After some seconds, she asked. "Why? Why is it important? It's between husband and wife, so why?"
Louis looked over at her and said, "It's stupid tradition here." He shrugged his shoulders, feeling a wave of frustration. He sighed, wishing he could offer a more satisfying explanation.
His wavy blonde hair was a mess, but his eyes made him look appealing.
"So...?" Verena closed her mouth. She didn't know what to say or do.
All she knew was that he never informed her, and they were in a contract marriage, so they couldn't possibly do that.
She saw Louis walk towards the corner of the room and see there were two small tables, and one of them had fruits and a knife on it.
