Chapter 1 - Prologue

A little child, barely seven, pulled at her mother's skirt.

"Mamma, I want to be a teacher!"

An year later she was heard telling her grandparents.

"I want to be an astronaut!"

She turned eight, nine, ten years old. But her preference of what she felt would most suit her the most kept changing.

At first, it was because she admired the people around her. She tried to imitate them.

Following that, for many years, the only basis for her choices were how much fun she could have. The limitlessness to exploring the world around her fascinated her.

She entered her teenage years. She began to realize, slowly, that her whimsical desires, born out of a fickle mind would lead her nowhere. She needed an ambition to work on, that would last her for a long time.

It was initially fueled by her desire to earn more than her parents , in the future. Her family did not lack the wealth required to live a good life. But to her, it wasn't enough. Her family provided for her necessities, needs and wants.

But she lacked their love.

In an attempt to earn better amidst the inflating prices, they had barely any time to spend for the family, and what little they had, was spent on her younger sister.

They weren't there when she needed them the most, and their outbursts and arguments had a huge toll on her health.

It wasn't easy having two doctors as her parents.

If this wasn't enough, her school had been closed for nearly an year in her eighth grade, and all her studies during that time were done online. Unable to go out, unable to express herself.

Her creativity stayed hidden during that time.

Being back at school, she began exploring the numerous options she had, the freedom of choosing what she wanted to dedicate her life to was sweet.

Hard decisions, unbearable circumstances. The only thing that helped her survive through them was her need to achieve her goals.

"Ezhil, what do you want to be in the future?" her class teacher asked, while filling out her profile.

"An entrepreneur"

This time, she stuck by her words.
