Chapter 34 - XXXII – Eli’s Choice and the Moriya Party

A/N: Let's continue where we left off.....

June 15, 2021 - Tuesday - 6:00 P.M.

Abandoned Warehouse - Nagano Prefecture

Kuroka POV

I couldn't believe my eyes. I just watched probably one of the most one-sided fights I've ever seen. On one side, Aichi showed a master class in swordsmanship. I'm not a swordsman, but I can see the the movements of a master just by his aura. And the way he killed that one devil by slamming two stone slabs at him, that would be a horrifying way to go.

And as for Riku, the way he dodged the incoming attacks as if he was dancing. And I can sense that he was using a bit of senjutsu. It wasn't much, but it's there. Then when he did a huge lightning laser, I can feel a huge power of divinity coming out of it.

Both of them killed the servants of a maou with little to no effort...is this world's power scaling different from mine? And what is a Celestial? What are the Celestial Families? So many questions needed to be asked....the dome around me started to fade and I can see the two of them walk their way towards me...I can tell they want some answers too. I guess it's fair, since they save my life, I have to answer their questions but.....

Riku: The problem has been dealt with, you're safe now.

Kuroka: T-thank you.....you know, I just kinda accepted my fate here and there if you two didn't show up.

Aichi: Then we're lucky that we got here. Now, we would-

Kuroka: I know you want some answers from me. But can it wait? As you can see....

Riku: Hmm....right. you're all battered up. And I can sense that you have little to no magic left. At this point you'll be knocked out due to mana deficiency. For now, rest.

Kuroka: Thank you....finally...some rest....after 8 years...

I slowly closed my eyes as I let the darkness take me and I finally get a well earned rest.

Riku POV

We looked at the nekomata closed her eyes with a small smile on her face. Me and Aichi heard what she said before she fell to sleep.

Riku: 8 years without rest? How the hell did she manage to stay sane after all of that?

Aichi: Maybe what she meant by that is that she didn't get any good rest for 8 years. And by the looks of those devils we faced, I think they were hunting her.

Riku: That makes sense. With all the bruises on her body....and the scars as well...

Aichi: What're we gonna do now?

Riku: I'll take her to Eirin-san.

Aichi: How?

Riku: She gave me a teleportation coupon which I can use to teleport to where she is right now. She gave me this when I was at the Eientei last week.

Aichi: I see. You can take Kuroka and go. I'll take care of things here.

Riku: Okay. Just be careful alright?

Aichi nodded as I tried to carry Kuroka on my back. I ripped the coupon and teleport to where Eirin-san is.

Yagokoro Villa - Tokyo

7:00 P.M.

We manage to safely teleport at the Yagokoro Villa. This villa is one of the few private homes that the Yagokoro have in Tokyo. And the reason why Eirin-san is here, is because it's near to where Kaguya lives. I knocked on the door and as I wait for someone to open. After a few seconds, the door opened and it was Eirin-san and as she saw me with Kuroka on my back, she showed a face of worry.

Eirin: Riku, why are you here? And who is she?

Riku: You felt the magic surge earlier right?

Eirin: I did. Don't tell me-

Riku: Yeah, it was her. But Aichi will show you the details at a later time. Right now, she needs some medical attention.

Eirin: I can see that. She's all beaten up. Let's take her to one of the patient rooms.

I followed Eirin-san inside as we head to one of the rooms for patients. Udongein was here as well as she helped me with laying down Kuroka. Eirin-san told us to wait outside as she tries to do a check on her, leaving me and Udongein outside.

Udongein: Riku, what happened there? And to think that you rescued a nekomata to boot.

Riku: Aichi will send a report later on, you'll be able to see the details from there. But one things for sure, whoever they were, they want her dead....

Udongein: That bad huh? So, did she tell her name?

Riku: She did say her name is Kuroka.

Udongein: Hmmmmmm~

The hallway got quiet a bit, but I decided to talk about one certain topic.

Riku: Udongein....about what happened at the Eientei a few days ago.

Udongein: Oh that? I know it's completely understandable from your side. So I decided to take one for the team...that means that you owe me one.

Riku: I know. Just tell me what you want and I'll do what I can.

As we finished talking, Eirin-san got out of the room with a worrying face.

Udongein: Sensei, what're the results?

Eirin: Not good. She had multiple bone fractures around her body, which will require surgery where I estimate that it'll take at least 5 hours and taking her body structure out of consideration, she's heavily malnourished. And I can see that she's a nekomata as well, and a very powerful one.

Riku: She did say before she fell asleep that she finally gets to rest after 8 years.

Eirin: 8 years.....that is worrying. I can also sense that she has little magic power in her body.

Udongein: I think she was using her magic to sustain herself from hunger. With her magic drained, the malnourishment is showing signs.

Eirin: True....but regardless, the surgery still continues. I called the few rabbits that we have to take her to the operating room. Udongein, you'll be helping me with the operation.

Udongein: Hai!

Eirin: Riku. If it's okay with you, I-

Riku: Don't need to ask. You want me to help you with the operation, right?

Eirin: I was about to say it, but since you have school tomorrow, I-

Riku: I'll help. I brought her here, and It's my responsibility. And with me helping you, her chance of surviving will be guaranteed.

Eirin: Thank you...Riku. The two of you get ready. Meet me at the operating room.

Riku/Udongein: Hai!!

Me and Udongein went ahead to the changing room as we changed from our casual clothes to the clothes that they use for surgery. After a few minutes, we head to the operating room as Eirin-san is waiting for us inside.

Eirin: Glad that you made it. Kuroka-san's vitals are stable, she's good to go for the surgery to begin. Both of you, to your places.

Me and Udongein went to our places as I was at Eirin-san's let and Udongein was at my right.

Eirin: Riku, you will check the vitals to the clock and tell me if something goes wrong. Udongein, you will help me from time to time, assist Riku if you can.

Riku/Udongein: Hai.

Eirin: Good. Scalpel.

Udongein took a scalpel from the table as she passed it on to Eirin-san. She took a deep breath as the operation begins.

One surgery later......….

June 16, 2021 - Wednesday - 2:30 A.M.

The surgery took longer than I anticipated. The bones pierced the majority of her internal organs. Despite not going all the way through, it caused some damage. Taking the bone out of the organs required very sturdy hands and exquisite precision, and I believe if I hadn't been there to assist Eirin-san, the surgery would have taken longer to complete.

But in the end, with my help we manage to finish the surgery. I looked at my watch and it's already 2:30 in the morning....

Riku: Fuck. It's late.....way too late.

Eirin: I apologize that it took longer than expected.

Riku: It's okay...but still...it took us that long to finish.

Udongein: That's how surgeries go Riku. And look at the bright side, Kuroka-san is gonna be fine.

Eirin: Udongein's right. We managed to save her life and that's all that matters.

I looked at the Kuroka who was lying on the bed who just had surgery. I sighed as I asked Eirin-san how long till she wakes up.

Riku: So, do you have an estimate on when she'll wake up?

Eirin: That depends on her body. The best that I can guess is that she'll be able to wake up the day after the party at the Moriya. And remember, you did say that she hasn't had any proper rest for 3 years. She'll be resting for a long while.

Riku: I see.....I gotta go. It's way too late.....and it's a bad idea to drive the Universe Ring at this hour....might as well teleport myself home.

Eirin: I think it's for the best. Don't worry, I'll vouch for you for your use of a teleportation spell since you helped me with something important.

Riku: Thanks. I'll be heading out now.

Both Udongein and Eirin-san nodded as I left the villa. I summoned the Universe Ring and took a seat as I casted the teleportation spell as I teleport back to the estate.

Nagae Estate

As I teleported back to the estate, I immediately took the Universe Ring to the garage. And after that, I went straight to my room as I took a quick shower and head to bed so I can get some sleep. As for my morning routine, I'll skip it for now.

Riku: Right now....I need some rest....and I have P.E. class today.

With that being said, I closed my eyes as I try to get some well needed sleep.

3 and a half hours later

6:00 A.M.

I opened my eyes and got out of bed. I got at least 3 hours of sleep. It'll do for now...gotta get ready and-

As I try to get out of bed, the door opened and I see Ayabe entering the room.

Ayabe: Riku-sama, you've returned.

Riku: Good morning, Ayabe. Yeah I came back 2:30 in the morning. The surgery was that long.

Ayabe: I see. Oyakata-sama did tell us that you'll be coming home late, but I didn't expect for you to be home that late.

Riku: I know.....but I did got some rest.

Ayabe: True. Unlike your sleep schedule while you were with OG, this is much more tame.

Riku: That I cannot deny. Can you go and tell my grandfather that I came back? I'm gonna get ready for school.

Ayabe: By your command, Riku-sama.

Ayabe left the room as I took out my spare uniform as I suit up for school.

Nagae Estate - Dining Hall

6:15 A.M.

As I changed to my uniform, I headed to the dining hall. As I entered, The girls are already there. Rinko and Miyu were surprised that I was here.

Rinko: Riku, you're here. When did you get home?

Riku: I came home at 2:30.

Miyu: That late? What took you so long to come home?

Riku: I had to help Eirin-san with her surgery.

Rinko/Miyu: Surgery?

Mafuyu stopped eating as she turned her focus on me. Maybe it's because she heard that I helped Eirin-san with her operation.

Riku: Well, something happened in Nagano yesterday. We encountered a woman who is bloodied up real bad and we had to take her to Eirin-san's place to help her up. But since the place was understaffed, Eirin-san asked me to help her along with Udongein.

Mafuyu: You helped Eirin-san with the operation?

Riku: I did. I might not have some experience in the medical field, but I do know the ins and outs of it. Me and Udongein just helped Eirin-san as she did the rest.

Tina: What did you operated on?

Riku: Multiple organ ruptures and multiple bone fractures. It was a miracle that she was still alive.

Mafuyu: It was that bad? I'm surprised that you manage to finish the surgery with just you three.

Riku: It was hard. But we pulled it through.

Miyu: Do you have a picture of the woman in question?

Riku: I do.....I did take a picture of her right before I left. Good thing we got her cleaned up right before I took it.

I took out my phone and showed the picture of the woman to the girls. And they were surprised to how beautiful she was. But they noticed the cat ears and tail from Kuroka.

Rinko: Riku, are those ears and tail....

Riku: Yes, they're real. She's a nekomata.

Miyu: So she's a youkai. And she's well developed too.

As we wait for our breakfast to arrive, my phone rang and it was a message from Aichi.

Miyu: Who was it, Riku-san?

Riku: It's Aichi. He sent me a message that later in the afternoon, he'll be visiting Hanasakigawa along with Eli and Nozomi.

Rinko: The student council president and vice-president of Otonokizaka? Why would they come to our school?

Riku: Well they want to ask something from you. Since you're the student council president and all.

Rinko: Hmmmm...me and Sayo-san might be able to meet with them, since Yukina-san told us that we can take the week off.

Riku: That's great. I'll send my reply to Aichi about your answer.

As I was sending Rinko's answer to Aichi, Youmu along with Kazehana, Sakurako and Nazuna arrived.

Youmu: Breakfast is serv- Riku-kun, you're back. Looks like Kyoya-sama was spot on with his prediction.

Riku: He knew that I'll come home very late?

Kazehana: He did. He informed this to the other staff that you'll be back very late and we complied.

Riku: No wonder that the lights in the estate were still on when I got back.

Sakurako: Yup. And it'll damage the electric bill a bit. By the way Riku-sama, what happened at Nagano?

Riku: Well, Aichi gave me something. Something Tenshi owned. If you want to see it, it's in the garage. Aizawa might be looking at it right now. But first, let's get some breakfast; we've got a long day ahead of us.

To my words, Kazehana, Sakurako and Nazuna served our breakfast and Youmu joined us as she's also dressed up in her uniform. As the food was served, the three maids took a step back as we began eating breakfast.

Hanasakigawa Girls High School - Class 3-A

7:20 A.M.

After breakfast, we went to the garage, and the girls were blown away by the design of the Universe Ring. When I informed them Tenshi was the one who did it, they were even more impressed. To be safe, I didn't tell them about the Sakuradite inside. I decided to take the REZVANI today because Remi's transportation had already finished from maintenance.

We headed to Arisugawa first to drop off Miyu there, and once we got there, we were greeted by Haruna and her friends. And after dropping her off, we head our way to Hanasakigawa.

Kaguya was in our classroom when Rinko and I arrived. As we greeted each other, she inquired about yesterday's events. I told her I will fill her in on the specifics over lunch. After telling her that, I started working on the schoolwork I didn't even touched the day before. Luckily, I already knew the majority of the answers, so I got to work quickly jotting them down.

I felt Sayo, Chisato and Kanon enter the room and they seemed to notice me. But I decided to ignore them as I was busy with my homework.

Sayo: Is Riku-san.....doing his homework here? To think that someone like Riku-san is the type that crams his homework.

Kaguya: That ain't the case, Sayo. Riku here had something that needed his full attention yesterday and came home very late.

Chisato: And he's answering those questions in a fast pace.....don't you think that he'll get something wrong if he goes at this pace?

Kaguya: If Riku is laser focused on something, no way in hell he'll get something wrong.

After Kaguya finished explaining, I closed my notebooks and let out a deep breath.

Riku: Finally finished....Oh. Sayo, Chisato, Kanon. Good morning.

Chisato: Good morning to you as well, onii-sama. I see that you rushed your homework.

Riku: Something important happened yesterday. And I had to help Eirin-san in a very important matter. But in the meantime, can you double check this? I want to see if I got everything right.

Chisato and the others took their seat as I passed them my notebooks as they checked if the answers I put in my homework were correct. After a short while, I saw Sayo's hand shaking.

Sayo: Unbelievable....all answers are correct.....how were you able to answer all of these correct in a short amount of time?

Sayo returned my notebook to me as I gave her my answer without hurting her pride.

Riku: Well....I already know the topic on the homework was...you know that I'm home schooled right? And being the next head of the Nagae, the level of education that I had to go through is considered high.

Sayo: I see.....I understand.....

Chisato: But make sure that this won't turn into a new habit of yours, onii-sama.

Riku: I won't. This is just a one time.

Kaguya: So, what happened at Nagano? You did say that Aichi wanted to give you something, right?

Riku: He did. He wanted to give me this.

I took out my phone and showed them a picture of the Universe Ring that Aichi gave me.

Riku: This is what Aichi wanted to give me, that is the Universe Ring.

Kaguya: So Tenshi really finished it.

Sayo: Tenshi-san made that?

Riku: Tenshi may be full of ego, but she's a literal motorcycle maniac. I mean she has a collection of motorcycles back at Nagano. The Universe Ring is one of the fully customized motorcycles that she made.

Kanon: But how can she make that despite being so young?

Kaguya: You can say that Tenshi is that talented in terms of machines. I mean Tenshi has a hold of the country's motorcycle manufacturing companies, so she can get some parts from those companies and make her own motorcycles. But since she passed away, Aichi took her place.

I can see the girls' eyes widen, especially Rinko. She already knew that the Hinanawi runs the country's department of education, but adding that the Hinanawi has a hold of Japan's motorcycle manufacturing companies is something she didn't expect.

Sayo: Does the Celestial Families have a hold in mostly everything in Japan?

Riu: Not all of them, though. However, if we have a grip on a particular business or franchise, we grant them complete freedom as long as they stay within our set boundaries. I won't get into the details of the punishment they'll face if they exceed the limit.

Sayo: I see. Then what about you? I took the time and research on what the Nagae does, and I found out that the Nagae is in charge of the department of food an agriculture.

Both Chisato and Kanon looked at me with eyes wide open and I just nodded. Then I decided to drop the bomb on them as well.

Riku: Well, you're not wrong about that. And the Nagae also owns Pantasia as well.....well....mostly under my name.

Chisato: You own what now?

Kanon: Pantasia?

Rinko: It's the biggest bakery chain in Japan. From what Riku told me last weekend, he became the owner due to him winning a shokugeki years ago.

Chisato: HE DID WHAT NOW?!

Kanon: A shokugeki? What's that?

Kaguya: It's a tradition in the Totsuki Academy. Where you will face in a cook off where you put something on the line. And since Pantasia is still standing, I can tell that Riku won that. So, what did you won in that shokugeki? I didn't get any info more than that you were fighting on behalf of Pantasia.

Riku: Aside from getting Pantasia.....I also got 100 billion yen.

Chisato/Kanon/Sayo: 100 BILLION YEN?!?!?!

Our classmates turned around to see what was the ruckus, but Kaguya told them that it was nothing to worry about.

Riku: Yeah. But I can't accept the full 100 billion, so I decided to give 40% of it to Pantasia as funds to expand the franchise.

Sayo: Unbelievable....to think you won 100 billion yen...wait a minute...you said that you gave away 40 billion...which means you still have 60 billion.....if you convert it into dollars.....

Kaguya: Riku's networth is at least 380 million in dollars as of now.

Kaguya's words shook the girls to their core. As they also remembered the rules in Okina-sama's plan.

Chisato: Then that means....you can get at least-

Riku: Yeah. And aside from Rinko and Miyu, I already know the other two. As to who they are, I'm not gonna tell you.....for their own sakes. You'll find out sooner or later though. But for now, let's get ready, class is about to start.

And right on cue, the teacher arrived to the class with a few minutes before the bell started. And it was not our homeroom teacher...but our P.E. teacher, and I can fell Kaguya isn't liking this.....but I do. Our P.E. teacher is Kuzehashi Shinoa, a former Olympic track and fielder that has won several medals aside from gold back in her days. As to why she's working here as a teacher, Yuyuko-san recruited her.

Rinko: Kuzehashi-sensei? Why are you here so early, there is still time before the bell rings.

Shinoa: Well, I came here early to inform Nagae-kun something.

Riku: Is there something you need to tell me, sensei?

Shinoa: Yup. I got a report from Yuyuko-san that Houraisan-san's physical ability's are...a bit below average. Normally she would ask me to put her in shape, but she recommended you to do it.

Riku: So you want me to keep an eye on Kaguya while you take care of the rest?

Shinoa: That sums it up. And Yuyuko-san told me that you should hold back on her.

My classmates were confused to Kuzehashi-sensei's words, then one of them asked what she meant by that.

Student 1: Sensei. What do you mean by Riku-san has to hold back?

Shinoa: Well, you're about to see it soon. Nagae-kun, head to the changing room to get changed and meet us at the field. Everybody else, go and change here.

I stood up from my seat and took my P.E. uniform as I left the classroom. And before I leave, I Called Kaguya to assure her that I won't be that harsh.

Riku: Oi, Kaguya! Don't worry, I'll hold back a bit. I don't want Eirin-san hunting me down if I accidentally killed you.

My classmates shivered as I left the room. And I can tell that Kaguya is scared...well...let's just see what happens.

A few hours later........

Hanasakigawa Girls High School - Student Council Office

3:30 P.M.

Rinko POV

Today's P.E. class was very interesting...us girls were with Kuzehashi-sensei giving us the usual drills that we do.....I made so much progress, even sensei was impressed by it. And it's all thanks to Riku giving me some advice.

And speaking of Riku, we saw Riku was shouting to Kaguya-san like a drill sergeant as Kaguya-san was running the field as if she was about to collapse. But when Riku went quiet a bit and as if he was talking to Kaguya-san, we saw Kaguya was running as if she was running for her life and we saw that she has that fire in her eyes. 

And after half an hour of running, she collapsed and she was brought to the infirmary, making her miss the rest of the morning class and Riku made sure that he makes some notes for her.

We're at the student council office with Sayo-san and Ichigaya-san. Riku is also here as well. Right now, we're waiting for Aichi-san and the student council of Otonokizaka to arrive.

Sayo: Rinko, you told us that there is someone will be coming here to see us, right?

Rinko: I did, and they should be here any moment now.

Arisa: Then why is Riku-san here?

Riku: Let's just say that I'll be needed for this case.

Rinko: Riku, about what happened during our P.E. class, we saw Kaguya-san was about to collapse, then all of a sudden she ran like someone lit a fire in her. What did you do?

Riku: Well, I told Kaguya that if she ran the whole 20 laps around the track, then I'll convince Eirin-san to give her another "Once in a lifetime request".

Arisa: A "Once in a lifetime request"? What's that?

Riku: Right.....you don't know.....Rinko, Sayo, Arisa. I trust you that you won't tell a soul on what I'm about to say.

Me and the other girls were a bit scared to what Riku is about to say, but since he said that it's that confidential, we just nodded and Riku continued his explanation.

Riku: The reason with the "Once in a lifetime" is that both Kaguya and Eirin are immortal.

Rinko: Eh?

Sayo: Eh?

Arisa: Hah?

What did he say? Kaguya-san and Eirin-san are immortal? But how?

Rinko: Riku....are you sure?

Sayo: Like that is possible. There is no way that Houraisan-san is immortal.

Arisa: And where's the proof?

Riku: Actually, I got a video that Genji-sama gave me when I came back from Stockholm. It was the same time when the Future World Fes Finals started and the reports say that there were multiple explosions occurring on the streets of Nagano. Here, take a look.

Riku showed us the video and it was Kaguya-san fighting against a girl with long white hair who is literally covered in fire. The three of us covered our mouths as we saw the white haired girl have several holes in her body and Kaguya-san has her leg and arm burned off. Their injuries are more than enough to kill a normal person. But what shocked us is that the injuries that hey had were slowly fading away.

Rinko: Riku....what happened to them? 

Riku: I told you they're immortal. The girl that Kaguya was fighting is Fujiwara Mokou. Aside from manipulating fire, she has the power of the phoenix inside of her.

Sayo: That makes her immortal.....what about Kaguya-san? Do all Lunarians have immortality as well?

Riku: No. Kaguya's immortality came from something else. As for the full details, it's better to ask Kaguya than me. This is a sensitive topic for her.

Arisa: Well if you say that, then we can't force you to say anything else. Then what about the once in a lifetime request? How does it work?

Riku: Ah, right. How that request works is that she can ask Eirin-san for anything she wants and Eirin-san will do it. I think she used that request to let her get all the available retro games that can still be played. Then 6 years ago, Kaguya asked Eirin-san that there is a limited edition console that she wanted to get and she wanted to have another once in a lifetime request.....but...

Rinko: But?

Riku: Well.......

Flashback (several years ago)

Kaguya: Buy this for me! It's a once in a lifetime request!

Kaguya was holding a limited edition console, but Eirin refused as she reminded her that she already used her request.

Eirin: You already used that last year!

Without even thinking, Kaguya grabbed a knife and stabbed herself in the gut, shocking Eirin as Kaguya went down to the floor.

Eirin: What the hell did you do that for?!?!

Kaguya: I just died! So my life is reset, right?

Kaguya said as she lets out a prideful smile with blood on her mouth.

End of Flashback

Riku: And that's what happened.

Rinko/Sayo/Arisa: THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS!!!!

Riku: I know right? That's what I said to her when she told me that. But anyway, since Kaguya did what I told her, I have to uphold the end of the bargain. I'll convince Eirin-san to give her another once in a lifetime request. Girls get ready, here they are.

To Riku's words, the door opened and it was Aichi-san along with Toujou-san and Ayase-san who is currently spacing out right now.

Rinko: Welcome to Hanasakigawa, Aichi-san, Toujou-san, Ayase-san.

Aichi: Hm. we're glad that we got permission to come inside. And thank you for having the time for us.

Sayo: So you're the ones that Rinko told us about.

Arisa: What brings the Otonokizaka student council here?

Nozomi: Well, we're here to ask you for a favor.

Sayo: A favor?

Aichi: Yes, a favor. You see, Love Live is about to start next month.

Arisa: Love Live?

Riku: It's a competition for idols all around Japan. Take it as the Professional Band Circuit, but for Idols. And whoever wins Love Live, will get an invite to participate in WORLDS.

(A/N: I know that Love Live is for School Idols in the original, but I decided to have it as a qualifier for Japan for their ticket to WORLDS)

Aichi: Thank you for your candid explanation, Riku. But, anyhow, Love Live begins next month, and the regulations for the first round are that, aside from the song that the idols will perform, the site of our performance must be outside of our area and not in places where they have already performed.

Rinko: If I remember, Otonokizaka is near the Akiba area....right?

Aichi: Exactly. And all of μ's performances through spring are all in the Akiba area. And they have no other places to hold our performance.

Nozomi: That's when Aichi's idea came to place. The rule stated that we cannot perform in our own area, but it did say that we can perform any place, as long as it's in our designated prefecture.

Aichi: That's why we're here. Rinko-san, as the manager of μ's, can we use Hanasakigawa as the location of our performance?

When Aichi-san said that, me, Sayo-san and Ichigaya-san got to thinking. Whether we let them perform here or not. I turned to Riku and he just nodded at us, he's telling me that this must be our decision. I looked at Sayo-san and Ichigaya-san one more time, as I gave them my answer.

Rinko: As the student council president of Hanasakigawa, I'll allow you to perform here.

Sayo: Rinko...

Arisa: Rinko-senpai...

Rinko: On one condition.

Ayase-san who recollected herself stepped forward, as a fellow student council president, she has to speak on their behalf as well.

Eli: Condition? Is there something that you want from us?

Rinko: Not from Otonokizaka nor from μ's. I want to have a talk with you Ayase-san....alone.

The atmosphere became heavy as I looked straight on Ayase-san. Understanding this, Riku got up from his seat and reached to the door.

Riku: Let's do what Rinko says. You got your wish, but for that to happen, Rinko wants to have a talk with Eli.

Arisa: Is there something wrong between them?

Riku: No, more like she wanted to confirm something.

Sayo: I see now. Very well, we'll leave you two alone. Let's go, Ichigaya-san.

Sayo-san got up from her seat as she followed Riku. Seeing that, Ichigaya-san followed in a panicked tone.

Arisa: W-W-Wait for me!!!

Ichigaya-san left the room and only Aichi-san along with Toujou-san and Ayase-san remained.

Aichi: Nozomi, let's leave them alone for now.

Nozomi: Aichi, is it what I think it is?

Aichi: Yes, it is.

Nozomi: Alright, we'll leave. Elicchi, good luck.

Ayase-san nodded silently as the two left, leaving me and Ayase-san behind. Ayase-san took a seat as we stared at each other for a short while. Ayase-san decided to break the silence by thanking me for letting them perform in our school.

Eli: Shirokane-san, I thank you for letting us perform here. Not as the student council president, but as a member of μ's.

Rinko: It's alright. I mean it's kinda a breath of fresh air that another idol group gets to perform here aside from PasuPare. And please, call me Rinko.

Eli: Then you can call me Eli as well, Rinko. Since we're both acquainted with Riku, I think it's fair for both of us to call each other by our first names.

Rinko: True. Eli-san, the reason why I asked to have you stay here...it's because it has something to do with Riku.

Eli-san looked down as she understood what I was talking about. She closed her eyes and looked at me with a serious expression.

Eli: So he told you about that, didn't he?

Rinko: He did. And to be honest, I didn't expect that you of all people would confess to him straight up.

Eli: So what now? Are you gonna tell me to stay away from him since you're engaged to him?

Rinko: Actually the opposite. I want you to be with Riku.

Eli: Eh?

Eli-san's eyes widened when I told her that she can have a relationship with Riku.

Eli: Rinko, are you okay in the head?

Rinko: I am. And I'm dead serious on what I said earlier. Eli-san, be honest with me. You still love Riku, don't you?

Eli: I......I do...even though a year has passed.....I still can't get over him...I just can't....

Rinko: He really made an impact on your life, didn't he?

Eli: He did. Despite the fact that I pushed him away the first time we met, he never gave up, and we gradually got along. He helped me in overcoming my dislike of men. And he was my first real male friend aside from my cousins. And there was no one I could replace him with. But as the days passed, my feelings for him gradually changed. My heart races whenever we're together, and I can't take my gaze away from him. Even though he is quiet at times, I feel safe when he is around me. But when TI10 was about to roll.

Rinko: You confessed to him.

Eli: Yes.....that. It took all of my courage to confess to him. I was ready to accept whatever his answer was. But I didn't expect that he would calmly reject me.

Rinko: Calmly? Right.....Riku did tell me that he shared his side on why he rejected you.

Eli: He was. He did his best to explain without hurting my feelings...but the rejection was enough....and despite that...I can't seem to despise him. Even though he rejected me....I can't stop myself to love him. And when he said we could still be friends, I assumed it was for the best, so I just went with it, and everything was going well. But when Aichi told us Riku got engaged a few days earlier, my heart broke. The one I loved had already been claimed by another woman. I was prepared to move on from Riku, but.....

Rinko: He mentioned the plan, right?

Eli: He did include that. When he read through the rules of the plan, it got me into thinking. A part of me wanted to use this chance to be with him and be happy, and the other part tells me to give up on him and move on...I just...I don't know what to do...tell me.....Rinko...what should I do?

I looked at Eli-san who is desperately asking for my answer. I can't help but feel sorry for her. Her feelings for Riku are so strong that she can't move on. Now an opportunity has presented itself for her to make her wish come true, but her sense of morality prevents her from doing so. It saddens me to see her like this.

I got up from my seat as I approached Eli-san. She didn't seem to notice me, but she realized that I was right in front of her when I held both of her hands.

Eli: R-Rinko?

Rinko: Eli-san, I think you should do it.

Eli: Do what?

Rinko: Join me.....in Riku's.....harem....

Eli: Eh? EHHHHHHHHHHHHH?! What do you mean by that?!

Rinko: Because I want you to be happy, Eli-san. By joining me and Miyu-chan, you can pursue your happiness once again, and you can finally move on. And Riku would be happy if you joined.

Eli: Riku...would be happy?

Rinko: He did. But in the end, it'll have to be your decision. If you accept, Riku, Miyu-chan and I will welcome you with open arms, if you chose otherwise, then we'll respect your decision.

Eli: So in the end...I still have to decide, huh?

Rinko: Yes....at the end of the day, it is your decision to make...and make sure that the choices that you make is something that you won't regret.

Eli: Something that I won't regret...I....I think I know what to do now....I'll do it.

Rinko: Are you sure? Once you take that path, there'll be no turning back.

Eli: I know. For years, I've been doing things that other people tell me to. But now....I have to make my own choices. And this is my choice.

Rinko: I understand, then I think we're done here. Come on, let's head out and find Ri-

Before I finished my sentence, the door opened and we see Riku enter the room. But Sayo-san, Ichigaya-san, Aichi-san and Nozomi-san weren't with him

Rinko: R-Riku? You're back. Where are Sayo-san and Ichigaya-san?

Eli: And Aichi and Nozomi aren't with you too. Where are they?

Riku: Well, in Sayo's case, Hina showed up here and dragged her sister. As for Arisa, Kasumi dragged her away so they can practice for their live on Friday. And for Nozomi and Aichi.....they ditched you.

Eli: THEY DID WHAT?!?

Riku: You can punish them later or tomorrow. But moving on, I take that you've sorted things out?

Rinko: We did. Eli-san wanted to say something very important to you.

Eli: Riku.....I....about the confession that I made to you a year ago...I-

Few hours later....

Live House CiRCLE

4:30 P.M.

Riku POV

I was surprised by what happened earlier. I expected that Eli would try to confess her feelings to me again in a week or two, but I didn't expect her to act now. Despite the fact that I rejected her a year ago, it appears that her affections for me have not faded, and to be honest, I was relieved that she kept them. And it appears that Rinko convinced her to do it.

After hearing Eli's intentions to join my relationship with Rinko and Miyu, and receiving Rinko's consent, I embraced Eli with open arms, and she hugged me tightly as if she didn't want to let go. Rinko was watching us with a warm smile on her face, showing that she approved of this from the start.

After we broke the hug, Rinko asked Eli if we could arrange a meeting with her family and mine, but Eli said we didn't need the meeting because I already had consent from the Ayase Family, which startled me. I asked her how I received their approval without knowing it, and she told me that I got it when I beat Miposhka at TI10, which surprised both me and Rinko.

Eli told us that if I want to marry a member of the Ayase Family, I must first defeat the eldest relative of the person I intend to date, which is Miposhka, her eldest cousin. Now I understand why he was overjoyed when I defeated Team Spirit in the finals. I'll have a good chat with him when he and his band arrive once TI11 starts.

After she explained, I told her that, according to Nagae tradition, Eli must move in with us to the estate, which she understood. She intends to tell her family about what happened when she returns, so I provided her the complete specifics of Okina-sama's plan to show her parents. And I'll tell grandfather and Miyu about it when I get home.

After that, Eli went back home, while Rinko and I headed to CiRCLE. When we arrived, we could hear some crashing inside the live house. Rinko and I hurried inside to investigate the commotion. When we arrived at the scene, we saw Kokoro, Kaoru, Kanon, and Hagumi on top of Misaki, who was currently unconscious.

Riku: What are you five doing?

I asked Kokoro and her friends in a dark and menacing tone. Then Kokoro and Kaoru began to shake in fear as they got off up and plead their case.

Kokoro: O-O-Onii-chan....it's not what it looks like...it's just an accident...

Kaoru: Kokoro is right, ani-sama. Like she said, it's just an accident.....

As the two explained that it was an accident, I looked at Kanon and Hagumi to see if they were telling the truth, and the two girls were nodding their heads fast.

Riku: Since Kanon and Hagumi said that it was indeed an accident, I'll let it slide...but I need to hear Misaki's side to make sure.

I nodded at Rinko as she makes her way to Misaki. She knelt down as she lightly slapped Misaki's face. And after a few light slaps, Misaki began to wake up.

Misaki: ....what happened? Riku-san? Shirokane-senpai?

Riku: Glad that you're awake, Misaki. Now, I want to hear your side of the story as to what happened while I was not here.

Misaki: Ah that....well me and the girls were trying to catch Kokoro who was trying to do a 450 back flip, but the ceiling is a bit too low, she hit her head and she crashed on us.

Riku: And tell me why is she trying to do a 450 back flip?

Hagumi: Well, it's for the performance that we will be doing at the Phoenix Wonderland. We were planning to practice it at Kokoron's place, but she insisted that we should do our practice here.

I let out a loud sigh as I hear their reasons. I looked at Hello, Happy World as I gave them and their punishment.

Riku: Now that I understand the situation.....as for your punishment, your band will clean the entire live house for the rest of the weekdays.

The girls sighed a bit as the punishment that I gave them, but I decided to punish Kokoro for going a bit overboard.

Riku: As for you Kokoro, no hugs until next week.

Kokoro froze in place as I said what her punishment was. Then out of desperation, she clung on to my leg as she was begging for me to take off her punishment.

Kokoro: NO, ONII-CHAN! PLEASE!! ANYTHING BUT THAT!!! I CAN'T START MY DAY WITHOUT YOUR HUGS!!!

Riku: Consider this as your punishment, Kokoro. You've become a bit of a loose cannon these days, learn some self control. Until next week, you're not allowed to do any acrobatics as well. Use this time to reflect, do you understand?

Kokoro: Hai.....

Kokoro looked down with a defeated atmosphere. I know that the punishment that I gave her is a harsh one for her, but it's for her own good. As her big brother, I don't want her to overwork herself.

Riku: Don't look so down alright? How about this, if you do what I said until the end of this week, I'll let you pick who you want to face in your next danmaku battle.

As I said that, her gloomy expression faded and was replaced with excitement in an instant.

Kokoro: Really? You'll do that?

Riku: I promise.

Kokoro: I'll do it!! No hugs and acrobatics for the rest of the week!! I can do that easy!!

Seeing Kokoro in high spirits made me chuckle a bit. Misaki, Kanon and Hagumi turned to me as they don't know what we were talking about.

Misaki: Riku-san, what did you do to make Kokoro so happy? Just a second ago, she was all depressed.

Riku: Well, I promised that Kokoro can choose anyone she wants to fight in a danmaku battle.

Hagumi: What is a danmaku battle, Rikkun? Yuyuko-san did tell us about that one and that's about it.

Riku: Danmaku battles are essentially a battle in a barrage of bullets, in which you dodge all incoming bullets as you approach your opponent and return fire. Danmaku battles were once a common method of resolving problems between youkai, and they are still used that way today. However, in the current day and age, we employ danmaku battles as a type of sport or to spar with one another. And danmaku battles aren't your normal fight to the death, as all danmaku are set non-lethal, albeit being hit by one will still hurt.

Kanon: Remilia-san did say that you were a good fighter. How many wins do you have now?

Riku: Currently? I have at least 57 wins under my belt. And I'm currently at the Relic Rank.

Rinko: You have classes in danmaku battles?

Riku: Of course. I mean, to make things fair for everyone, we're divided into ranks. These ranks indicate how strong we are in battle. And it is separated into five ranks, ranging from lowest to highest. The ranks are as follows: General, Premium, Ultra, Relic, Epic. Whereas the General rank is the lowest rank and the Epic the highest.

Kaoru: And you said that you belong to the Relic Rank, that means you're at the second highest rank. Tell me ani-sama, how does one promote from one rank to another?

Riku: In a danmaku battle, one thing we all value the most, and that is the winning streak. When you accomplish a specific victory streak, you will be promoted to the next rank. However, once promoted to the following rank, your winning streak is reset to zero.

The girls winced as they realized how harsh the rules of a danmaku battle was.

Misaki: That's kinda harsh. Resetting the streak that you worked hard for.

Riku: That's just the way we roll. Victory is all that matters. To be promoted to Premium Rank, a General Rank player must win at least ten consecutive matches. To advance to Ultra Rank, Premium Rank players must win 25 consecutive wins. To qualify for Relic Rank, they must win 50 consecutive matches. Then, when you reach Relic, the hard part begins.

Hagumi: The hard part?

Riku: To advance from Relic to Epic, you must achieve 100 consecutive wins. When you complete the 100-win streak, you are given the opportunity to challenge one of the Celestial Families' leaders and survive their attacks for 30 minutes.

The girls paled white when they heard the absurd rule of the Relic Rank. Rinko looked at me with concern as she knows that I'm currently halfway the win requirement.

Kaoru: And you have 57 right now...you're halfway there....

Riku: Yup. Once I win 100 battles and survived the onslaught of a family head, then I'll be able to reach the Epic Rank. Once I reached that, I'll have the the authority to officiate an official danmaku battle.

Misaki: What's the requirement to stay in that class?

Riku: Well, from what Yuyuko-san told me, you just need to beat a fellow family head at least three times a year. if you lose at least two of those fights, then you'll be demoted back into the Relic Rank.

Misaki: And you have to win 100 times in a row again.....talk about hardcore...

Hagumi: Is there an alternative than the win-streak requirement?

Riku: There is, but it's the hardest one. If one wants to advance to the next rank faster, then one needs to beat 10 fighters that is above your rank. In my case, I have to beat 10 Epic Rank fighters if I want to advance to Epic. That was the path that I took to reach the Relic Rank.

Kanon: To think that danmaku battles were that deep....Riku-kun, you said that Kokoro-chan made her debut. What's Kokoro-chan's current rank?

Riku: That I don't know yet. If I was to judge her....from the firepower of her spells and her gimmicks in danmaku, in my opinion, Kokoro can be classified as an Ultra Rank.

Rinko: That's quite high for her, Riku.

Riku: Nah, I think it's the appropriate rank. I mean she shattered 2 of my barriers in just one spell. But the final deliberation of your class will be decided during the gathering at August. But for now, Kokoro can only fight in we can call scrimmages.

Kokoro: So I won't be able to have an official match in 2 more months?

Riku: Unfortunately so. But for now, you can use the scrims as experience right before you make your official match.

Kokoro: Alright...just remember your promise, onii-chan.

Riku: I will keep my promise. But for now, please clean this room. Cause the more I see it, it feels like that a storm just hit this room. And if you need me, I'll be at my office with Rinko.

As I said that, me and Rinko left the studio so they can start cleaning, while we head to my office.

Later.....

Nagae Estate - Kyoya's Office

8:30 P.M.

3rd POV

After Kokoro and her friends finished cleaning the mess they made their way to Riku's office and told him that they're going home. And several minutes after that, Riku finished his work with the help of Rinko. After they left the live house and returned to the estate.

When the two returned home, they had dinner with Miyu, Mafuyu and Tina. Kyoya also joined as he had free time.

After dinner, Riku told his grandfather that he has something important to say, and it would be better to discuss it in his office. Which leads to the present.

Riku is at his grandfather's office. As for Rinko and Miyu, they're at their rooms finishing their homework.

Riku began to tell the details in regards to Eli joining Riku's harem. And after a few minutes of explaining, Kyoya adjusted his reading glasses as he stared at Riku.

Kyoya: So the eldest daughter of the Ayase is more than willing to join your harem. And Rinko has approved of this?

Riku: Well, Rinko kinda insisted Eli to do it.

Kyoya: Hm...what about her family's approval?

Riku: Eli told me that I got their approval long ago when I beat her cousin back at TI10, so there is no need to go to them and ask for approval.

Kyoya: Then that saves the time. Alright then, we'll set up a meeting with the Ayase during the weekends. Is Sunday good enough?

Riku: I think we have to do it next week. I have to go to the Yagokoro villa at Saturday, And I have a feeling that something will happen once the weekends roll in.

Kyoya: Very well, I'll contact the Ayase family about the details tomorrow. You can go back to your room now. We're finished here.

Riku: Very well then, I'll be taking my leave.

Riku turned around as he heads to the door. and as his hand was on the door knob, Kyoya called Riku as if he forgotten something.

Kyoya: Riku. The reports regarding the woman you saved yesterday, good job. Keep up the good work, and I'm very proud of your actions.

Riku didn't turn around as he showed a small smile.

Riku: I did what I have to do. I lost Tenshi right in front of me last time, no way I'm losing someone in front of me...never again.

As Riku said that, he opened the door and left his grandfather's office and returned to his room leaving his grandfather alone.

A few days later.....

Tokyo Train Station

June 18, 2021 - Friday - 4:30 P.M.

After speaking with his grandfather, Riku decided to call it a day. Then, on Thursday morning, Riku had his usual schedule. However, in the afternoon, the situation changes dramatically. 30 minutes after class, Aichi and the girls of μ's came to Hanasakigawa looking for Riku and demanding answers. When they discovered Riku, Umi, Maki, and Nico began questioning him because they believed Riku had done something to Eli, which Riku denied.

Aichi and Nozomi defended Riku by stating that he was with them at the time. Rinko also spoke up, claiming that her involvement influenced Eli's decision to join Riku's harem. But the three remained unconvinced, so Riku decided to reveal Eli's genuine feelings; he asked for her permission, and she agreed.

Riku began to tell the rest of μ's minus Nozomi on how they met, how they became friends, and How Eli's feelings came to light. But what shocked them the most was when they found out that Eli confessed to Riku outright which Nico scolded Eli as having a relationship is a taboo for an idol.

And they were even more surprised when they found out that Riku rejected her and they were still close friends. But Riku told them that he was aware that even though they were friends at that time, Eli's feelings for him were still lingering inside of her.

To ensure that Umi, Maki, and Nico were convinced, Riku presented the full plan as well as the country's position. When the girls discovered that the situation was even worse than they had anticipated, they were completely stunned. So, in the end, Umi, Maki, and Nico allowed Riku and Eli's relationship slide in exchange for Riku's promise to cherish Eli for the rest of his life, something he had already promised to.

After settling the issue, Riku asked Aichi if he was taking the girls to the Moriya party and he said yes. And Aichi asked Riku in return on who will be going with him, and he said that the girls of Roselia and Pastel*Palettes along with Tina, Miyu, Youmu and Mafuyu. Then Aichi told him that he'll be preparing a means of transportation for Riku and the girls once they reached Nagano.

Now we cut a day later to Riku who is with Rinko, Mafuyu, Tina, Miyu and Youmu are at the Tokyo train station, as they're waiting for the girls of Roselia and Pastel*Palettes to arrive. As to why they're here, Riku decided that they should take the Shinkansen on their way to Nagano. And Riku is holding a bag that contains the present that he's planning to give to Sanae once they made it to the Moriya Shrine.

Riku checked his watch to look at the time, and they only have 30 minutes till their train arrives.

Riku: They're taking their time...the train arrives in 30 minutes.

Miyu: Just be patient, Riku-san. They'll be here soon enough. Are you that excited to be at the party?

Riku: Not the party, it's just that I haven't seen Sanae for so long. It's been a while since I've visited the Moriya Shrine.

Rinko: What's your relationship with Sanae-san?

Riku: Sanae my be a year older than me, she's what you call.....an over doting onee-chan.

Kaguya: Over doting can be an understatement. Sanae is spoiling him rotten like Riku is spoiling Kokoro.

Riku and the others turned to their right and they saw Kaguya, but Eirin and Udongein weren't by her side.

Riku: Kaguya. So you're really going on your own.

Kaguya: I can handle myself. Besides, Eirin can't come with the patient that they're taking care of right now. And I'm more than enough to represent the Eientei. Remilia and the girls of Koumakan will come right?

Riku: They are. But they already left way earlier than us. And they should be in Nagano in the next hour or so.

Kaguya: We still have to wait for-

Before Kaguya can get a word out, she and Riku felt a huge pressure of malice directed at them, then the two of them turned around to see where it came from, but it disappeared completely.

Riku: Kaguya....that malice.....

Kaguya: Yeah...that malice was heavy....

Miyu: Riku-san, Kaguya-san. What happened?

Kaguya: We felt something...very evil...but before we even get the chance to look, it was already gone.

Tina: I also felt it too. The malice was so heavy, I can't even move. Mafuyu-nee-san, are you okay?

Mafuyu: I'm fine, Tina-chan. I just need to take a breather.

Tina asked Mafuyu who was on her knees while clenching her chest tight.

Rinko: But who could it be?

Riku: I don't know.....but the way it exerted it's pressure....it felt like it's just a greeting. And I get the feeling that this isn't the last time as well.

Meanwhile with the culprits...

We go to the other side of the station, there are two girls walking right outside of the station. The first girl wears a black hat with a bow, white blouse, and a brown dress. She also has brown hair and often carries a book with her. The other girl has blond hair, a purple dress and a white mob cap, with a red ribbon at her collar. She's also wearing brown shoes and long white socks. Her white mob cap has a red ribbon on the top of it.

???: Merry, you know that's the one chance you get to talk to Riku, right? You missed your chance again.

Maribel: I know that, Renko. But...

Renko seeing her partner being timid again, made her scratch her head.

They are Usami Renko and Maribel Hearn. They're university students at the Yotsuba Women's University. And one of Riku's closest friends.

Renko: Merry, you have a crush on Riku for the past 5 years. You have every chance whenever we encounter him overseas, and you always fumble the bag. And look what happened. He got engaged a few days ago. Now your chances with him are now slim.

Maribel: Uhhhhhh....

Maribel was trying to hold back her tears as her best friend was berating her.

???: Now now Renko-chan~ I think Merry-chan gets the message clear~

???: And no need to worry, I made sure that the Nagae brat gets the message too.

And right behind Maribel and Renko were two mature women floating behind them. One is a woman that has light-blue eyes with white hair and wears red robes. She has six violet wings that has several red markings on it. The second woman has green eyes, long green hair, a purple ribbon on her neck, she wears a dark blue cap, a purple dress under a long blue cape and has a white tail. 

Maribel: Mima-sama, you might've took it too far with that one though....

Renko: I gotta agree with Merry right there. If Shinki-sama didn't stop you there, it might inflict more damage to those around Riku.

The ones who were floating behind Renko and Maribel were Mima and Shinki. Two of the most powerful beings in Gensokyo with Shinki being a literal god.

Mima: Tsk. I just gave that Nagae brat some punishment. That's what he get for breaking Merry's heart like that.

Maribel: Mima-sama.....he didn't break my heart.....it just caught me off guard.

Shinki: Then are you planning to join his harem? Ara~ that would be a sight to see~

Maribel started to blush hard as Shinki was just giggling and Mima was just smirking. Renko was just shaking her head as her partner was getting played by the two spirits with them.

Renko: Yare yare.....well, we'll get another chance to meet Riku again....if fate allows it though.

Now back to Riku and the girls...

One and a half hour later....

Mount Moriya Base

6:00 P.M.

After the small issue that Riku and Kaguya felt, The other members of Roselia and Pastel*Palettes arrived, and so are the girls of μ's. They arrived with a few minutes to spare and their train arrived as they head inside and make their way to Nagano.

After an hour of traveling, they've reached the Nagano station. As they got off the train, they were greeted by Aichi who is already waiting for them. Aichi greeted Riku and the girls to Nagano as they prepare to head to the Moriya Shrine which is located at the top of Mount Moriya.

Aichi prepared a long bus for them to use to get there, and 30 minutes from the train station, they've reached the base of the mountain. When they saw the long staircase towards the summit, some of the girls paled as it'll be a tiresome climb.

Lisa: We're gonna climb that?

Sayo: We already climbed our way to the Hakugyokurou....but this.....

Riku: Don't worry, we have someone to help.

???: And you're right on time. I was already waiting for you to arrive.

They looked around as they heard someone talk, then they looked above and they saw a woman has an elaborate red shirt with long white sleeves and a round mirror over the center of her chest. She wears a long black skirt with a red flower print hem. Has poofy intense blue hair and dark red eyes. Behind her is a large twisting rope circle shimenawa with shide.

???: Yo, Riku. Good to see you again.

Riku: Good to see you again, Kanako-sama.

The girls of Roselia flinched when Riku called the woman "Kanako-sama", that is when they realized that she's one of the goddesses that Riku was talking about.

Kanako: I take that these girls are your friends? Welcome. I'm Yasaka Kanako, one of the resident goddesses of the Moriya Shrine. We already got noted that you're aware of our existence, so you girls are good in my eyes. I take that this is everybody?

Riku: I think so....Kanako-sama, have you seen Remi and the other residents of the Koumakan?

Kanako: Oh, them? They're already at the shrine. Sanae is already having fun with the Scarlet's little sister.

Riku: I see, then you can do what you need to do, Kanako-sama.

Aichi: You girls might need to stick together. Just a precaution.

The girls followed what Aichi said and as Kanako casually stomped on the ground, a light blue magic circle appeared beneath them, and the magic circle started to move on their way to the top of the mountain.

Kanako: Hang on tight kids, I'm gonna pick up the pace.

As Kanako said that, the magic circle glowed a bit as the speed they're going is getting a bit faster. with that speed, they've reached the mountain's summit in just 10 minutes.

As they reached the summit, the magic circle beneath them vanished and what they saw is a huge traditional Japanese shrine with a huge twisted rope tied in front of the shrine. and behind the shrine was a huge lake where the water is reflecting the moon.

As the girls were mesmerized by the view, Kanako stretched out her arms as she welcomes them to the Moriya Shrine with pride.

Kanako: Everybody, welcome to the Moriya Shrine.

Umi: It's so.....beautiful....

Sayo: The view looks so.....magical....

Nozomi: I can feel the spiritual power coursing through my body.

Riku slightly nodded to Nozomi's words, as he felt the spiritual energy of the mountain itself running through his body. 

Kanako raised an eyebrow from Nozomi's words.

Kanako: So you can feel the spiritual power eh? So you're a shrine maiden as well?

Nozomi: Well I do work as a shrine maiden in one of the shrines near my school.

Kanako: So that's why...well, it's nice to see a shrine maiden from another shrine to visit us.

Hina: Kanako-sama! Can we take a picture of the lake?

Kanako: Sure, why not. If you're finished taking a picture of it, can you advertise it?

Aya: Eh? Advertise it?

Aichi: Kanako-sama may be a goddess, but she sees religion as a form of business. If you girls took pictures of the lake, you're basically advertising the Moriya Shrine. And that means, more people will gather here.

Riku: And that means, Kanako-sama and Suwako-sama will be able to gather more faith.

The girls were surprised on Kanako's methods on gaining followers, but Kanako replied that she does that to adapt to the times. Instead of doing it in the old fashioned way like what the church is doing back in the day, she follows the current trend of today's era.

Suwako: Riku-chan~ Aichi-chan~ You're finally here~

They turned to their left and they see Suwako walking towards them with her hands on the back of her head.

Riku: We've come like we promised, Suwako-sama.

Suwako: So these girls are the only ones that can come here? Where are the others?

Riku: Well they have some plans of their own. Try to understand.

Suwako: Hai hai~

Kanako: Yo, Suwako. How's things going on the lake?

Suwako: Everything's okay now. Now the hot springs all around town should be going well by now.

Kanako: Good. Alright kids, let's get inside. We don't want the other guests waiting.

As Riku and the others followed the two goddesses to the shrine, they heard something very loud. Kanako, Suwako, Riku, Aichi, Kaguya and Youmu rushed to the door, and when they opened it....they saw hell....

(A/N: The hell I'm referring to is the chaos in what the members of Fairy Tail always do in their guild whenever they party)

Luckily the food wasn't there yet, but the damage inside can be considered.....big. Broken furniture, walls filled with holes, broken ceilings and they saw the girls are having a danmaku battle inside the shrine. The one who were fighting were Remila and Flandre against a girl with long brown-black hair, her eyes are brown, wears a red ribbon and matching tubes on her sidelocks. She wears a red skirt, a sleeveless red top with a white collar, tied with a ribbon, and a pair of white detached sleeves which exposes her sarashi, and a girl with blonde hair and yellow eyes. She wears clothes with a black and white color scheme, consisting of a black vest and skirt, white waist apron and undershirt, and a black witch hat with a white bow. Her hair is commonly braided on one side with a bow on the end.

Remilia: Kukuku...to think that the Hakurei shrine maiden has gotten this weak. Maybe I'll be able to get my payback this time.

???: In your dreams vamp. Me and Marisa beat your asses once, we can do so again. And who said that I got weaker huh?

Marisa: Yeah Reimu, you tell them ze! And no hard feelings Flandre.

They're Hakurei Reimu, heiress of the Hakurei Family. A part of the Celestial Families and the creator of the danmaku battle format, and Kirisame Marisa, one of the most talented young mages in Gensokyo.

As the four were locked in, we go to the side of the shrine where Meiling and Sakuya were sitting along with a girl wearing a pink/white dress with a blue apron, a matching headband with a ribbon on the side, as well as white socks. She has blonde hair and gold eyes and she carries her signature grimoire on her waist and she has 5 metal rings on her fingers that is attached to strings. And right beside her is an unconscious girl who wears a blue and white outfit similar to a shrine maiden's, with the blue areas covered in light blue polka dots and stripes. She has long light green hair, and green eyes. She wears a snake-shaped hair accessory wrapped around her hair on one side, and a blue headband with a frog's head on it. And her eyes were swirling in spirals as if she got knocked out.

The blonde girl is Alice Margatroid, the owner of 7 Rainbow, while the unconscious girl beside her was Kochiya Sanae, the shrine maiden of the Moriya Shrine.

Seeing this, Kanako and Suwako rushed to the unconscious girl.

Kanako/Suwako: SANAE!!!

To the goddesses words, Reimu, Marisa, Remilia and Flandre froze as they turned their direction to the entrance, only to see Riku just staring at them coldly. Riku gave the bag that contains the gift that he was planning on giving to Sanae to Youmu as he stepped forward while he's letting out a menacing aura.

Reimu: Fuck.

Marisa: R-Riku....yo....

Flandre: Onii-san....

Remilia: Riku-boy....I can explain...we-

Without hesitation, Riku's scarf extended into four and it wrapped around the four girls before they even get to react. Aichi, Kaguya and Youmu already knew that Riku is now in a bad mood, and decided to step back. The girls asked if they should be worried, but Aichi assured that they have nothing to worry about.

Riku: Alice. Was this battle under way or not?

Alice answered Riku with her eyes closed as she was drinking her tea.

Alice: The battle was at it's early stages...I take that you want to join the fray?

Riku: Yes. Kanako-sama, Suwako-sama. If you may?

Suwako: You got it, Riku-chan~ As the resident goddess of the Moriya Shrine, I invoke my authority to have Riku-chan enter the battle~

Kanako: And this tag battle will now become a battle royale. So go ahead and enjoy, Riku. And get revenge for Sanae!!

Hearing Kanako and Suwako's words, the four girls that were wrapped in Riku's scarves started to shake in fear, as they see Riku slowly covering himself with lightning.

Riku: You know, I was getting excited to see Sanae again since I haven't seen her in years, but here I am seeing the shrine got absolutely wrecked because of your stupidity. Now....any last words?

Reimu, Remilia and Flandre were too afraid to speak, but Marisa had the balls to ask Riku to show mercy.

Marisa: M-Mercy?

Riku: Sorry. All out of mercy. Thunder Sign: "Wrath of the Thunder Dragon God"!!!!

As Riku casted his spell, four violet pillars of lightning crashed down on the four girls as they were screaming in pain.

GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!

Rinko and the other girls were shaking in fear as they see Riku's ruthless side. As for Tina, she made a mental note to not mess with Riku, and she was fortunate that he was holding back that one time. Kaguya was laughing her heart out, while Aichi and Youmu were shaking their heads.

One cleanup later......…

8:00 P.M.

Riku POV

After dealing with the four troublemakers, I decided to help with Kanako-sama and Suwako-sama with the repairs of the shrine. It took a few hours to finish the repairs, all thanks to the effort of everyone in attendance, minus Reimu and the others.

After the shrine is fully repaired, Sanae began to wake up.

Sanae:...Suwako-sama....Kanako-sama...

Suwako: Don't worry, Sanae. everything's taken care of...

Kanako: And take a look on who took care of business.

Kanako-sama pointed at me. and when me and Sanae made eye contact, she rushed towards me as she gave me a very warm hug.

Sanae: RIKU!!!!! IT'S BEEN LONG SINCE I'VE SEEN YOU!! ONEE-CHAN MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!! LOOK HOW MUCH YOU'VE GROWN!! ONEE-CHAN IS HAPPY!!

Rinko and the girls of Roselia, Pastel*Palettes, μ's and Miyu were just shocked to see a shrine maiden rubbing her cheeks on me as she was patting my head.

Rinko: Riku did tell us that Sanae-san was a doting onee-chan.....

Miyu: But I didn't expect her to be this doting.....

I noticed Lisa and Hina were planning to take a few pictures of the scene, but Aichi and Kaguya stopped them halfway.

Aichi: Don't even think about it.

Kaguya: Trust me that you don't want to do it. Do it, or you'll end up like those four over there.

Kaguya pointed to the direction where Reimu, Marisa, Remi and Flan were. They were at the time out corner of the shrine all charred black and smoke was still coming out off of them. Reason they were charred is because I forgot to set the intensity of the spell to the minimum.

When Lisa and Hina saw that, they returned their phones to their pockets and made a note to not piss me off. After Sanae finished hugging me, she introduced herself to the girls.

Sanae: Ah~ much better. Let me introduce myself desu~ My name is Kochiya Sanae. I'm the shrine maiden of the Moriya Shrine. Now, which one of you girls are Riku's fiance's? We got a notice from Yukari-san that Riku is engaged to two girls.

The atmosphere turned cold as Sanae really went for that. I turned to where Rinko, Miyu and Eli were and they made eye contact to me as well. I just quietly nodded and just do what Sanae says.

After a few seconds, Rinko, Miyu and Eli stepped forward, which surprised Sanae.

Sanae: Oya? So you three are Riku's fiance's?

Rinko: W-we are.....My name is Shirokane Rinko.

Miyu: I'm Sakurada Miyu.

Eli: And I'm Ayase Eli.

As Rinko, Miyu and Eli introduced themselves, the other girls behind them were starting to get concerned, wondering what Sanae might do.

Sanae: Don't be nervous, sit down.

The three girls took a seat as Sanae carefully observed them.

Rinko: S-Sanae-san.....what are you doing?

Suwako: Don't worry about that Rinko-chan~ Sanae is just taking a look at you if you have any impurities in you~

Miyu: Impurities?

Kanako: Sanae is specialized in purification. And taking out impurities are her forte. Unlike the Hakurei shrine maiden over there whose specialization involves around combat, Sanae is much more of a healer.

Eli: Is that so?

Sanae: Yup. And from observing from the three of you, you have no impurities in your body. Onee-chan is glad that Riku chose the three of you. So, what made you fall for him? As his onee-chan, it is my right to know.

My three fiance's flinched as Sanae has entered her "Protective Onee-chan Mode", something that can be both annoying and adorable at the same time. Rinko didn't hesitate and shared her feelings with Sanae.

Rinko: Riku helped me to mostly everything when we were still young. he even helped me on my piano....and all of that, he didn't ask for anything in return. As the years went by, my feelings for him grew till to the point that I can't live without him.

Sanae: I see. Riku did tell me about you. And your feelings for him really don't lie. What about you two?

Sanae looked at Eli and Miyu as she's anticipating their answers. Miyu went first as she gave her answer.

Miyu: Riku-san was my idol...he's the reason why I became a DJ. When I saw him perform for the first time, I was.....attracted to him. The way he plays, the way he shows himself to the stage, and the messages of his songs....it made me fall for him.

Eli: To be honest.....at first, I despised Riku.

Everyone was shocked excluding me when Eli told everyone that she hated me the first time we met. The rest of μ's already knew me and Eli explained it to them yesterday. Sanae was surprised the most, but Eli continued as she explained her reason.

Eli: Reason to that was because of my dislike for men. When we first met, I didn't want to do anything with him. Until I saw he and my cousin were getting along very fast, and that got me curious. And when I had the chance to talk with Riku, he's entirely different from the other men I've met. And as the days pass, my distaste for men slowly fade away...all thanks to Riku, and my feelings for him grew and grew.

Sanae: I see. I can see in both of your eyes that you are honest with Riku's feelings. But let me ask you this, are you willing to be with Riku for the rest of your lives?

Rinko: I made my decision the moment I fell in live with him, Sanae-san.

Miyu: The lord has given me a chance to be with him, and as his follower, I shall abide to it.

Eli: For years, I followed the choices that everyone tells me to do. But....this is the choice that I decided. And I have no regrets.

I looked at Sanae and I can tell that she's still not convinced. Then I saw a sly smile on her face as I can tell that she's planning something.

Sanae: To be honest....I'm still not convinced.

Rinko: Eh?! You're still not convinced?!

Eli: Even though I put my heart on it.....

Sanae: Don't be so down. There is one way to convince me.

Miyu: And what would that be?

Sanae: Simple~ I want you to kiss Riku in front of me right now~

Sanae said that with a smile on her face, and the room went dead silent. The girls of Roselia, PasuPare, μ's, and everyone's jaws dropped. As for my fiance's...their cheeks are as red as Reimu's skirt.

Rinko: Y-Y-Y-Y-You want us to kiss Riku here?!?!

Miyu: I-Is there any other way?

Sanae: You said that you love Riku with all your heart right? Then that means that you girls can kiss him in front of the public. Come on now, don't be shy~ Onee-chan is waiting~

Rinko and Miyu were lost as they have no idea what to do. I was about to Sanae, Eli came to me as she puts her hands on my shoulders.

Riku: E-Eli?

Eli: Sorry that I have to do this in front of them...but....

With that, Eli kissed me on the lips, and I heard everyone screaming. Rinko and Miyu returned from their own world as they saw me and Eli were making out. As me and Eli were kissing, I felt Eli was trying to get her tongue inside me, well two can play it that game. I grabbed Eli at the back of her head as I pushed my tongue inside her mouth as I took control of the situation. Eli showed no resistance as she melted to the kiss. After a few minutes of kissing, we separated and a line of saliva were coming out of our mouths.

Riku: So, How was your first kiss?

Eli: H-Hot.....and intense.....

I just chuckled and I looked at the girls reaction. And μ's reaction stood out.

Nozomi: Wow.....to think that Elicchi had the guts to kiss Rikucchi in front of us~

Umi: So...so shameless...

Hanayo fainted from just watching me and Eli kiss. Honoka, Kotori, Rin and Maki were blushing deep red as I can see steam coming out of their heads. As for Nico, she lets out a grin as she liked what she saw.

As Eli was still recovering from the kiss, Rinko stood up as she went to me. Eli scooted aside as Rinko was already in front of me.

Rinko: Y-You know the rules....right?

Riku: I know.

Without hesitation, me and Rinko shared a kiss as she wrapped her arms around my neck. I can feel Rinko's warmth from the kiss alone and that makes me happy. After we finished the kiss, both of us shared a hug as a sign of affection. I gently rubbed her at the back of her head as she quietly doved her face into my chest.

The girls of Roselia were blushing at the scene, especially Ako-chan during the kiss. But when they saw me and Rinko hugged it out, the four of them showed an approving smile. Then I felt someone was tugging the sleeves of my jacket and it was Miyu who I can tell that she's asking me for a kiss. Rinko nodded as she separated from me and I gave Miyu a passionate kiss as well.

The kiss that me and Miyu are doing right now is not out of lust, but out of pure love for each other. As we separated from the kiss, I can see Miyu in tears as she happily smiled at me as I gently gave her a headpat. It took a while for Rinko, Eli and Miyu to recollect themselves. After that, they took a seat beside me as the four of us faced Sanae. Then I looked at Sanae to see if she's satisfied on what she saw.

Riku: Will that convince you enough? Onee-chan?

Sanae: What you girls did just now shows how dedicated you are to Riku. As his onee-chan, I approve! And with that~

Sanae showed a happy smile as she was nodding happily. She stretched out her hand and her gohei appeared and tapped Rinko, Miyu and Eli's heads and the three of them started to glow in a light green color.

Umi: What's happening to them?

Suwako: What you're seeing is Sanae's power come into play.

Hanayo: Power?

Riku: Sanae's power is creating miracles. What Sanae is doing to them is that she's bestowing them a miracle.

Aichi: But the miracle isn't instantaneous. The miracle will work whenever it is needed.

Sayo: So it's like when your back is against the wall, you get a certain power up or something?

Kanako: Well that's an accurate way to say it. But yes, Sanae's miracles will work if you really needed it. Although it only works on humans.

Eve: So there is a drawback.

When the light dimmed out, Rinko, Miyu and Eli looked at their bodies to see if something happened to them.

Miyu: Sanae-san, what did you do?

Sanae: I just blessed you with a miracle. It'll come in handy in your time of need, use it wisely. Consider it as a gift from me as I approve of your relationship. And I trust Riku to you and his other potential wives.

Rinki, Miyu and Eli looked at each other to Sanae's words, then they turned to Sanae as they showed their gratitude.

Rinko/Miyu/Eli: HAI!

Riku: Oh right, before I forget. Here you go Sanae, I brought something that you might like.

Sanae took the bag from me and as she opened the box, her eyes were sparkling bright.

Sanae: Unbelievable!!! To think that you bought me the limited edition 00 Quan[T] Full Saber Full Metal Edition!! This things are super expensive as instead of it's usual plastic body, the entire thing is all metal, which is harder to assemble and harder to take the pieces together. But once fully assembled, it would be a sight to behold!! Where did you get this Riku?

Riku: When I got the invitation, it was the first thing came to mind. And I know that you want to get your hands on one of those. So I went to Yokohama and managed to get one in a good discount.

Sanae: Thank you so much Riku!!! I'll start assembling this once I have the time! But for now...now that I met Riku's future wives, how about you other girls introduce yourselves.

To Sanae's words, the other girls started to introduce themselves and right after that, the party was underway.

One Party Later…..

Mount Moriya - Lake Suwa

11:30 P.M.

After the rest of Roselia, Pastel*Palettes, and μ's introduced themselves, the other girls of Gensokyo introduced themselves, starting with Alice. When Alice introduced herself as the owner of 7 Rainbow, both Kotori and Rinko wanted to get some pointers from her. She even offered them to become their mentor in regards to clothing design. And with Yukina and Aichi's approval, Alice is now Rinko and Kotori's teacher.

After Alice introduced herself, Satori-san arrived along with Koishi, Okuu and Orin. Suika and Yuugi came along with them as their bodyguards. Luna-sensei, Lyri-sensei and Mer-sensei also showed up as they were invited by Suwako-sama herself.

I was happy that they were invited. After my music teachers arrived, Hatate arrived along with Momiji. I asked Hatate on what happened to Aya, but she told me that she had to accompany Megumu-san with something important.

Reimu, Marisa, Remi and Flan woke up at the right time and I have them explain for their actions. The reason why those four idiots even started a danmaku battle is that they were fighting over a box of pudding. I had them apologize to Sanae for wrecking the shrine or else I'll report this to Reimu's mother, which Reimu apologized quickly. For Marisa, I threatened her that I'll take the books that she stole from Patchy and return it to her. And for Remi and Flan, I'll tell this to their father once the party is over. After hearing my threats, they apologized to Sanae.

After the four idiots apologized, Eirin-san along with Udongein arrived unexpectedly. I asked why they were here and not keeping an eye on Kuroka, but Eirin-san said that the villa is now taken care of by the moon rabbits as they're keeping an eye on Kuroka at all times. Eirin-san told me that Kuroka's condition has improved as the days gone by which made me sigh in relief.

Once all the invited people arrived, the party was in full swing. And Suwako-sama didn't lie about the food, Sanae really went overboard. Fortunately, we got two hungry oni with us. Of course the drinks were just not sake, they also had juice and soda for those who are younger.

As the party was in full swing, Luna-sensei, Mer-sensei and Lyri-sensei hosted a mini concert which we really appreciated. And Yukina was very absorbed to see the famous Prismriver Ensemble play. The girls of PasuPare were asking for some pointers on their instrument play, in which they accepted.

As the other girls were partying, Rinko, Miyu and Eli asked me on Sanae's sudden love for mecha, and I just tell them that Sanae is a massive mecha otaku.

The party lasted for several hours, we had our fill and we started to have some fun. After a few hours, the girls started to fall down one by one, meaning that they're already falling asleep. Kanako-sama and Suwako-sama provided the rooms for the girls so they can sleep.

Eirin-san and Udongein left the Moriya Shrine a little while ago while Udongein was carrying Kaguya on her back. They say their goodbyes as I tell them to be careful. Eirin-san nodded and told me to come to the villa tomorrow.

Right now, I'm at Lake Suwa as I'm admiring the view of the lake. I followed what Iku told me several days ago that I should take in more spiritual energy so that Tenshi can recover faster.

I closed my eyes as I start to absorb the spiritual power from the lake. And after several minutes of absorbing, I felt someone is right beside me. I opened my eyes and it was Aichi.

Riku: Aichi, you're here.....can't sleep?

Aichi: Not really. I usually sleep later.

Riku: I see. What about the others?

Aichi: Wasted. It seems they can't take the power of Yuugi-san's sake. Me, Suwako-sama and Kanako-sama helped those girls to the guest room so they can get some sleep. By the way, what are you doing here?

Riku: I'm doing what Iku said to me several days ago.

Aichi: What did she say?

Riku: She said that Tenshi may recover faster if I stay in places that has a lot of spiritual energy.

I can see Aichi tensed a bit. I know he wanted to see his sister badly. So I decide to tell him everything. And after telling him everything I know, Aichi laid down on the grass as he recollect everything.

Aichi: So in the end, even if nee-san fully recovers, she can't do what she did at Stockholm anymore. Is that right?

Riku: Unfortunately. I'm still thinking of a way for her to talk to you without manifesting herself in the outside world.

Aichi: No need. All that matters most is nee-san is gonna be fine. Say, Riku....how does it feel getting engaged to three girls at the same time?

I looked at Aichi with wide eyes as he asked me that. I didn't expect that he would change the topic that quick. But.....I feel that he's onto something.

Riku: Why ask me that all of a sudden?

Aichi: When I saw you kissed Rinko-san, Miyu-san and Eli. It felt like it's becoming difficult for you.

Riku: Hmmmm.....to be completely honest....it's hard. Rinko, Miyu and Eli have different preferences, different types and personalities. And it's hard to balance them out. And the fact that I have to treat them equally is already a daunting task. But my love for them evens it out. I'm getting used to it though.

Aichi: I see.....Riku, you know that me and Kotori are going out, right?

Riku: I know, I mean you two are engaged right? Why bring that up? Don't tell me-

Aichi: Yeah.....when I told them about the harem plan...Kotori was convincing me to date both Honoka and Umi with her....I know Honoka and Umi way back when I was staying at Tokyo back in the day and they know me as well. When Kotori told the two about our engagement, I can clearly see that both Honoka and Umi were hurt from that.

Riku: I see where this is going...

Aichi: Looks like I don't need to say anything else. Riku...what should I do in this situation?

So Aichi has someone in mind aside from Kotori. Not gonna lie, I have no clue on how to help him.....but I gotta try.

Riku: Aichi, how bout you tell them how you really feel? Be honest with them.

Aichi: You think that'll work? I mean if it's Honoka, it might work, but Umi is a different story. She might hate me altogether and it might be the reason why μ's gets disbanded.

Riku: I know that you overthink the smallest of things, but you gotta have faith in yourself. Tell me, has Umi ever hated you?

Aichi: No...she hasn't....even once.

Riku: Then that's more than enough. Show her that you're committed to her. Show her that you're serious. Show her that you're the man for her. And from what Tenshi told me back then, The Sonoda has approved of you being with Umi.

Aichi: Nee-san said that?

Riku: She did. She was making a joke that you'll be having a harem before I get a girlfriend. So yeah.....tell Honoka and Umi what you really feel. I'm sure they'll understand.

Aichi: I.....I guess...I'll give it a try....once the results of the first round of Love Live comes out.

Riku: Well, it's your choice. Say, how about we spar? For old time sake?

Aichi: Are you sure? I mean you used a lot of magic power when you fried those four.

Riku: Not with magic, just pure combat skill.

Aichi got up from the ground as he makes his distance and readies his fighting stance without saying anything.

Riku: Guess I'll take that as a yes.

I got up from the from the ground as I tidied up myself. I get into my stance as we wait on who makes the first move. And right close to us was a frog. the moment the frog croaked, both of us closed our distance, and our fists clashed.

Meanwhile in Riku's Landscape...

3rd POV

We go to Riku's mindscape in the Dragon Palace, where Iku is residing inside along with the sleeping Tenshi. Iku was gazing through the windows of the palace as she felt the spiritual energy coming from the Moriya Shrine.

Iku: It seems that Riku followed my advice. With this amount of spiritual power, It's only a matter of time that Tenshi finally recovers.

As she was looking at Tenshi's unconscious body, she started to notice that some of her fingers started to twitch which shocked her greatly.

Iku: What in the...interesting...it seems that the energy from the Moriya Shrine is that potent. You might recover faster than I think.
