John reached out and grabbed Neptune by the tail.

"GYHAAAAAAAAAA!" Neptune screamed as John lifted it up into the air.

The ice and fire suddenly fizzled out. Neptune had gotten so large that he extended down to John's waist when John held him up above his head.

"YIP!"

Neptune jerked out of John's grip and tackled his chest. He gave hundread of licks to John's face.

Naos came running over as well.

John fell over as the two large dragons jumped on him. His face was covered in their little kisses.

"I KNOW! I KNOW! I'M BACK!" John yelled

He'd been gone for less than a day. But the dragons were needy babies. John gave them pets as they licked him.

The robots just stood there and watched silently as this happened.

But despite that. This was a happy moment for John.

I made the flickering spark in John's chest burn bright. Even if Just for a little bit.

Even if it was going to fizzle out. Like any fire. At this moment.

It burned.
