"I appreciate your visit, my dear. I was getting quite bored," Grandpa Cian said, his voice hushed, a glimmer of amusement in his eyes that brought a smile to Verena's lips.
"I was feeling restless too, Grandpa. I can't wait for all of this to be over," Verena confessed, looking at her foot, her eyes reflecting her longing for normalcy.
Verena was eager to start her modelling career, especially since their shoot had been postponed. Aurora, caught up in her collaboration with Lyon, hadn't been able to meet Verena as planned.
