Chapter 31 - XXIX - The Engagement and the Celestial Family's Plan

A/N: Since August is right around the corner, might as well put this one out. That means, this will be the chapter for August.

Live House CiRCLE - Front Desk

June 7, 2021 - Monday

4:00 P.M.

Riku POV

School finished in an unexpectedly good note. I expected Kaguya to raise some issues the instant she enrolled in Hanasakigawa, but she didn't.

After homeroom, I asked her why she chose Hanasakigawa over one of Fukushima's other schools. Kaguya said that the second reason why she's here is due to Yuyuko-san's suggestion. Yuyuko-san advised her to take use of this chance to reconnect with me and make new friends beyond those who visit Eientei on a daily basis.

Then lunchtime arrived. This time, I was with the second-year students, with Mafuyu, as I introduced Kaguya to them. Everyone was thrilled to meet Kaguya, especially Kasumi. She even brought a signing pad and requested for Kaguya's autograph. Kaguya asked why, and I simply said that they recognized her as the Kaguya-hime from the children's stories. Kaguya handed Kasumi an autograph with a sly expression. But I smacked her on the back of the head to prevent it from getting on her head.

When Kaguya and Kokoro met again, they hugged tightly and began talking about things that can get out of hand. Misaki, who was alongside me, questioned if she should be concerned, and I just said that Kaguya has a point to hold back, which gave her a sense of comfort. But when I told her that she usually does weird things and drags someone along with her, she became even more concerned. But I told her that Kaguya wouldn't do anything since I'd be there to keep her in check.

When Kokoro asked Kaguya where she currently resides, she said that she purchased a penthouse near the Nagae Estate, and if I recall correctly, there is a penthouse about a 15-minute walk from the estate.

After lessons finished, I asked Kaguya what her plans were for the remainder of the day, and she replied she needed to complete unpacking her belongings, which she had only done for the most essential items. I offered my assistance, but she said that she had brought some moon rabbits to help her along the way. Before I went for CiRCLE, I reminded Kaguya not to let Tae see the moon rabbits. She questioned why, and I just said that she has an unhealthy obsession with rabbits, and Kaguya took my warning to heart.

Right now, I'm at CiRCLE's front desk as Aya and Hatate had the day off so it's just me and-

Saki: Konnichiwa owner-san!!

And right on time, Saki and the rest of Leo/need have arrived.

Riku: You're right on time girls. I was wondering when you'll be here.

Ichika: Well, normally we would be here before 4.....but someone wants to talk to you.

Riku: To me?

Ichika nodded, then Honami and Ichika moved and I see 4 girls standing right behind them.

The first girl has light blue eyes with long eyelashes and long, light blue hair, worn loose and wavy, some of which covers her face. She has a beauty mark near the right corner of her lip.

The second girl beside her has calm, light blue eyes and short blue hair, worn loose and swept bangs that cover her forehead.

The third one has reddish-pink eyes and long, messy coral pink hair that falls below her shoulder blades, with two clumps of hair tied into small loose fluffy pigtails near the top.

And the last girl has light grey eyes and shoulder-length light brown hair, worn loose with blunt bangs. The right side of her hair is braided and clipped back with an orange and white flower pin.

And these girls are wearing the school uniform of Miyamasuzuka which is similar to Ichika and the girls.

The girl with the light blue hair stepped forward and bowed to me in a form of gratitude.

Shizuku: A pleasure to meet you owner-san, I'm Hinomori Shizuku. I thank you for taking care of Shiho.

I was stunned for a second the moment I heard Shizuku's voice and I almost blushed by it. I Calmed myself down as I remembered that Shiho did tell me that she had a sister.

Riku: Hinomori? I take it that you're Shiho's sister.

Shizuku: Hai. Shiho has been talking about you for a few days now, and it got me curious.

Shiho: Nee-san....

Shiho lightly punched her sister as the latter was just laughing lightly.

Haruka: Well....we still need to introduce ourselves. I'm Kiritani Haruka. Good to meet you.

Airi: I'm Momoi Airi! Please to meet you!

Minori: And I'm Hanasato Minori! It's an honor to meet you Riku-san.

Riku: Hm. Nice to meet you four. I think you girls already know me so I think I don't need to introduce myself. So, what brings MORE MORE JUMP here at CiRCLE?

The young idols flinched that I just said that they're MORE MORE JUMP. Shizuku asked me on how did I know them.

Shizuku: How did you know that we're MORE MORE JUMP?

Riku: Shiho told me before they performed here at CiRCLE. And from what I can guess, you want to talk about the SEKAI right?

Haruka: Well you're not wrong about that. But the real reason is, someone else wants to see you, that's why we're here.

Haruka took out her phone and connected it to the PC and what appeared are seemed to be twins. One young male a female with blond hair with a white ribbon tied on their heads.

Riku: So these two wanted to see me. Good to see you again Len, Rin.

These two are Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len. Two of the six virtual singers that mother created for the SEKAI.

(A/N: I'll be calling Hoshizora Rin "Rin-chan" from now on if she's included in future chapters)

Rin: Riku!! It's been too long!! And look how much you've grown!!

Riku: Good to see you in high spirits Rin. And you too Len, good to see you too.

Len: Good to see you too Riku. When we heard from Shizuku that she'll be meeting you, we asked her to bring us with her.

Riku: And she agreed right?

Rin: Hai! So this is the place you've been working on...

Riku: Yup. This place will be the starting point for any aspiring musician who wants to make a name for themselves.

Minori: You're talking as if you're retired Riku-san.

Riku: I am retired, Minori... technically. I retired since I still have some issues to settle here. When things calm down, I might come out of retirement. And I'd want to take advantage of this opportunity to rest. Performing week after week for a full year is very exhausting for me and pros need some rest from time to time. And since you are Idols, accept this as advise from a fellow pro. Take as much rest as possible; otherwise, you will be unable to provide the intended results you want on stage. You girls are still young and have a lot of promise for the future; it would be a shame if that potential gets wasted quickly. Did you get that?

Airi: We'll take these words to heart owner-san!!

Riku: Just call me Riku. Ichika and the rest calls me owner-san because they work here. If you want to practice here, then by all means.

Haruka: Really? Then we accept your offer.

Riku: Good. Just head to Studio 11 and you girls can start your practice. Rin and Len can connect themselves to the TV so they can watch you and guide you girls. Ichika, can you take the girls there on your way to the dressing room.

Ichika: Sure.

Ichika and the girls of Leo/need took the idols to Studio 11, leaving Rin and Len with me.

Riku: So, anything else you want to talk about?

Len: We heard from Miku that our creator is dead...Riku.....if we didn't exist in the first place...will our creator will still be alive?

Riku: Don't say things like that, Len. You, virtual singers, were made for a reason. And it is to connect humans and A.I. together, and pave the way for a new evolution of music. And mother had a target on her back even before she created you, and she had accepted that she could go at any point. But we didn't expect her to be gone so quickly. I told Miku last time that you two are part of my mother's legacy. And as her son, I'll see it through. So, continue guiding those girls, okay?

Rin: Alright, we'll do what you say, Riku.

Len: Sorry for asking a question like that.

Riku: No worries, now run along now. They're already waiting for you.

The twins nodded and gave me a salute as they left the PC and made their way back to Haruka's phone. I just realized that I had Haruka's phone, so I decided to wake Fuyu up from her nap who is sleeping below me.

Riku: Wake up girl. I want you to do something for me.

~nyaa~

Riku: I want you to take this phone to Studio 11. You know where it is right?

Fuyu nodded upward as she understood where it is. So I took a small basket and tied it on her back as I put Haruka's phone on her basket.

Riku: Now I want you to take this phone to Studio 11. If you do a good job, I'll give you some premium fatty tuna as a reward.

Fuyu's eyes were gleaming by hearing the word tuna. Guess that gave her a boost in motivation. Fuyu makes her way to the studio slowly to make sure that she doesn't drop the phone.

As Fuyu walked away. Rinko and the girls of Roselia arrived.

Riku: Welcome girls. I've seen you've made a reservation. Studio 2 is ready for you to use. How's your voice Yukina?

Yukina: It's all better now. Now we can resume our practice.

Riku: Don't go too far okay? Get some rest in between songs. You just recovered, and it'll be a shame if you got hurt again.

Lisa: Don't worry, me and Sayo will keep a close eye on her.

Riku: You better.

As Roselia heads to their assigned studio, Rinko stayed behind for some reason.

Riku: Is there any problem Rinko?

Rinko: Nothing.....it's just....

Riku: It's about that right?

Rinko nodded slowly as I put my hand on her shoulder.

Rinko: I know that there's still a few days away, but....I'm getting nervous.....R-Riku?!

Without any hesitation, I grabbed her and gave her a warm hug. I can tell that she's looking at me as I just closed my eyes. Rinko didn't say anything and she just returned the hug.

After she calmed down, we broke the hug and I looked at her and I can see that she's all good now.

Riku: Did that do the trick?

Rinko: Yeah...I'll be going now.....

Riku: Very well. Do keep an eye on Yukina.

Rinko nodded and she made her way to the studio. And she bypassed Fuyu and didn't even seem to notice. Fuyu jumped to the desk and she was asking for a reward.

Riku: Did Haruka got her phone back?

~nyaa~

Riku: Good girl. Let's head to the fish market after I finish this okay?

~nyaa~

Fuyu slept below me as I finish everything that is needed before I leave. And after half an hour of nonstop working, I'm finally finished working. I woke Fuyu up by rubbing below the neck and I can see that she's wagging her tail.

Riku: You're excited right?

~nyaa~

Riku: Of course you are. Marina, take care of things here. I'll be going ahead.

I told Marina that she's in charge of the live house through the intercom as me and Fuyu left and went to the fish market.

Later.....

Nagae Fish Market

5:00 P.M.

I and Fuyu have arrived at the Nagae Fish Market. This is one of the few food markets owned by the Nagae family in Japan, and it is run by grandfather. This market was founded 20 years ago, when my father and grandfather get along for the first time.

Although my father was a well-known musician at the time, he has a burning passion in food. Though his biggest weakness is that he cannot cook, food critics are envious of his palate. So he came up with the idea of creating a place where everyone could sell the products that local folks had worked so hard for at the most affordable cost. Grandfather was skeptical at first since it was a gamble of sorts. However, after 5 months, it became a huge success. Most culinary schools now get their ingredients from here.

As we enter the market, we were greeted by the stall owners that were selling their ingredients.

Stall Owner 1: Welcome Riku-sama! I see that you brought your cat today.

Riku: Yeah. I want to reward Fuyu with some tuna for her hard work today. Is Urumi here?

Stall Owner 2: Ah Urumi? Yeah, she's here. Right now she's talking with some maid with silver hair.

Riku: Silver hair? Ah....that must be Sakuya-san. Thanks for the info, and keep up the good work.

Stall Owners: We'll do our best, Riku-sama!!

As me and Fuyu left the stall owners to do their business, we walked our way to Urumi's stall. As we reached her stall, we see the door opened and it was Sakuya-san with a basket of fish.

Sakuya: Ara Riku-sama, what brings you here?

Riku: I want to reward Fuyu with something. I take that you got what you want from Urumi?

Sakuya: I did. Oujo-sama and imouto-sama were demanding sushi tonight and I just had to get the best fish around.

Riku: Well those two are spoiled....anyway, you better get moving. You don't want those two wreak havoc around the mansion while you're gone.

Sakuya: Agreed. Have a nice day Riku-sama.

Sakuya-san bowed and left, as I slid the door opened, on the counter was a girl who wears a loose cow-spotted jacket with black borders over a yellow crop-top with long yellow shorts. She wears sandals and holds a baby-shaped stone in her arms. She has horns like an Oni, though she is not a Hell Oni but an Ushi-Oni. Half of her hair is black, the other half is light grey. She has a light tan and bright red eyes. She also has cow ears and a tail. Though the people thought that the ears, horns and tail are fake, but they are actually real.

Urumi: Yo Riku! You gonna buy some fish today?

Riku: Yeah. Show me some of the best tuna you got here, Urumi.

She is Ushizaki Urumi. An Ushi-Oni who runs one of the best fisheries in Japan and is stationed here at the Nagae Fish Market. Though she sells regular fish, her specialty is selling rare fishes that you don't see in your local markets.

Urumi: Tuna huh? I might have some at the back. Hang on for a moment will ya?

Urumi went to the back of the store to get the tuna, and after waiting a few minutes, she returned carrying a huge tuna on her shoulder as she placed it on the table. I took a look at the tuna that Urumi placed on the table, and it looked....odd.

Riku: Urumi....the color of this tuna.....

Urumi: This is just not your ordinary tuna Riku. This is a Red Fin Tuna.

Riku: A Red Fin Tuna? Is this one of the rare fish that you have?

Urumi: Not exactly. One of my boys who were in charge of fishing today got one of these. And they say that these red fins have a 1/2,441,124 chances of appearing. And it seems this breed of tuna appears on certain conditions as well.

Riku: So they're that rare.....and that means...this is gonna take a lot on my pocket.....

Urumi: You're right. And I have no idea on how much I sell this on the market.....I got an idea.

Riku: Well let me hear it.

Urumi: To be honest, we haven't tried any of this fish so we have no idea what it tastes. So how about I give you a part of the tuna, and we want a report on your opinion on the taste. After that, we get to decide how much we sell this big boy.

Riku: An interesting thought, but how will you get another one of this? You said that they are really hard to come-

Urumi: Don't worry about that. Cause I'm going there personally.

Riku: Then I'll leave you to it.

Urumi nodded as she goes to the other side of the table and took her knife and start cutting the fish. While she's doing her thing, I picked up my phone and linked it to my REZVANI as I set it to autopilot and make it's way here.

Urumi: Here you go.

Urumi place a medium white box and as she opened it, it shows the perfect cut of the Red Fin Tuna belly placed in the center with a few ice surrounding it to keep it's freshness.

Riku: The belly huh?

Urumi: I wanted to give it to you as a token of gratitude. You see, our sales increased by 3 times over the last few days. When we wondered why, we found out that you had something to do with it.

Riku: Ah...so this is the aftermath of the shokugeki that I won back in May.

Urumi: So it really was you. Thanks to you, the boys out there were selling the best fish like hotcakes.

Riku: Well, if it's good for the business, then good.

I closed the box and I gave her a tip of at least 500,000 yen.

Urumi: Riku! This is too much!

Riku: Nah, for what the tuna's worth, it's the reasonable tip.

Urumi: T-Thank you....come again next time Riku.

Riku: Who knows.

I said goodbye to Urumi and left her shop. As me and Fuyu head outside the market, my REZVANI was already here. I opened the door and Fuyu jumped right inside and put the box beside her. I told her to not touch it and she followed. I got into the driver's seat and drove my way back home.

Nagae Estate

6:00 P.M.

As we got back home and parked my car at the garage, Fuyu was running around me in circles while I was waking in the hall as she was excited to eat some tuna.

Riku: Relax girl, you'll have your fair share of it.

~nyaa~

Youmu: Welcome back Riku-kun.

Riku: Youmu. I take that Yuyuko-san let you go?

Youmu: Well nothing major is needed at her side, so she let me go. What you got there?

Riku: Some Red Fin Tuna belly I got from Urumi. This is my reward for Fuyu.

Youmu: Riku-kun. I know you love your cat, but I think you're spoiling her rotten.

Riku: I do not. This is the first time I've fed her this kind of fish. And Urumi was the one who presented this to me. And I had to something for her as well. Maybe you could hep me with it.

Youmu: You need my help? For what?

Riku: Actually, Urumi has no idea on how much will this tuna cost. So she asked me to send a report on her on what the tuna's flavor is, then she'll decide on the price.

Youmu: Well....this is a rare opportunity....sure, why not.

Riku: Great. Then I'll leave the cutting to you. Been a while since I've seen you cut fish.

Youmu: True. Let's make sure that I haven't gone rusty.

Me and Youmu head for the kitchen while Fuyu was following us, as we were bout to taste the very rare Red Fin Tuna.

A few hours later....

Riku's Room

9:30 P.M.

After eating the tuna that Urumi had given us, we returned to our rooms. I'm in my room, finishing my report on the flavor profile of Red Fin Tuna. The predominant flavor is sweet and delicious, and the texture of the fish virtually melts in your mouth, similar to a steak still dripping with fluids. I emailed the information to Urumi and then looked at Fuyu, who was lying down on her bed. She felt very excited after eating the fish and ran around the room for a while till he exhausted all of her energy.

Homura is also here, and he wanted to spend time with me. The big guy also tried the tuna, and the results on Homura were diametrically different from Fuyu. When Homura ate a piece of the fish, he felt more calm, which can be seen positively.

And speaking of Homura, when I got back from Fukushima, Mafuyu seemed to be getting along with Homura. I guess my advice really worked in more ways than one. As for her friends, they got used to him with the exception of Kanade, who is still scared of him.....just a bit.

As I was relaxing myself before I go to bed, grandfather entered my room.

Kyoya: You're about to sleep?

Riku: Just relaxing....what brings you here?

Kyoya: I just want to have some time with my grandson that's all.

Grandfather took a chair and put it in front of the table and took a seat.

Kyoya: So, are you getting nervous for this weekend?

Riku: I'm good. It's Rinko I'm worried about. She's been spacin' out the whole day.

Kyoya: The nerves must be getting on her. It can't be helped.

Riku: Kaguya had an idea on what you're planning. And she just laughed her heart out after figuring it out.

Kyoya: So she figured it out? Impressive coming from her. Before I forget, this came in a little while ago.

Grandfather took out a folder and gave it to me. And as I opened the folder, it's a profile of all Totsuki's freshman students and their progress throughout the first semester.

Kyoya: Sanzaemon wants your final opinion on who qualifies for the Autumn Elections. The Elite Ten have chosen who qualifies. From the remaining freshmen to only 200. You just need to pick the 100 who will truly qualify. You've seen what those students can achieve, and they want your opinion as a third party.

Riku: When will they need this?

Kyoya: Before the end of the June. And you have to deliver it yourself at the school itself once you're done.

Riku: Alright. I'll take a look at this later.

Kyoya: Don't need to rush. Oh right, as to what you wear for that day, wear whatever is comfortable to you. They want to see what you truly are. That's all I got to say. Good night Riku.

Grandfather left as I was left into thinking on what to wear on that day.

Riku: Whatever makes me comfortable huh? I mean...I already know what I'm planning to wear. But for now, let me take a look on who made the cut?

I checked the files and I see some of the freshmen with potential.....that is if they had the balls to step up. Other than that, I get to see some names that I'm familiar with.

These 14 young cooks piqued my interest the most. Not only do I know some of them, but also how they adjust to the school's demands, particularly Soma. According to Erina, he basically announced that he would get the first seat. A bold statement from someone with a dining background. And, as Erina mentioned, he won a shokugeki in his first week. That's one way to make a statement.

And Soma's boldness does not stop there. Gin-san informed me that he directly challenged THE Shinomiya Koujirou to a shokugeki to keep Tadokoro from being kicked out during their training camp. They initially lost, but after some thought, they decided to call it a tie.

Riku: Grandfather told me that they'll be waiting till the end of June...let's just take it slow.

I closed the folder and I saw my phone on the table vibrating. I picked up the phone and it was a message from Allen. The message he sent basically said that the match between OG and Goonsquad is about to start.

Without hesitating, I clicked the link that Allen sent me and I was right on time. Artem and the boys are heading on stage as the Summer Tour of the PBC is in full swing.

Riku: Good luck boys.

Several Days Later...

Shirokane Residence - Rinko's Room

June 12, 2021 - 8:30 A.M.

Rinko POV

The days have gone by and nothing out of the ordinary happened. Though practice was harder than the last, it bore results. And we have more days off than normal.

Today is the day...Riku is gonna meet his fiance...and I don't know what to wear for this day....but Riku told me a few days go.....

Flashback (3 days before the day.....it'll be set at night...)

NFO - Sigh Canyon

Me and Riku are logged in at NFO as I asked Riku to help me in search of a rare item in the Sigh Canyon, one of NFO's most dangerous dungeons. Steep ledges and very limited places to move, and most monsters that appear are flying-types.

OG.Iku: Are you sure that you would find it here?

OG.Rin-Rin: I'm sure of it. I asked in one of the forums that the if you defeat the Harpy High Queen at night, there is a 50% chance that we will get the [High Queen's Talon].

OG.Iku: And you're looking for this because?

OG.Rin-Rin: Well, I was trying some ways to enhance my [Octarine Staff] even further, and I looked at the materials, I only needed the talon. The rest, I have them in my storage.

OG.Iku: Normally you would invite Ako-chan in this one.

OG.Rin-Rin: I would, but she has some unfinished homework and Tomoe-san is keeping an eye on her. And for the item to drop, it must be at least a 2 player party.

OG.Iku: Understandable.....Rinko.....get ready.

At Riku's signal, we both hear a loud flap coming from the east. The flapping grew louder as we lurked behind the rocks, waiting for our target to perch. A big red harpy emerged, with long hair and dark red wings; her talons were longer and sharper than most harpies'. When the harpy queen perched, we scanned it to ensure it was our target.

[Harpuia the Harpy High Queen]

OG.Rin-Rin: That's our target. Riku, like we planned.

OG.Iku: Yeah, leave the front to me. Just focus on your spells and we're good.

Both of us nodded as we jumped out of the rocks and attacked the harpy queen before she even gets the chance to retaliate.

One bird hunt later...

The fight was fairly easy. I thought that we would have a difficult time since it's just the two of us. But luck was on our side as the chance buffs that Riku has with his set always seem to activate. Regardless, we got the talon and I can't wait to enhance my staff.

OG.Iku: So you got what you needed.

OG.Rin-Rin: I did. Thank you for helping me getting this Riku.

OG.Iku: Don't mention it. well, gotta go. We have school tomorrow.

OG.Rin-Rin: Yeah....

OG.Iku: Oh right. Grandfather told me this a few days ago. He told me that we could wear what makes us comfortable on that day.

OG.Rin-Rin: Eh? What do you mean by-

[OG.Iku has logged out]

He left me.....what did he mean by that?

End of flashback

Rinko(mumbling): Whatever makes me comfortable....I think I know what to wear.

I chose to wear my usual clothes, even though I use them all the time. These clothes represents me. I finish dressing and proceed downstairs, where my parents are waiting for me.

My parents always back me when it comes to Riku. However, when I informed them about Riku's current situation, they began to have second thoughts. I know I've been asking too much of them, but.....in the end, both of them consented to accompany me because they want to stay by my side till the end.

Yuto: Rinko. So that's what you decide to wear.

Satomii: If that's what you want to wear, then it's fine.

Rinko: Thank you...mom, dad.

(A/N: No info for the name of Rinko's parents. So I'll be using Yuto for her father, and Satomi for her mother. And I named her mother after Rinko's first Seiyuu.)

Yuto: So, are you nervous?

Rinko: I am....

Satomi: Don't worry dear, we're here for you okay?

Rinko: Thanks.....

Yuto: Well, I'll get the car ready.

Rinko: Dad you don't need to do that. The truth is, Riku will be picking us up.

Mom and dad raised a brow when I said that Riku will pick us up. And right on time, we heard something from the outside. Dad opened the door and we see a limousine outside of our home.

Aizawa: Good morning Shirokane family. I am Aizawa, I am here on behalf of Riku-sama to pick you up.

Yuto: I-Is that so....alright, we'll be there in a moment.

Dad told us that a man named Aizawa-san came to pick us up on behalf of Riku. I told dad that it's okay to trust him. We got out of the house and entered the limo.

???: Wahhhh!!!!!

We heard some noises from the bushes, and it was Ako-chan and the rest of Roselia.

Rinko: Ako-chan!? Imai-san!? Hikawa-san!? And Yukina-san!?

Lisa: Ahahaha~ Busted~

Ako: G-Get off of me!

Imai-san and the other got up and helped Ako-chan get up.

Rinko: What are you girls doing here?

Ako: We were worried about you Rin-Rin!

Rinko: You're...worried about me?

Sayo: Shirokane-san, for the past days this week, you've been spacing out more often. Me and Riku-san have to call you out several times to get your attention. Though you don't space out like that in practice....it still worries us.

Yukina: We're your friends Rinko. If something's on your mind, don't hesitate to tell us.

Lisa: Yukina's right Rinko. I mean Yukina has been panicking on what to do to help you.

Yukina: Lisa! I told you not to say that to anyone!

So they're worried about me to this extent even Yukina-san wanted to help me.....I feel bad for not telling them. I want to tell them but...as I think of a way to tell my friends about everything, I looked at Aizawa-san and it got me thinking.

Rinko: Aizawa-san, where are we headed once we leave?

Aizawa: We will head to the Hakugyokurou.

Yuto: Isn't that the Saigyouji's?

Aizawa: Indeed it is Yuto-sama. The meeting is set up there as planned by Kyoya-sama and Yuyuko-sama.

Rinko: Aizawa-san, can I bring my friends with me?

Yukina-san and the others looked at me as they were surprised that I want to bring them with me. Aizawa-san chuckled as if he predicted that this would happen.

Aizawa: Of course they can come. In fact, Riku-sama and Kyoya-sama anticipated this.

Lisa: They did? Talk about creepy...

Aizawa: Consider yourself lucky that Riku-sama isn't here. Riku-sama would never let that slide. Anyway, get inside. Riku-sama and the others are expecting you to arrive in an hour by now.

To Aizawa-san's words, we get in the limo and once we all got inside, Aizawa-san began to drive as we make our way to the Hakugyokurou.

Several minutes later....

Several minutes have passed since me, my parents and the rest of Roselia left the house. As we wait till we reach our destination, Imai-san asked me why I was out of myself in the first place.

Lisa: Since we got time in our hands, Rinko. What's been going on your mind for the past few days?

Rinko: I was planning to tell you this later but....

Aizawa heard the conversation and opened the window that separates the driver and passenger.

Aizawa: You can tell them Rinko-sama. I'm sure Riku-sama will understand.

Rinko: Is that so....okay....I'll tell you.....but promise me that whatever I say doesn't leave this limo.

Sayo: Is it that serious?

I only nodded as they understood what I meant. I took a deep breath and I noticed that mom and dad put their hands on my shoulders, giving me a moral support.

Rinko: Alright....here's what happened.

One explanation later....

9:00 A.M.

Rinko: And that's all of it.....that's the reason why I can't tell you girls about it....I'm sorry.

Lisa: Don't be! Now we understand.....man Riku really can't catch a break can he?

Sayo: No wonder you're spacing out.....

Ako: So you're gonna meet Riku-nii's fiance?

Yukina: But why would they invite you in the first place?

Rinko: Riku said that all will be revealed at the meetup.....I don't know what it is, but I trust Riku about this...

Aizawa: You most likely right Rinko-sama. At this meetup, you will be involved in one of the most important events that will happen in this country.

Satomi: But why would my daughter get involved in this?

Aizawa: I may be out of line for this, but the moment Rinko-sama acquainted herself with Riku-sama, her fate is already decided.

The atmosphere darkened a bit, but Aizawa-san didn't mean it in a negative way.

Aizawa: Don't get me wrong, I meant it in a good way. Look alive people, we're here at the Hakugyokurou.

We looked through the window and we see a huge gate in front of us with the insignia of the Saigyouji family on the center of the gate.

The gate slowly opens, and once it was fully open, Aizawa-san continued driving as we head inside. As we here heading to the Hakugyokurou, the atmosphere felt a bit....cold and Hikawa-san was the first one to notice.

Sayo: Did you all feel that?

Ako: Feel what Sayo-san?

Sayo: It felt cold all of a sudden.....it's like we're being watched.

Imai-san began to shiver when Hikawa-san told us that we were being watched, Yukina-san looked through the window and no one was watching us.

Yukina: No one is outside....unless....

Lisa: YUKINA!!!!

Imai-san began to cling onto Yukina-san as she was getting scared. My parents on the other hand were not fazed by it as they just sat casually.

Aizawa: You have nothing to worry about. Yuyuko-sama or Youmu-sama will explain things once we arrive.

Aizawa-san assured that nothing bad will happen and continued driving. After a few minutes, we stopped by a huge hill and on that hill, were a very long staircase.

Aizawa: This is our stop.

Sayo: Eh? This is our stop? I thought you would take us there.

Aizawa: I did. The Hakugyokurou is up those steps.

Roselia: EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?

Ako: We're going there on that?!

Lisa: Isn't there an easier way?

Aizawa: There is. But for those who come to this place for the first time, it is a necessity to climb up those steps.

Sayo: What is this, an initiation or something?

Aizawa: Yes. Now I must leave. I have to pick up Riku-sama's fiance and family as I have to go as scheduled.

Aizawa returned to his limo and left us. Me and the girls were just staring at the staircase as we looked up.

Yukina: Guess we have no other choice. Rinko, knowing that you lack the physique, can you climb this?

Rinko: I have to....

Yuto: Don't worry, me and my wife will help her.

Satomi: If you girls want to go ahead, then go. We'll catch up.

Lisa: Are you sure it's okay Rinko?

I only nodded as the girls start to climb the staircase. Me and my parents are still here sa they make sure that I was ready.

Satomi: Are you ready dear?

Rinko: I am....let's go. Riku is waiting there.

Hakugyokurou Hilltop

9:30 A.M.

3rd POV

After several minutes of climbing at least 1,000 steps towards the top, Yukina, Ako, Lisa and Sayo have reached the top looking exhausted.

Lisa: Finally...we made it.....

Sayo: That...was...exhausting.....Minato-san, are you okay?

Yukina: I...I'm okay. What about Rinko and her parents?

Ako: There they are!

Ako found Rinko and her parents, it seems that they are at least 200 steps more, as they took a slow approach on climbing.

Sayo: So we got to wait for them a bit. Let's use this chance to rest for a bit. After that we-

Sayo stopped her sentence as she sees a beautiful view of cherry blossom trees in full bloom. The other girls saw it as well and they were mesmerized by its beauty.

Lisa: It's so...beautiful.

Youmu: Why thank you, Lisa-san.

They looked at their right and they see Youmu with her swords on her back.

Sayo: Konpaku-san. You were here the whole time?

Youmu: Nope. I just got here?

Sayo: I see.....wait. Why are there cherry blossoms in full bloom in June?

Youmu: It's all thanks to the Saigyou Ayakashi. It's that big tree over there.

Youmu pointed forward and the girls focused on that direction. Their eyes widened in shock as they see from a distance is a huge cherry blossom tree in full bloom.

Ako: That's huge!!!

Yukina: Incredible....

Rinko: Sorry for the wait!

The girls turned around as Rinko and her parents finally made it, looking a bit tired.

Youmu: You've finally arrived, Rinko-san and family. I am Konpaku Youmu, Yuyuko-sama's aide. But currently, due to some situations, I am Riku-kun's aide for the moment. Now please follow me as I lead you to where they are.

They followed Youmu as they head to the estate. Whilst they're walking, they continue to admire the cherry blossom trees surrounding them.

Yukina: Konpaku-san, if it's not rude to you...what is the Saigyou Ayakashi?

Youmu: The Saigyou Ayakashi is a sacred tree that has been in full bloom ever since the Celestial Families have been in this country. And it has been under the care of the Saigyouji family for generations. Legends say that people that were allured by the tree were given a peaceful death.

The girls froze in place when Youmu dropped a bomb from out of nowhere.

Ako: The tree...kills people?

Youmu: Don't worry, it'll only allure those who are at the end of their days. And since you are still young, you won't be allured by the tree directly, but you can still admire its beauty.

Lisa: That doesn't make it less ominous.

Youmu: Ahahahaha...anyway.....everyone, I welcome you to the Hakugyokurou.

As Youmu bowed, what everyone sees was a pristine white Japanese themed mansion with cherry blossom trees in each corner and at the entrance, there are lavender flowers on each side.

Rinko: So it's the same as the Eientei.

Youmu: Right, Riku-kun told me that you visited Kaguya-sama at the Eientei along with Ako-san. Now follow me.

They followed Youmu as they head inside. It took them a while, but they've finally arrived at the Saigyouji Garden.

Youmu: This is the Saigyouji Garden. This is where Riku-kun and his family are at right now.

Lisa: This is incredible.....

The garden is filled with beautiful flowers and plants. Lisa pulled out her phone and asked Youmu to shoot some photos. Youmu did not mind, so Lisa went her way and began shooting photographs. Sayo took out her phone and shot a few pictures that she might give to Hina later.

Lisa and Sayo began their search for Riku and the others when they completed snapping photos. Because of its size, the garden felt like a maze to Ako, who eventually figured it out.

Ako: Youmu-san. You said that you were the Saigyouji's gardener right? Then that means you've been taking care all of this flowers right?

Youmu: That's right. After learning everything that there is to know about tending to flowers from the Mitake and from Yuuka-san, I've been tending this garden since then.

Yuto: That is some dedication Youmu-kun.

Youmu: Thank you.....it isn't much, but it's honest work. But I didn't do this all on my own though. I had some help and Yuuka-san comes here every now and then to tend the flowers while I'm gone.

Sayo: Who is Yuuka-san?

Satomi: Yuuka....you mean Kazami Yuuka?

Lisa: Oh I know her. She owns one of the best flower shops in the country. It says that the flowers she tend are one of the best quality there is.

Yuyuko: Youmu~

Everyone turned to their left as they see Yuyuko coming to them with a smile on her face.

Youmu: Sorry it took a while Yuyuko-sama.

Yuyuko: It's alright. All that matters is that they arrived at the right time. And I think we haven't met before. I'm Saigyouji Yuyuko. Mistress of the Hakugyokurou and the matriarch of the Saigyouji Family.

Yuto: It's an honor to meet you. I am Shirokane Yuto, and this is my wife.

Satomi: Shirokane Satomi. I want to say, thank you for keeping an eye on my daughter.

Yuyuko: Now now, don't need to do that. It's a principal's duty to look over the students after all. And I see that Sayo-chan and the rest of Roselia are here~

Sayo: We were worried about Shirokane-san for the last few days. She's been spacing out and made a few errors during practice.

Yuyuko: I see that you're concerned. But don't worry, all of that will be resolved today. Now come with me, Riku-kun and his family are already waiting for you all.

They all followed Yuyuko as they went to Riku's location, and after a few minutes, they arrived. It's not only Riku; his grandfather and Mafuyu are present as well. Sitting in front of a big table, Riku is wearing headphones and reading something. And they saw that Riku is wearing his OG outfit from the Future World Fes.

Yuyuko: We're here~

Kyoya: Welcome back Yuyuko. Long time no see you two.

Yuto: Long time no see indeed Kyoya-san.

Satomi: Thank you for inviting us here.

Kyoya: No worries, have a seat. You all must be exhausted since you climbed that staircase.

They took a seat just like Kyoya said and Rinko took advantage and sat beside Riku.

Lisa: Did you and your family climbed that as well?

Kyoya: Normally we don't have to it, but Mafuyu is new to the family so she has to do it since it's her first time.

Sayo: Did the climbing tire you out Mafuyu-san?

Mafuyu: Not at all. I just adjusted my breathing as I go, that way I don't get tired so easily. Nii-san, Rinko-san and the others are here.

Mafuyu elbowed Riku lightly and he seemed to budge. He took off his headphones and saw that Rinko and the others were already here.

Riku: Oh, you're here. Sorry, I didn't notice you were here. I was so absorbed with the music that Mafuyu composed.

Yukina: Mafuyu-san composed a song?

Mafuyu: And how was it?

Riku: You did well. Now all that's left are the lyrics. Kanade will be taking care of that right?

Mafuyu: That was the plan. Yukina-san, I want your honest opinion on this.....can you listen to it?

Yukina: I could never refuse such an offer. Very well, but take note that I can be harsh in judging it.

Riku gave the headphones to Yukina and she wore the headphones and started to listen to Mafuyu's music. Riku on the other hand was leaning back on his chair as he let out a tiring sigh.

Rinko: Are you okay Riku?

Riku: No. I had a lot of things going for the past few days. The thing that occupied me the most was helping the other live houses that were chosen to host the TI Group Stage.

Lisa: Oh yeah. I heard that CiRCLE was chosen to host TI. You really had your work cut out.

Riku: I'm getting used to it....just need some rest in between. Though I'm a youkai and have much more stamina than most others, moving around from place to place on a daily basis can tire me out mentally as well.

Everyone flinched when Riku accidentally said that he was a youkai. When Rinko looked at her parents, they were just looking normally as they are.

Rinko: Mom, dad. Are you not surprised that Riku was a youkai?

Satomi: Why could we? I mean we found out that he was a youkai back when he had a sleepover at our house.

Rinko: You did? But why didn't I heard about it?

Yuto: Because he wanted to keep you safe. And from the look on your face, you found out who he really is right?

Lisa: Well, Yuyuko-san was the one who told us everything. But still, Riku is Riku. I mean he won't do anything bad to us right?

Riku: There are some other youkai that gain their power from human fear, but we're here to keep them in line so they won't go overboard. But the majority won't do anything bad...unless you give them a reason to. And most youkai now get their strength by faith and respect. So Yukina, how was it?

The girls of Roselia looked at their leader as Yukina took off the headphones and placed it on the table. Yukina closed her eyes as she gave her opinion on Mafuyu's composition.

Yukina: It was well done. I can already feel the song just by the composition. If I may ask, when will you finish this?

Mafuyu: Hmmmm....If Kanade can finish the lyrics by next week...we can perform this by the beginning of July.

Yukina: I see...I'll be looking forward to it.

Sayo: You seem to be invested on them too much Yukina-san.

Yukina: They have the potential to go far. And I want to see it through.

Riku: Speaking of invested. I heard from Yosuke-san that you girls have a shooting(A/N: Not what you think it is) coming in next month.

Yukina: We did. At first I was frustrated that we had to adhere to their demands but.....when we voiced out our opinions on what to do, they helped us made it better rather than have them force their ideas on us.

When Yukina openly admitted that, Riku could only smile when he saw how much Yukina progressed.

Riku: I told you Yukina, you just need the right people to help you. The people that your father had were not the right ones. You can trust in Red Bull, if they can put OG back on their feet, they can sure as hell do that to you as well.

Yuto: So that's what it is. You see, we received a mail from someone and the letter was all Austrian. It took us a while to understand it with the help of a translator, but what the letter tells us that Red Bull will cover all of Roselia's travel expenses once the next year starts.

Rinko and the girls were beyond shocked to what Rinko's father said. What Yukina and the girls were worrying once they go pro was the travel expenses. But after they hear what Yuto said.

Ako: Now we don't have to worry about the travel costs!

Lisa: That really takes off a load in our shoulders...

Satomi: And that's not all, the letter said is that every time that Roselia qualifies for a tournament that will be held overseas, your VISA's will be handled by them to make sure that you won't have to look for stand-ins.

Rinko: This is good. Now we just have to focus on practicing.....but why would they send the letter to you? Wouldn't it be better if they delivered it to us?

Yuto: I think the reason why they sent the letter to us, is that to make sure that you girls are all okay with everything. You do know how much we worry about you right?

Rinko: R-Right.

Youmu: Yuyuko-sama, I just got word from Aizawa-san. And it appears that they will be delayed for a bit longer.

Yuyuo: A delay? Now that's problematic...what's the problem?

Youmu: Ummmmmm....I think you better want to see this yourselves.....

Youmu took out a tablet and once she opened it, it was a huge traffic jam on the road. And the cause of the traffic was.....

Riku: What in the...

Kyoya: What just happened? Why is there a giant hole on the road?

What they see is a massive hole in front of the road, and the depth of the hole can be considered deep.

Lisa: What just happened?

Sayo: Imagine the casualties....

Yuyuko: Youmu, is there a casualty count?

Youmu: That I don't know. they're still counting the casualties.....if there are any. The Hinanawi are already looking for some clues on what just happened there.

Yuyuko: Then what of Aizawa-kun?

Youmu: Aizawa-san is already looking for an alternative route. He told me that they'll be here right after lunch as they suffered some damage on the limo, it will require some time for repairs.

Kyoya: Hmm.....try to call Megumu and send some of her tengu as an escort.

Yuyuko: You're right. I'll be back in a minute.

Yuyuko stood up from her seat and left the area as she tried to call for Megumu.

Riku: How did this happen? If that hole were to appear there, we should've heard a loud noise at that time. Unless....

Kyoya: Someone must've used magic.

Youmu: If that is the case, then this will be more problematic. Forget getting the tengu's help, we might need to move out ourselves.

Yuyuko: No need for that Youmu.

Yuyuko returned with a smile on her face, they can tell that the call went well.

Riku: How did it go?

Yuyuko: Megumu agreed. But in exchange, the she wants a 20% raise on whoever we hire from her.

Kyoya: And you agreed?

Yuyuko: Why of course. On top of it, we get priority whenever we want to get some certain information. She also stated that Aya and Hatate will be under Riku-kun's care.

Riku: SAY WHAT NOW?!

Rinko: Wait! If you say it like that....

Sayo: That means-

Yuyuko: Aya and Hatate will be living with you now from now on~

Riku facepalmed at Yuyuko's announcement as he is aware that those two are a bit of a pain to handle, especially Aya. Kyoya was just laughing lightly to Riku's misfortune.

Kyoya: Alright then, I'll prepare rooms for those two once we get back. So for now, relax. We still have time, so you young-ins can do what you want.

Yukina: Well if you really mean that, then I would like to have Riku-san's help.

Riku: My help for what?

Yukina: Can you tell me how do you deal with the things you do with Red Bull?.

Meanwhile with Aizawa...

We cut to Aizawa, who is on its way to the Hakugyokurou by an alternate path. Because of the massive hole on the main road, he had to find another route. He is currently halfway there with Riku's fiance and family. The tengu arrived to serve as an escort. Aya and Hatate came along to make sure everything is okay, and they are currently inside the limo.

Aizawa: Thank you for your assistance Aya-dono, Hatate-dono.

S. Aya: Don't sweat it Aizawacchi.

Hatate: Although We serve Riku now, we prioritize Megumu-sama's orders. And her orders are to protect you all. By the estimates of one of the scouts, we'll be able to reach the repair depot in a few minutes, and we'll be able to reach the Hakugyokurou after noon.

???: I see. Then we're safe?

Hatate: For the time being. Don't worry, your protection is guaranteed. What Megumu-sama sent are the best of the best.

???: To think that youkai really exist nano!!!

Hakugyokurou - Main Living Room

Riku POV

A few hours had passed since we discovered that a large hole appeared in the center of Tokyo, which meant that my fiance and her family's arrival had been delayed, leaving us with plenty of free time.

During our time off, Yukina approached me for advise on video filming. Of course, I wanted to help; after all, I had to comply with her father's request.

It was difficult to say it to them because I normally go with the flow and only intervene if something doesn't work. But I offered them the best advice: be aware, try to be open to everything, and don't be hesitant to tell the others when anything goes wrong.

After offering Roselia advise, we had lunch...well, nearly didn't have lunch since Yuyuko-san went a little beyond. Fortunately, there were a few ingredients remaining, so Youmu and I prepared some for the rest while prohibiting Yuyuko from eating any leftovers.

We're in the main living area, waiting for my fiance to come. Because, surprisingly, Aya and Hatate have joined them, and they have informed us that they would be there shortly.

While I'm waiting for them, Marina emailed me an update on the bands who will be performing at CiRCLE. The most of them are new bands, but one in particular struck out to me.

Kessoku Band

That's the bands name...and from what Marina told me, this band only consists of 4 members. They're relatively new and it was created only a few months ago. But something tells me that they'll show us something.

Lisa: What ya doing Riku?

Riku: Marina sent me a report on the bands that will be performing in a few weeks.

Sayo: Already?

Riku: Yup. And this time, Marina is in charge of everything. I'll just be in the sidelines.

Yukina: Is Marina-san capable?

Kyoya: Marina-kun is much more capable.

Riku: Now that you said that, how did you manage to pick up Marina, grandfather?

Kyoya: She was the only one that stood out from the applicants that wanted to be CiRCLE's new manager. Although she no longer plays an instrument anymore, her passion for music is still there. And she is the type that can create a bond with other musicians in both personal and professional way.

Riiku: Is that so....

Youmu: Riku-kun, Kyoya-sama, Yuyuko-sama. They've arrived.

We turned to the entrance and 5 people entered the living room. The one in front was a man in his late 30's with short wavy brown hair, with dark brown eyes, wearing a saturated white suit and pants.

And behind him were 4 girls. All of them were wearing the same thing. White blouse with floral designs with green cuffs, green skirt with a flower pattern on top, and light pink socks.

The first one was a tall girl with gold eyes and long maroon hair that reaches the middle of her back. And she has a pair of headphones around her neck.

The second girl with pale orange eyes, has long platinum blonde hair that reaches above her waist. She appears to have part of her hair tied into twin-tails, which have small bows attached to them.

The third girl has green eyes with short blonde hair, with her bangs being parted in the middle of her forehead.

And the last one was-

Riku: Miyu? Is that you?

Miyu: Riku-san! What a coincidence!

Rinko was getting nervous as to how I knew Miyu, so she asked me when did I met her.

Rinko: Riku...you know her?

Riku: Well, she was at CiRCLE when you had your first ever live.

Rinko: She did?

Miyu: I was at CiRCLE and I watched you play. It was the best experience I've had. I thank the lord for giving the opportunity to watch such performance in person. Oh right, I am Sakurada Miyu. It is a great pleasure to meet you all.

???: Miyu-san, you know this man?

The fairly tall girl asked Miyu and I can see that she has her guard up.

Miyu: Don't worry Haruna-chan. Riku-san can be trusted. He is the owner of CiRCLE after all.

Haruna: I see. My apologies on being a bit tense. I am Kasuga Haruna. I'm Miyu-san's classmate.

The girl named Haruna introduced herself in a very polite way...I can see that she and Sayo will get along smoothly.

Kurumi: If chairwoman introduced herself then so will I. I am Shiratori Kurumi! Pleasure to meet you!

Kurumi introduced herself with a very positive vibe...why am I getting a bad feeling from her?

Miiko: And I'm Takeshita Miiko. Great to meet you nano!

Riku: So you four are Lyrical Lily then?

Haruna: You know us?

Riku: Miyu told me that she's a part of a DJ group. And looking from what you wear...I can tell.

Sena: I'm glad that you get to meet my daughter early, that saves the time. I'm Sakurada Sena, Miyu's father and head of the Sakurada Group. I apologize for my wife for not being here, she couldn't make it here due to a huge conference at Canada. We're here to follow the wishes of my mother.

Hold on...If Miyu's father is here....then....I see....now it makes sense.....

Riku: Miyu...by any chance....you're my fiance?

Miyu answered with a blush on her face while looking down on the floor. The girls on the other hand....

Rinko: Eh?

Sayo: Eh?

Miiko: Eh?

Yuyuko: Ara~

There reaction coming from the girls are one of the same. Youmu was keeping quiet and grandfather was just chuckling. But what we didn't expect is from Haruna.

*THUD*

Haruna fell face first on the floor, and her friends came to her in worry.

Miyu: Haruna-chan!!

Kurumi: Chairwoman collapsed~

Miiko: Guess she couldn't take the truth nano...

Sayo: How are we gonna do with this?

Yuyuko: I have an idea~ I-

Riku: No. I know what you're planning and we're not going with that. For now, we have some important matters to discuss.

Sena: The young Nagae is right. We have a lot of things to deal with.

Kyoya: Very well. Once young Kasuga wakes up, then we'll start.

3rd POV

After a few minutes, Haruna finally woke up. She asked Miyu if Riku was lying that I'm engaged to her, but Miyu didn't sugarcoat it and told her the truth. Haruna was a bit down for a bit, but she collected herself and apologized for her behavior earlier.

Now that Haruna woke up, they can finally begin. Riku seated in the center with grandfather and Mafuyu sitting on his left, while Rinko and and her parents are sitting on his right.

Miyu along with her father and Yuyuko are sitting in front of them with Youmu right behind them.

And lastly, The girls of Roselia and Lyrical Lily are at their sides, listening to the conversation and to act as witnesses.

Riku initially asked whether they were already aware of the existence of youkai. Miyu explained that they discovered the youkai's existence when Aya and Hatate came to their rescue. Riku inquired for their thoughts on it, and Kurumi and Miiko were particularly interested in youkai that pull pranks. Haruna was quite interested about it. It terrified her at first, but she gradually adapted because youkai may live similarly to humans.

The second issue Riku posed was what Miyu's father meant by honoring his mother's wishes. He informed him that his mother and his grandmother had already arranged Riku and Miyu's engagement.

Kyoya went on to say that Riku's grandmother and Miyu's grandmother used to be close friends and treated one other like sisters. They did everything together, even falling in love.

When they married to their respective husbands, they promised that if any of their children or grandchildren were boys or girls, they would be engaged. If not, they will become best friends like them. And it is to ensure that the Nagae and Sakurada's relationship lasts for generations.

Miyu's mother and Riku's mother were born of the Sakurada and Nagae families, respectively, and because they were both girls, they became close friends right away. Which brings us to the present.....

Riku: Since I'm the eldest son of the Nagae and Miyu's the only daughter of the Sakurada.

Sena: Yes. That means you two will uphold your and Miyu's grandmother's wishes. But everything is up to the both of you.

Riku: And you know of the Nagae's current situation?

Sena: We do. If we can finalize this, they won't be able to do any moves.

Riku scratched his head as he considered whether to accept it or not. The girls of Lyrical Lily and Roselia were listening to the conversation, but none of them could say anything because it was so personal. They chatted quietly amongst themselves since they did not want to be interrupted.

Sayo: I kinda understand now.

Lisa: But the question is, will Riku even accept it?

Ako: Then what will happen to Rin-Rin?

Miiko: This is intense nano...

Kurumi: Do you think Miyu-chan will accept it?

Haruna: We have to trust Miyu-san with this.

Yuyuko: Well Riku-kun? What's your answer.

Riku gave it a lot of thought, he took a breath and shared his opinion.

Riku: Before I give you my answer. Tell me the Celestial Family's plan.

The two family heads raised a brow as they looked at Riku.

Kyoya: Riku....

Riku: Grandfather, I know that you said that I should trust you but.....I have to know. Kaguya already had the idea what you're planning. Tell us what the plan is, then I'll give my answer.

Kyoya looked at Yuyuko then she nodded. Kyoya took out his phone and contacted a certain person.

Kyoya: It's me. Yes. We're at the designated place. Riku wants to know. Yes. Everything. Alright.

Yuto: Um....Kyoya-san, who did you just called?

Kyoya: I called someone who is the actual mastermind of the plan. If Riku wants to know, then this person is the one to call.

And at that point, a crimson sliding door appeared out of nowhere, surprising the girls. The door slid open, revealing a woman seated on a stone-like chair with wheels on the back that resembled a wheelchair. She has long blonde hair and bright eyes. She wears a yellow-orange tabard with a constellation design of stars signifying Matara-jin and other associated deities. She is dressed in a green skirt, black boots, and a three-point hat. As the door closed behind her, she lets out a powerful aura. Everyone, with the exception of Riku, Kyoya, Yuyuko, and Youmu, was having difficulty breathing as the door closed behind her..

???: You called me and I answered. So, Young Riku wants to know our plans? Very well, he shall have it.

Mafuyu who was struggling, asked Riku on who the woman is.

Mafuyu: Nii-san...who is she?

Riku: Matara Okina. Leader of the Matara Family and one of the Seven Sages. Okina-sama, kindly tone down your aura, as you can see.

Riku begged Okina to tone down her aura, and she noticed that several of their visitors were already out of breath. Okina exhaled and calmed down. Everyone could finally breathe again when the suffocating atmosphere had dissipated.

Sayo: What was that all about?

Haruna: It was hard to breathe.....it was .....suffocating.

Riku: Okina-sama does that a lot whenever she meets someone new. To see if they had potential to use magic.

Lisa: And what's the result for us then?

Okina: You girls have passed. Normally, when I unleash my aura, normal mortals are knocked unconscious. However, since you've been hanging out with young Riku here, you've developed some resistance to it.

Ako: That means that we can use magic in the future?!

Ako's eyes were beaming with joy when she found out that she can use magic.

Riku: That will depend entirely on you if you're able to use it though. 

Okina: Exactly. It's up to you whether you unlock it or not. But enough of that; Kyoya summoned me here since his grandson was asking about our plans. But I'd want to remind everyone that everything that comes out in this room will not leave this room. Understand?

They only nodded as Okina nodded. A small door opened and she grabbed something from the other side and it was a bunch of papers, and placed it on the table.

Riku took one of the papers and gave it a read. His eyes widened at the topic as he looked at Okina in all seriousness.

Riku: Okina-sama, is this true?

Okina: Everything in that paper is all true. Trust me, all of these papers comes from the Celestial Archives. If you still have doubts, have a look at these.

Okina gave everyone the same copy that Riku has, and once they saw the contents, their eyes widened as well.

Sayo: You're kidding.....

Lisa: Are you for real now?

Haruna: Why didn't we noticed this sooner....

Yukina: Japan's population.....

Ako: Is slowly decreasing....

Yuto: And not just that.....

Satomi: The male population has begun to decrease....

Miiko: And they're only 40% of males...

Kurumi: This is serious...

Okina: That's correct. Over the years, we Matara have kept a watchful eye on practically everything in the nation. And we are concerned about the country's population decrease. Back in the early 2000s, the country's population was at its peak, at least 120 million. However, as time passed, particularly in the beginning of the 2010s, the population began to decline a bit. And the most concerning fact is that the male population has declined significantly. Seven years ago, the male to female ratio was 49 to 51. But now, it's 41 to 59. According to our calculations, Japan's population will fall to just 60 million in 50 years.

After Okina explained the situation, the atmosphere became too heavy.

Sena: Kurumi-kun is right, this is a very serious matter. But why haven't we heard any of this?

Okina: Aside from us, only his majesty and the prime ministers are aware of this. Remember that if news of this spreads, you know what will happen. We've been thinking of ways to avoid the worst-case scenario for years, but as you know, humans are afraid of change and are unwilling to let it happen. But 9 years ago, we Celestial Families devised a plan. Just a few weeks ago, the Imperial Family and the High Government reached an agreement and approved this proposal.

Okina took out tablet and gave it to Riku.

Okina: On that tablet is the plan that we propose for the future.

Riku opened the tablet as he sees what the family heads were planning. Riku didn't noticed, but Rinko was also looking at the tablet. Once both of them saw the contents, their eyes widened and asked Okina if they were alright in the head.

Riku: This is the plan?

Rinko: This might be out of character for me but.....this is goddamn absurd.

The girls of Roselia were shocked to hear Rinko spoke like that. They were wondering what was the plan. Riku gave back the tablet to Okina as she began to explain.

Okina: Absurd as it is, it's the only way we know.

Rinko: But to legalize polygamy....

Roselia(minus Rinko)/Lyrical Lily(minus Miyu): LEGALIZE POLYGAMY?!?!

Yuto: Now I understand why were invited in the first place...

Rinko: You figured it out, dad?

Yuto: A bit, but I need more information from them to understand the bigger picture.

Okina: Me, Kyoya and Yuyuko will explain along the way. If you have questions, just raise your hand. Am I clear?

Riku and the other teens nodded as Okina and the other heads began to clarify the plan.

Kyoya: When Okina proposed the plan, most of us were....asking if she was right in the head.

Okina: And I still take offense in that! Continue.

Okina cut in as they can see that she was salty remembering that moment. Kyoya coughed and continued.

Kyoya: Anyway, Okina told us that she was alright. She gave it some thought and it took her at least 3 weeks to make this plan.

Yuyuko: Okina began to explain what the plan was, and surprisingly, her plan can be considered a very reasonable one.

The girls wanted to ask some questions, so Sayo raised her hand.

Sayo: Pardon if I interrupt. Since you are dead set in legalizing polygamy....would that be a bad thing rather than good? I mean the male populace could use this as an-

Okina raised her hand to stop Sayo from continuing.

Okina: That I am aware of young Sayo. I took a lot of thinking and with some help from my servants, we created several rules in regards to that.

Haruna: You made some rules?

Yuyuko: Of course. Okina, if I may?

Okina: Be my guest.

Yuyuko: Thank you. The initial criteria of this plan is that both male and female participants in a polygamous relationship must have been in relationships that are mutual for at least a year. And if both parties are in a relationship, they must be committed to getting married in the future.

Yukina: So a very clean relationship is needed for it to happen.

Yuyuko: Exactly. The second rule required unanimous approval from the female's side of the family. Take Riku-kun, Miyu-chan, and Rinko-chan as examples. Riku-kun, who is in a relationship with Rinko-chan but is engaged to Miyu-chan, must obtain unanimous consent from Rinko-chan's family. If not, Riku-kun must give up on Rinko-chan completely.

The girls eyes widened as they hear on how strict the rule that Okina made.

Lisa: Then this will give any boy a lot of pressure.

Okina: If you're set in making a harem, then one must be prepared for what's to come. And being honest and true to one's feelings is one of them. Which leads us to the third rule. And this is mainly on the female side.

Yuyuko: The third rule is that there shall be no ranking of females in relationships. That is, simply because you are the first one does not imply that you are the highest priority. All ladies in a relationship with the same guy must be treated equally in order to avoid unneeded conflict.

The girls nodded as they agreed to the rule. If they can follow this very well, then the plan might work.

Yuyuko: And this is the fourth rule. This will be heavily involved the males. In order to have a polygamous relationship...he must have at least a networth of 100 million or more.

Sayo: Eh?

Ako: 100 MILLIION?!

Miiko: That's so much nano!!

Haruna: Kyoya-sama...is it in yen or.....

Kyoya: In US dollars.

Everyone(except the family heads, Miyu and Rinko's parents): EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!?!?!

Lisa: In US dollars?! That is even close to impossible!!

Kyoya: Now ask yourselves this. How can you make a harem of your own if you can't even provide for your girls?

At Kyoya's words, they understood immediately. Yuto nodded as he put the pieces together.

Satomi: So you figured it out dear?

Yuto: I do. It's not just that isn't it Okina-sama, if one has a harem, then one must have the money to provide for his wives. And this goes to show that whoever plans to have a harem, they must be willingly to commit to it.

Okina: Exactly.

Sayo: Wait a second! If that is the case, then those rich old man that has at least 100 million as their networth will take advantage of this new law!

Kurumi: Y-You're right....

The girls began to shake in fear as they imagined that they're getting married by some random rich old man just to have a harem...

Okina: That won't be a problem. Because this law can only be applied to those who were born in the year 2000's. If someone really dared to break the rules I made, then they better prepare because I don't take rule breakers lightly. But there is a leeway though. If a male from outside of a high class family wants to have a harem, his networth must be at least 100 million in Yen. But if it's someone from a high class family, whether a very well known family or not, then their networth must be in US dollars instead of Yen.

Miyu: But the question is, how many wives can a male take in his harem?

Kyoya: Okina introduced a rule allowing males with a networth of 100 million to have two spouses. If he wishes to add another one, his networth must climb by at least $50 million. Then so on and so forth....Okina set a minimum restriction of 5. To sweeten the bargain, the yearly income boost must be obtained legally. Of course, taxes will apply, so they must make do with what they have left.

Rinko: But who will keep an eye on-

Kyoya: His majesty stated that the Celestial Families will take care of everything. Because this is our plan, it is our job to take charge. The Hinanawi, Komeiji, and Matara will be in responsible of conducting the background check. The Nagae, Saigyouji, and Yakumo will handle the financial affairs.

Lisa: You really think of this through.

Kyoya: We did. After presenting the idea to the highest administration and the imperial family. They approved it, and the law will take effect immediately following the Celestial Gathering in August. But, to ensure that the plan is foolproof, we need someone to test the waters.

Riku understood what his grandfather meant and just lets out a sigh.

Riku: That means you want me to be your guinea pig again right?

Okina: Come now Riku. It's not like you get your ass handed to you right?

Kyoya: And besides, this will fulfill your mother's last wish.

Riku: Eh?

Riku and Mafuyu looked at their grandfather in surprise.

Mafuyu: Our mother wised for nii-san to have a harem?

Yuyuko: Well....Miku-chan did say that she wanted Riku-kun to have one while she was still here. But don't misunderstand what she meant, she wanted it for Riku-kun to be happy.

Riku: For.....me?

Okina: I said earlier that I was the one who proposed the plan right? The truth is, I wasn't the one who proposed it...it was your mother who proposed the plan young Riku.

Riku was speechless. He didn't expect that it was his own mother would plan all of this. Riku stared down on the floor as Okina tried to explain to him.

Okina: Young Riku listen. Miku did all of this for your sake. To make sure that you have the happiness that you deserve that they couldn't give you back then. To make sure that....even when your mom and dad ain't here anymore, you still.....

Riku: So mother planned this ahead of time....when did she proposed this?

Okina: 9 years ago.

Riku: It's the same when I left Japan for the first time...so while I was away....

Okina: She did. And she asked me that if someone asked who made this plan, I should get the credit.

Mafuyu: But why? Why would mother discredit herself?

Kyoya: Miku already has a target on her back. anymore than that could get her into more trouble.

Yuyuko: Now you know what the plan is and the reason behind it...Riku-kun, what's your decision.

Riku: After everything that I hear from you, grandfather and Okina-sama...I accept.

Before the girls got a word out from Riku's decision, he continued as he wasn't finished yet.

Riku: But...what about Rinko and Miyu?

Rinko/Miyu: Eh?

Riku: You two, I want to hear your honest answer. Once you make your choice, there'll be no turning back.

Satomi: Riku-kun's right dear. You must be careful on what you decide. But at the same time, make a decision that you won't regret. We'll be on your side no matter what happens.

Rinko's mother looked at her daughter as she gave her words of support. The same thing for Miyu's father.

Sena: Miyu, the decision is yours to make. Whatever happens, I'll support you 100%.

Okina: So what's it gonna be? Will you two accept? Or will you two reject it?

Okina asked the two girls as she leaned back on her wheelchair. Rinko and Miyu looked at their parents then they stared at each other. As if they both understood each other, they gave a light nod and they're ready to give their answer.

Rinko: Riku. I told you when we were at CiRCLE. I truly love you with all of my heart. I want to spend our life together, start a family with you, and grow old together. When I found out you were engaged, my world shattered. However, after hearing what the family heads had to say about the plan, I felt that there was still hope. So, to answer your question, I accept. I do not care if you have two, three, four, or five more wives. I simply want you to remain at my side forever.

Yukina and the rest of Roselia were stunned by Rinko's response. Yukina and Sayo were genuinely happy, and Lisa was also smiling. She wanted to tease Rinko for being so bold, but she decided not to since the moment was not appropriate. And Ako was in tears as she heard her closest friend's answer. They decided long ago that they would help Rinko in her pursuit of Riku, and they will.

Now they turned to Miyu as they wait for her answer. Haruna, Miiko and Kurumi are anxiously waiting for their leader's answer, whether she'll accept the plan or not.

Miyu: Riku-san, I understand that we only met three times. But I can tell you are the gentlest person I have ever met. When I was at CiRCLE that day, watching every band play, I could sense your dedication and hard work for the people that were applauding that night. You're my idol. When I saw you play guitar in Vancouver for the first time, I fell in love with you. You play as if you're conveying a message to everyone. I was moved by it. When I discovered from my father that I was engaged, I thought my fantasy of being with you at my side had faded, but when I found out that my fiance was you, I was overjoyed. It's as if the Lord himself granted me the opportunity to pursue my feelings for you.

Riku: Miyu...

Miyu: However, it was short-lived when I realized you have affections for Rinko-san. I had already decided to move on from you, but my father urged me to hang on, so I did. For days, I held on to these feelings, which led to where we are now. Riku-san, I know you have emotions for Rinko-san, but I'd want to say something in front of you. Riku-san, I love you with all my heart. And as for your question, I accept.

The girls of Lyrical Lily had their jaws dropped at Miyu's confession. Even Miiko and kurumi want to tease Miyu, but can't. Haruna on the other hand couldn't believe it at first, but hearing the pure emotion in Miyu's tone, she accepted it and decided to support her friend.

Riku: Are you sure that's your final decision? Once it's done.

Rinko: You don't need to ask Riku.

Miyu: Rinko-san is right Riku-san. Never need to ask us.

Kyoya: It appears that you three have come to a conclusion. What is the decision of the Shirokane and Sakurada families?

Yuto: We decided to support Rinko's decision from the moment she fell for your grandson. Rinko's a grown woman now. Her decision is hers to make.

Sena: Although this is only a promise that my mother-in-law made with the Nagae's former matriarch, I still prioritize my daughter's feelings. If this is her choice, then I will approve of it.

Yuyuko: I guess we can make it official now right?

Kyoya stood up from the sofa as he declared Riku, Rinko and Miyu's engagement official.

Kyoya: Hm...Then let this become official. I, Nagae Kyoya, Saigyouji Yuyuko and Matara Okina, fellow heads of the Celestial Families shall become the main witnesses to the engagement of my grandson, Nagae Riku. With Shirokane Rinko and Sakurada Miyu. And to everyone else present, shall become witnesses to this event.

Miyu left her father's side as she went to Riku. Riku and Rinko followed as they meet with Miyu. The pink haired girl held Riku's hands gently as she looked at her fiance.

Miyu: I know that you and Rinko-san met way back and the rule stated that we should have a mutual relationship for at least a year. So please...let's take this time to get to know each other.

Riku: Hm. Let's get to know each other from now on, Miyu.

Rinko: I want to know you more, Miyu-chan. If that's alright with you.

Miyu: Of course it's okay!

As the three were talking to each other, Rinko and Miyu's friends came along to congratulate them.

Ako: Congratulations Riku-nii! Rin-Rin!

Ako hugged Rinko from behind as she congratulated them with a smile on her face.

Lisa: Congrats on the engagement you two!

Lisa congratulated them as she pat Rinko in the back.

Sayo: Shirokane- no...Rinko, Riku-san. Allow me to congratulate on your engagement.

Sayo congratulated the two and called Rinko by her first name rather than her family name.

Yukina: Congratulations to the two of you. Riku-san. I expect you to take care of Rinko. She is after all, a part of Roselia.

Yukina congratulated them and she gave Riku a reminder to take care of Rinko.

Riku: You don't have to say it Yukina. I'll protect Rinko if it's the last thing I do.

Rinko: Riku....

Meanwhile on Miyu's side, her friends came to her and gave their congratulations.

Miyu: Haruna-chan, Miiko-chan, Kurumi-chan. I-

Haruna: Don't say a word Miyu-san. It's your choice. And for that, I congratulate you for your engagement with Riku-san.

Kurumi: Wow, chairwoman took it very easy.

Miiko: I thought that she would lash out at Miyu-chan's choice.

Haruna: Shut up you two. As much as I don't want to admit it, but yes. I was this close to lash out at Miyu-san. But I chose to be a better person and accept it. And as her friend, I will support her. Isn't that what Lyrical Lily is supposed to be?

Miyu, Miiko and Kurumi smiled at Haruna and the four of them went for a group hug.

Riku: Now that is all resolved, what's the next step?

Kyoya: Hmmmmm.....for this one, I need the parent's consent.

Yuto: Our consent?

Sena: Ah, it's about that one right?

Kyoya: Hm. Now that your daughters are engaged to my grandson, in accordance to the Nagae Family tradition, Shirokane Rinko and Sakurada Miyu has to move in to the Nagae Estate.

Rinko: Eh?! Move in to Riku's?!

Miyu: Then I'll-

Sena: Yes. That means you have to move out of our home dear.

Haruna: Then what about school? If I remember, Arisugawa is far from the Nagae Estate?

Riku: I have a car. I can drive Miyu to her school before I go to mine.

Kurumi: Then what about the headmistress? If she finds out that she's in-

Sena: We talked it out with the headmistress days before this meeting. Miyu can continue to go there as long as she doesn't go over the line. Hugs and kisses are fine, but anything beyond that.....

Riku: Ah....so that kind of rule. I think we can follow that.

Okina: Now that is all settled, I'll be sending a report to his majesty later. I'll also inform the other family heads and some several people as well regarding the engagement.

Yuyuko: And to you girls, I want you all to keep quiet about this. But it's alright to tell this to the ones you fully trust. Understood?

Roselia/Lyrical Lily: Hai!!!

Yuyuko: Now that's all said and done, we have some free time in our hands till dinner. Until then, you can do whatever you want~

Riku: Since we have some time to spare...Miyu, I have a favor to ask.

Miyu: A favor?

Riku: You told me that you girls are a DJ group right? How about you show us what you can do?

Yukina: An interesting thing to ask Riku-san. I too want to see what they're capable of.

Lyrical Lily looked at each other and all of them nodded to Riku's request.

Miyu: Since you asked nicely, then sure. Haruna-chan, Miiko-chan, Kurumi-chan! Let's show what Lyrical Lily can do!

Haruna: We can take this as an advantage to get some pointers from them. Let's show them what we're made of!

Miiko: And to perform in front of a TI legend, this is getting exciting nano!!

Kurumi: But where can we perform though?

Youmu: There is a music studio here. I can take you there if you like.

Riku: Thanks for that one Youmu. Let's go.

Riku and the girls followed Youmu to where the studio is while leaving the adults in the living room.

Kyoya: Now that they're gone.....there is something that needs to be told without them here.

Sena: What's this about Kyoya-san?

Later....

Hakugyokurou - Guest Room(Riku's Room)

8:30 P.M.

Riku POV

The engagement was successful, therefore I'm now engaged to both Rinko and Miyu. Something I didn't expect, yet it happened nonetheless. After I made my engagement official, we went to the studio to check what Miyu's group was capable of.

Miyu is the lead vocalist, Miiko provides backup vocals, Haruna is the DJ, and Kurumi is the VJ. I shall be a Cat is the song that they picked to sing to us, which raised mine and Roselia's brows as we glanced at Yukina, who was in a trance as Miyu and her group began performing, up to the point when Yukina began to do cat movements and say nyaa.

Yukina seemed embarrassed after their performance and wanted to go home. However, Lisa had to make things worse by filming Yukina's experience. So Lisa had some power over her.

Miyu's songs are pleasant to listen to, yet a second listening reveals several hidden secrets inside this song. To be honest, this is a little clever. After Lyrical Lily's performance, Miyu asked Yukina if they could display what Roselia could accomplish, and Yukina said yes without hesitation. Fortunately, they had some instruments to use, so they started to work. They sang Brave Jewel, and I saw that they had improved.

After that, we had dinner, but Okina-sama had to depart early since she needed to report to His Majesty right away. After dinner, Yuyuko-san invited us to spend the night, which we accepted.

I'm at one of the guest rooms right now. And coincidentally, my room is between Rinko and Miyu's. As for the other girls, we called their families if it was fine for them to stay the night and they agreed, as long as they're safe.

I brought my laptop with me, as I try to finish the song that's been bugging me for the past few days. As for the name, I already have an idea.

*knock* *knock*

I stopped my work as I heard knocking on the door. I got up from my seat and opened the door and it was Miyu and Rinko.

Riku: What brings you here you two?

Rinko: Well, if it's alright with you, can we hang out in your room a little bit?

Miyu: We can use this as we spend our time with just us three.

I agreed to Miyu's words and welcomed them to the room. both of them took a seat on my bed while I returned to my seat, as I finish my work.

Rinko: Riku, even though you're not at the estate, you still bury yourself with work.

Miyu: Was it that bad?

Rinko: Riku nearly collapsed due to overworking last month.

Miyu: That is bad Riku-san. You must take care of your health. Remember, there are a lot of people who are important to you.

Riku: I know. Rinko gave me a piece of her mind so I'm all good. And I'm getting a lot of rest as of late. But I'm not working right now, I'm just finishing the lyrics on a certain song.

Both Miyu and Rinko raised their brows as they get close to me.

Rinko: You're writing a song?

Miyu: Are you planning to perform this?

Riku: I don't know actually. Girls, I'm about to tell you a secret. Just promise me that you will not tell anyone.

The girls looked at me for a second, then they looked at each other and nodded.

Riku: Good. The reason why I'm writing this song, is because I've been getting these dreams.

Miyu: Dreams? Dreams of what?

Riku: I don't know how to put it. I think I just need to show you one of the songs that I've already finished.

I opened the folder and showed RInko and Miyu one of the songs as I turned around the laptop for them to see.

Miyu: The Heat of my Fingertips?

Rinko: Is that...Remilia-san?

Riku: Yeah. For years, I've been getting these dreams about Remi and the other girls. At first, I tried to ignore it, but the dreams kept coming back. when I decided to write it in a form of a song, the dreams stopped coming....only for it to come back a few days later. Only this time, a different girl appeared.

Rinko: Do those dreams do anything bad to you?

Riku: No. I had it checked out with Doremy-san. She said that it ain't doing me harm.

Rinko: Doremy-san?

Riku: She's a Baku that can manipulate dreams.

Miyu: How many of these song have you written so far?

Riku: Right now? I've finished 13, some of them has no music yet as I'm working on it. I'm about to finish the 14th song right now.

Rinko: Have you thought about the title of your song?

Riku: I do. I call it, PHANTOM PAIN.

Meanwhile.....

3rd POV

We cut to Sweden in the Hakugyoku Hotel. In one of those rooms, Nino, Jaffar and Ursula are currently staying. The three managed to leave the Black Fang HQ without getting noticed by Nergal and his minions, and it took them at least 2 weeks to get out without being seen. After that, they've manage to reach the Swedish bode and was escorted by the authorities to the Hotel.

Ursula: It's been 10 days since we've arrived here, and Yakumo Yukari hasn't shown up yet.....I think I made a bad choice....by trusting her.

Ursula bit her nails in frustration as she was looking outside through the window. Yukari hasn't shown up for the past 10 days since they've arrived in Stockholm.

Jaffar: Let's just be thankful to her that she convinced the Swedish government of our arrival. If not, our heads could've rolled over before even stepping in their borders.

Jaffar was leaning on the wall as he was sitting on the floor while holding his daggers.

Nino: Jaffar is right Ursula. We owe it all to Yakumo Yukari, and we could use this spare time to re-stock on our spells. You and I are almost out of spell cards. Jaffar, how's your wound?

Jaffar: It's all okay now. But I still need some time if I want to be in fighting shape.

Ursula: You're right, I'm sorry. I just want to know what to do next.

While the three former Black Fang members wait for their next move, a violet portal appeared and they know who'll come out of it.

Yukari: Sorry it took a while.

Ursula: We've been waiting here for 10 days.

Yukari: I intended to leave you alone for 10 days as a means to rest up. And I can see that the three of you are all well rested.

Jaffar: So, what does the strongest in Gensokyo want with us?

Yukari: This.

Yukari dropped a book(A/N: Dummy thic.....with at least 6 c's.) on the floor with a loud thud. The book cover is black with dark silver edges, the book has a big violet gem indented in the center of the cover, and the language of the book is unreadable. Jaffar stood up as he was very familiar with the book.

Jaffar: How did you get this?! If I remember, Nergal has been keeping this heavily protected.

Yukari: His protections are nothing for my gaps, and the reason why I snagged this from him, is because I felt something very...unsettling in that book.

Jaffar: What do you want to do with it?

Yukari: I want you three to take it to Japan. There, seek out either Motoori Kosuzu or Patchouli Knowledge. They'll be able to figure out what the book really is.

Nino: Can't you figure out yourself?

Yukari: This kind of thing isn't my forte young lady.

Ursula: I know you said that we had to go to Japan but...how are we gonna go? As far as I'm concerned, the three of us are basically runaways.

Yukari: I have it all planned out. For now, you and Nino have to re-stock on their spells. And as for Jaffar, get some rest. Your flight to Japan is in 2 weeks. And you'll not be going alone.

At Yukari's words, the door opened and they saw a very familiar face. It was a man in his mid-30's with long light violet hair wearing a dark blue headband. He's wearing a dark blue shirt covered in a dark violet cloak and he's wearing a pair of light gray pants with brown boots.

Nino: Uncle Legault! You're here!

The man is Legault. An ex-member of the Black Fang formerly known as The Hurricane.

Legault: Hey there little Nino.

Nino rushed to Legault's side as she gave her uncle a hug.

Ursula: If you're here, that means you've heard what happened.

Legault: Yeah. So boss and the brothers are gone now huh?

Ursula: And us three are what's left of the fang....

Nino: Uncle, why are you here with Yakumo Yukari?

Legault: You see, since I left the fang, I've been doing various jobs as a mercenary. Yakumo here is my current client. She said that I have to escort some people to Japan, and I didn't expect that my mission will be you three.

Yukari: Reason why I picked Legault, is because you are very familiar with him. He knows you all inside out, and with the addition to Jaffar if he's fully recovered, you'll be well protected.

Legault: Like my client said earlier, our flight leaves in 2 weeks. So you guys better get ready.

Yukari: Agreed. Once you arrive in Japan, the Hinanawi will accommodate you once you're there.

Ursula: The Hinanawi huh? Are you sure? You do know who killed their eldest daughter right?

Yukari: Don't worry, we already have proof that the fang wasn't involved in Tenshi's death. You were just the scapegoat in all of this.

Nino: Yakumo Yukari, when we make it to Japan....will I get to see Riku again?

Yukari: That depends on him. But I think that he'll be very happy to see you again.

Nino blushed at the thought of seeing Riku again. Ursula and Legault smiled as they are aware that Nino admires Riku. Jaffar on the other hand is very curious about Riku. Wondering if he can beat him in a fight.

Yukari can see Nino's excitement in seeing Riku again. But she got distracted as her phone received a message from Okina.

Yukari: From Okina? What could it be this time?

Yukari opened the message and her eyes widened. She looked at Nino and showed as she covered her mouth with her fan.

Yukari(thoughts): This makes things more interesting ufufufufufu~...
