As I was thinking about how to convince investors to put their money in a film which I would direct and write myself, the door to the apartment opened and in walked a young man, probably 20, with unruly black hair and sharp jawline. When I looked at him closely, I saw that his nose was like mine, and he looked like a mini me minus the handsome part.
"Oh hey brother .I got some food." He said as he put the bag in his hand on the table.
Wait, brother? !
Ohhhh man.
"What are you writing big bro?" He asked as he looked at the script which I was writing. "A movie script which I want to direct." As I said this, his eyes widened.
"You are writing a script for a movie? Can you put me in it?" He asked with pleading eyes. I sighed. The movie I had in mind didn't require him. At least he was not ready to take on such roles. "It's a comedy film. You are built for action films. Not comedy. " Hearing this, he started to fake cry.
But I could see that he was truly hurt. His own brother didn't want to take him in his film. But I was against nepotism. Unless they had talent. Like Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and many more.
Speaking of them, Student of the Year was going to come out soon. Varun and Alia acted in many hit films after that. Whereas Sidharth's films flopped. But after 2016,things were reversed. Varun's bad movie choices lead to people thinking that he had lost his charm, but all he needed was a good movie where he could actually showcase his talent, like Badlapur and October.
Sidharth however, only got a few hit films in 10 years. Because producers were afraid to give him good roles in good movies. So he chose the offers he got from others, like Gentleman or Jabariya Jodi.
I don't want that. I know that both have talents but need good films to show them. But I was not established enough to do that. After some time maybe.
Oh wait, where was I? Ah brother. Wait where did he go? I think he got sad and left. But by the previous owner's memories, he would come back soon as he had a poor sense of direction. Like Zoro. He couldn't go two blocks away and not get lost.
So I left him and started to continue my script. It was a comedy film, which later became a cult classic.
