The kind woman brought some coffee for both of them. They sat in the main hall, and their eyes met for a moment. Sam asked, "What's your name?" The woman smiled and said, "My name is Christina, and you?" Sam replied comfortably, "Sam, nice to meet you, Christie." She laughed and said, "Oh my, you shortened my name so quickly?" Sam smiled, "I really dislike formalities when meeting someone."
Sam and Christina spent some time talking about books, especially science fiction, as Christina was passionate about them. About half an hour passed, and suddenly Christina said, "You know? When I saw you entering the door for the first time, I felt like you were a wandering soul." She continued, "Also, your appearance doesn't help but reinforce that image in my mind." Sam looked puzzled, "What's wrong with my appearance? Do I look a bit poor?" Then he smiled with feigned embarrassment. Christina blushed a bit and said, "Not at all. I mean, you're somewhat tall and pale-skinned." She paused and smiled, "And you seem to be lacking in nutrition." Sam chuckled slightly, "Well, somewhat." Then Christina took his hands and said, "So, how about I take you to a restaurant? There's a place across the street that serves incredibly delicious Chinese food." Before Sam could decline, Christina continued, "And it's all on me, of course." Despite his initial resistance, Sam reluctantly agreed due to her persistence.
After closing the library, Christina led Sam to the nearby restaurant. They sat by a window with gentle raindrops outside. Christina turned to him and asked, "So, how old are you, Sam?" Sam smiled artificially, "21." Christina showed a hint of shock, "I never expected you to be this young." Sam laughed, "Did you expect me to be a jobless thirty-year-old with five kids and three ex-wives?" Christina looked at him with interest and playfully said, "Somewhat, considering your appearance, you've been through a lot." Sam was a bit annoyed by her comment but kept his smile, "Certainly, I have enough life experiences to make me doubt I've lived three times over."
As they finished their sentences, their food arrived. Sam ordered Kong Pao chicken, while Christina had spring rolls. They calmly enjoyed their dinner, exchanged simple comments about the food, and laughed about its swift arrival. When they finished eating, Christina asked simply, "So, how long have you been growing your hair?" She referred to Sam's long, smooth black hair that reached his neck. Sam turned to her and joked, "Since I couldn't afford a barber anymore." Christina laughed at his comment and said, "You're truly a funny man, Sam."
Sam tried to thank her and apologize, but Christina interrupted, "Since you're poor and all, what do you think about sleeping at my apartment tonight?" Sam froze for a moment, thinking, 'Damn nonsense. I wanted to distract her a bit, and now she wants me to go to her apartment? Has this woman never seen a man before? I purposely mocked my poverty to disgust her' Sam realized refusing her would cause trouble, making her doubt his intentions in the library. Reluctantly, he agreed, saying, "I hope you have some heaters, because I'm quite cold." Christina blushed and said, "Of course, you won't feel cold at my apartment. Come on." She held his hands and led him out of the restaurant, paying the bill and using her clean umbrella to shield them from the rain.
Sam walked beside her, her soft hands barely reaching his chest, feeling like his head was hitting the umbrella's top. Christina looked at him provocatively and leaned towards him slowly. They continued walking for a bit before Christina pointed to a modest apartment building on the left side of the street. They went inside and took the elevator, continuing an awkward silence between them. They reached the third floor, and Christina took Sam's hand, leading him to apartment number 17.
Sam and Christina entered the apartment. It was somewhat spacious with several rooms, a bathroom, a large kitchen, a beautiful modern living room. Christina said, "Consider yourself at home. I'll go change." She quickly placed her shoes in front of the door and went to what seemed to be her bedroom to change clothes. Sam relaxed on the couch after taking off his wet coat and hanging it on the coat hanger behind the main door. He waited for Christina and observed the place. It was clean, organized, and had a touch of charm. Sam also noticed a bookshelf with books, which piqued his curiosity, prompting him to approach.
Sam took the first book within his sight. The book's title was "Adventures of the Young Lady in the World of Monsters." He flipped through the pages curiously, only to discover it was an explicit novel with a plot about a girl venturing into a dangerous land filled with monsters to search for her lost lover. There, she faced multiple harassment from the monsters and even violations from them. Sam wasn't sure about the rest of the plot since he quickly placed the book back on the shelf, not wanting to arouse Christina's displeasure about her peculiar taste in stories. He returned calmly to the comfortable couch and waited for Christina.
Christina returned wearing a wearing a cute but slightly revealing and tight nightwear that exposed a bit of her chest through the wide neckline. As she approached, Sam playfully remarked, "Did you just wake up, Christie?" She smiled calmly and said, "Am I going to bed with a man in the living room? I'm not that careless." Then she sat next to him on the couch, took the remote control for the large TV, and asked, "So, what movie do you want to watch?" Sam nonchalantly replied, "Anything's fine with me." Christina looked at him with curiosity and chuckled, "Anything?" Sam gave her a strange look and said, "Yeah, anything." She laughed with amusement and decided to browse through movies until she stumbled upon one titled "376 Days in Captivity and Love." It seemed to be about a woman imprisoned by an obsessed wealthy man who tells her he'll keep her captive for a year, and if she doesn't fall in love with him, he'll set her free. Sam wasn't particularly interested, but Christina seemed highly intrigued.
Throughout the movie, Christina got closer to Sam, touching his thigh and hands. Sam, too, felt the desire to touch her, as she sat in positions that made her clothing barely a transparent cover for her body. Sam decided to go along with it and moved closer to her, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her towards him. Christina didn't resist; she melted into his embrace. 'Ridiculous, I didn't even shower beforehand' Sam thought and sighed internally. He noticed that Christina wasn't bothered by this and seemed at ease.
Christina commented on some events in the movie, sharing her thoughts, and Sam reciprocated, though his comments were sleepier than Christina's. As the movie reached its end, an intense scene appeared on the screen. The hero passionately kissed the heroine, and their bodies intertwined intimately. Sam felt a slight shiver from Christina. 'Don't tell me she's just getting excited from the scene?' Sam sighed and noticed Christina getting closer, her touches growing more intimate. Sam turned to her, mustered his courage, and cupped her chin, kissing her with a mild passion. Christina didn't refuse; she held his cheeks and kissed him back, this time with a fiery fervor. Sam and Christina exchanged heated kisses, with Christina pushing Sam to lie back on the couch while she leaned over him, passionately kissing him.
Sam, in turn, felt the excitement and pressed his body against hers, feeling her passionately. He lifted himself slightly and held her in his arms, kissing her fervently. At that moment, without any warning. Christina movements stopped along with the movie noises …
