Chapter 19 - System operations

It was now a couple of days after Jack had 'grown up,' and he enjoyed the changes in his life with his harem. Now, it was the night that he got full access to the system.

When the clock hit midnight, the system began buzzing and making strange sounds. The system screen also began flickering, and random letters and symbols appeared on it. The symbols kept flashing until they just stood still. It was like a puzzle that he needed to decipher.

But luckily for him, the system did that for him, and this is what the symbols meant:

[The system will give full access to itself to the host. It will now destroy all the seals on the system and the host's body. The following changes will be made:

The host's body is changed from mortal to immortal.

The host's talent will be upgraded from high-grade talent to divine-grade talent.

The host's insight will be upgraded from intermediate to divine

The host will now have access to the army tab and military shop.

The host will now have access to the shop.

The host will now have access to the system tab army.

The host will now have access to the system tab status.

We have detected that the apocalypse is coming faster than planned. The host will receive an anti-virus serum from the year 2143 that humans made against the apocalypse. The system will now shut down.]

After saying that, the system panel went away in a flash. Jack tried to call for it, but nothing happened; he didn't get a response. He called for Gabriel, but she didn't answer either, so he worried about her. But after calming down and thinking about it, he could only pray that she would return and that he couldn't do anything to help her.

So he walked to his mother's room, where his birthday gift would be. When he arrived and opened the door, he smiled as he saw his birthday gift. The birthday gift didn't let him or his mom sleep that night; he was so happy.

The following day, while reading a book, a pop-up window caught his attention. This wasn't just any pop-up window; it was his system's pop-up window. When he saw that his system was basically restored, he began calling Gabriel again, but the response he got was the same as the day before.

So, to kill time, he decided to really look at his system's functions.

There were the basic functions he got from the beginning, but there were more now that he hadn't really put the time in to see them. Like the faith points tab, the servant points tab, and so forth.

But the first tab that he wanted to visit was the shop because, even though it was a tab he had from birth, he never could buy something from it. So now that he could, he decided to first buy some things he had been eyeing for a long time.

So he pressed on the shop tab and scrolled up and down, excited that he could finally buy something. When he saw something he wanted, he bought it because, with all the family points he collected over the years, he was so rich that he felt like he could buy anything in it, so he didn't hold back.

Of course, the first thing he bought was a sword, but not any sword—a soul sword. A soul sword grows with him and becomes stronger the more he uses it.

The second thing he bought was sword supreme, so now he could control all the swords in the world and make them obey him. He was strong enough to fight against a god-king and wound them pretty heavily with just those two purchases.

But did he stop there? Of course not. He bought a soul spear and a spear supreme. He did the same for the bow, the axe, the shield, martial arts, and boxing; he bought it for everything. After purchasing all that, he started thinking about his harem members, so he bought them Strength Potion Divine Grade fifty times, Constitution Potion Divine Grade fifty times, and Defence Amulet ten times.

He bought his lovers all kinds of buffs and protection items because their safety was his biggest concern. The second thing he checked out in the system was under his servant tab, which was the servant points and what he could buy with them. They were pretty easy to understand and use. Everything he could buy with them was in favour of the bond between the master and the servant.

So, after scrolling for a bit, he decided to buy a few things for his two servants, and the first thing he bought was a mini system. A system that generated quests automatically and rewarded them if they did something good for their master.

The second was a merit-based trade system. The more they did for him, the more merit points they got, and they could trade those merit points for anything they desired. He also bought the merit system in ring form. The only prerequisite to putting it on was that the wearer considered him their master; if not, they couldn't put the ring on.

He bought thousands of those rings because Amaterasu had asked for something like this. The last thing he bought was a telepathic bond. It is just for talking with each other, but the difference is that even if they aren't in the same world, he could still contact them, and they could contact him.

He also bought it and made it like there were positions that needed to be filled, and the higher you are in those positions, the easier it is to communicate with him or even communicate with him directly if they are high enough.
