"Sorry to burst your bubble, young lad, but my daughter won't be with a pretty boy like you to avoid her being heartbroken. I don't approve."
Rex clenched his teeth in anger, kicking the rod away, causing Dad to stumble back. "What makes you think she needs your permission? You were never a good dad, and you never will be. So stop acting like you have any authority over her."
