He placed the glass of orange juice in front of her before seating with his own share of the meal.
"How does it taste?" Jordy asked her
"It's delicious. I really didn't expect you could cook" Lianne replied
-------------
After they had eaten almost half of their food, Jordy finally decided to being the topic up.
"umm so are you free today evening?" Jordy asked her making her look up at him.
"Yeah I guess so" Lianne replied.
"Umm do you want to go on a date with me? I figured since we just started dating for real, we should have a first real date" Jordy said scratching the back of his hair nervously
"oh. Of course." Lianne replied.
"ok then, be ready by 6. I'll pick you up" Jordy told her.
Later on, after Jordy had dropped her at school, she met with the girls
"Start talking" DD told Lianne
"Well yesterday, after the incident, I told Jordy that I was ready to be in a real relationship with him as his real girlfriend. However, he'll still be on probation until the one month is over and then we'll be official. And this morning,Jordy asked me out for a date this evening" Lianne explained and waited for their reaction.
The girls were quiet for a while and then in a flash, they all screamed on top of their voices. They pulled her into a tight group hug. They all told her how much they were happy for her.
Meanwhile, as Lianne was telling her friends, the same thing was going on in the guy's bridge room.
The guys were close to blowing Jordy's eardrums off.
"What did you say?" Jetty shouted
"You and Lianne are dating for real" Yan said
"How did it happen? Spill everything without missing a single detail" Tom said
"Well after the incident yesterday, I took her to the house and she told Robb to being the first aid kit. She treated the wound and told me that she had decided not to wait anymore and that she was ready to be in a real relationship with me." Jordy explained.
"So you guys are official now?" Jetty asked
"Not exactly. I'm still on probation for now. She said she'll decide whether to become official by the end of the month." Jordy told them
"Yesterday, Anita called me saying something about you being in the guest room because Lianne was in yours. So I'm guessing your parents know already" Tom said
"Mom knows about Lianne obviously, Anita does too and I don't know how but dad found out. He said he was coming back to see who it is and it turns out he's visiting with aunt Viv. Something keeps telling me I'm making a mistake about introducing Anna to her." Jordy said
"Why?" Yan asked him
"She wants me to marry her friend's daughter, Emelia. The last time I went home, which was after my first date with Lianne, she told me about Emelia. I told her I didn't want to date her but she went behind my back and invited Emelia and her parents over. I managed to avoid meeting them but she never gave up on the idea. Lianne and I are just starting our relationship and I could really do without misunderstandings for now" Jordy said
All his friends sighed in understanding. This friend of theirs really had a lot of work to do.
Later on, Lianne and the rest of the girls were having a business class. As soon as the teacher entered into the class, the entire hall went silent. This was the new professor they were all expected.
"Good day students, I'm professor Victor Blackwell and I'll be taking you in the strategic management and leadership course" The man introduced himself gaining Lianne's attention. She squinted her eyes at the man trying to remember where she knew him from but for some reason all she got was that odd familiar feeling.
She was suspicious that this man had more to him than just being a professor. She pressed a little red button at the side of her watch and a tracking device in the shape of a spider came out. She whispered to it and it crawled away towards the direction of the professor's bag unnoticed.
After making sure the device was working, she looked up and coincidentally met with the man's eyes. He had a creepy smile on his face for a split second before returning back to his original expression.
'little lamb, little lamb' the man thought in his head
