"where should I test my skills at? I can't just go to hunting grounds without license and as far as I'm aware of I only know how to punch" packing some extra clothes and a bottle of water still unsure of what my next move would be I put my backpack on and decided that I'll just ask the driver if he knew a place somewhere more safer to practice with.
As soon as I stepped out the building the night greeted me with a cold breeze thankfully I'm wearing a black leather coat that I found inside the cabinet it has some dust on it so the wearer or the owner hasn't been using it for a while now. I'm currently sitting in the bench waiting for the bus the time is 2:34 AM I figured it will arrive anytime now, opening my phone I let the music run in the background while connecting my headset via Bluetooth, I put the headset on and blasted some indie japanese rock music, sure time flies when you're life's falling apart. it's currently 2:40 AM and a yellow bus stopped at where I'm sitting.
"Hoo! Where are you going this early son? Kids like you shouldn't sneak out it's dangerous"
The Bus driver said with a hint of sarcasm.
"Well sir, do you know a place where I could test out my skills? Hunting grounds won't do as I don't have a license." I said stepping inside the bus, it's empty it made me wondered if I'm his first passenger today.
"I know one kiddo, try Yellowstone on shopping district, my son buys some equipment there he said inside that store they have training rooms. my son likes to share his experiences sadly he died while closing a Gate, they never recovered his body but someone said he saw him getting devoured by a S- chimera..." The bus driver continued to spit how sad his life is, honestly I don't really care about any of those I just asked him for a location. Don't get me wrong I'm ever thankful for his help it's just that I've got no time to spare.
We've reached city square and a group of people equipped with heavy armors and weapons can be seen gathered, those hunters are probably hired to clear a dungeon. After paying and thanking the driver I got out of the vehicle and continued my journey on foot.
There's one major problem I forgot, I have no clue on what platform I should head to. The city square is built for fast traveling Government officials with the help of Heroes association placed a total of 10 teleportation stones.
"I'll just ask someone then." I said while approaching the lady standing beside one of the stones.

"Bienvenue, Monsieur how may I help you?" The lady said while smiling, it had caught me off guard.
"I'm thinking of going on shopping district the problem is I don't know what platform I should use " returning the kind gesture I flashed a small smile of my own.
"Uhm I-it's on platform six sirr." The lady's face looked a little red and she started to stutter a little, it's a bit odd but I didn't think much of it. She's probably not comfortable around me so I quickly thanked her and left.
As I stepped on the platform six I couldn't shake off the feeling that I missed something important, I missed..
'Wait! is she into me? I should go back and ask for her num-' the stone had sucked me in before I even got the chance to take a glance at her it's as if the stone knows what I'm after.
Surprisingly the teleportation didn't have any side effects like dizziness I was worried for a second that I might puke and cause a scene. Shopping district was surprisingly bright and already packed with people despite the hour, I thought the streets would be dark as normally the shops are still closed this early. I guess I really am in unfamiliar world.
Squeezing my way in the crowd I finally reached Yellowstone's entrance, I pushed the glass door and was happy that the temperature inside was warm I honestly think f I spent another hour outside I'd catch a cold. The store is huge and have a lot of customers walking around but what caught my attention was how they dressed, I could tell with one glance they're all nobles, rich men and women. I ignored them and minded my own business I know getting mixed up with nobles will be disastrous they're like eagles prideful and flat out stupid.
My plan was to test my skills but since I'm inside a weapon store It won't hurt doing a quick look around, who knows I might find a good weapon that suits me if so I'd buy it tho I'm still unsure what my style would be. I'm considering going for a stealth based style where I mainly focused on short combat range while also able to cover long ranged battle, I'm thinking of buying if not short sword I'd do dagger and a gun or bow Basically I want the assassin style like the one's inside games.
I saw the sign that says where they displayed all the weapons according to it I need to use the escalator or elevator as they're all in 3rd floor while the training room was in underground floor, they should've put both of them at the same floor as it's the wiser idea but then again I'm not the owner plus I think they have a reason that they built it like that. It's just annoying that it's far.
"Hmm how about a mini katana like in monster hunter I think it'd be cool to have at least one of those." I said while scanning around the displayed case searching for a short sword I might fancy.
It's been an hour since I started to search for a weapon that'd suit me but I still haven't found anything that fits my taste, I was giving up and about to leave but I saw a short sword with a simple bamboo as handle. It's price is 13,000 so I decided to bought it as it's better with something than not having anything at all.
