"Are you…a male or female?"
As soon Kai asked this question, there was now an awkward atmosphere in the garden.
It was not like Kai had asked any disrespectful or weird question. It was just that he had asked such a question in a wrong time.
When they were just about to tell him their situation, he suddenly send throw this question on them making the serious atmosphere before completely gone.
Now everyone in the garden except Kai and Diablo were showing weird expression on their faces, even the maids. They all didn't know how take this question.
As for Diablo, due to his appearance that no one could see what kind of face 'It' was making right now.
But Kai could understand the emotions of Diablo was feeling, It was of…relief.
As the Kai was constructing his body before, he had created special eyes which could allow him to see many things that a normal human eye could not.
Well, even without the eyes a trained person could understand the emotions of the other person through his or her body movement or some kind of aura on them, which of course Kai also knew about.
But this method wouldn't work on Diablo because of 'It's' appearance, so Kai used his special eyes to view the emotion through Diablo's eyes.
Even through there were only some weird dots as eyes on Diablo's shadowy face. He could still saw emotions through those eyes.
Kai literally took the phrase 'eyes are the windows to our soul' to another level. Normal eyes would not had been able to do this, this was only possible due to Kai's specially made eyes.
As for why was Diablo feeling relief about the question, when they were about to start the conversation Diablo was nervous how to explain everything to Kai. And when Diablo remembered the casualties that were made by the Hero and his party.
Diablo began to feel grief for them which couldn't miss through Kai's eyes. And when Diablo heard the question, 'It' was at first confused too but due to this question Diablo suddenly forgot about the grief before.
And the serious atmosphere from before was completely gone, which also contributed in making Diablo relax. Hence Diablo now had a relax and relief feeling.
Diablo didn't know whether this was intentionally or not but Diablo was grateful for this. And there was also something that Diablo noticed.
'He...is looking in to my eyes directly….'
Diablo knew only few people who would talk with 'It' while seeing directly into 'It's' eyes. So because of that Diablo slightly relaxed his guard against the Kai.
Now Diablo was no longer tense and even kind of had a desire to make a friendship with Kai. But before that Diablo answered Kai's question.
[For my gender….honestly even I don't know about It due to my appearance and….I had not awaken my second form yet so….you can see me as a male for now.]
As soon Kai heard his answer, Kai also heard something about a second form. Kai didn't understand what Diablo by It but Kai had a feeling that If he just searched in his Mind Library he could definitely found about It.
But Kai didn't asked or either used his Mind Library, because he wanted to find about it himself and…
'There will be no fun in this If I just know everything so easily, right? For me It would be like telling me every spoiler of a game that I was greatly anticipating about.'
This was also the reason that Kai had sealed most of his knowledge and memories to enjoy this world completely. For Kai all of this was nothing but just a game.
No one could have thought that such an innocent face had hidden such thoughts for their world.
[Can I…ask you a question myself?]
Now It was Diablo who asked Kai. And this made a smile on Kai's face since Kai knew asking such a question mean that other party also wants to know him.
And Kai for some reason also attracted to Diablo like they were made for each other.
"Sure, you can ask me anything you want? I can even tell you some of my secrets too If you want."
As soon Kai said this, Sebastian's ear slightly twitched because he knew that the person sitting in front of him was no ordinary person and since he came from Abyss, there would be lot of knowledge that even he knew about.
The desire for knowledge within began to rise again but he forcibly suppressed them and thought of another question, who was he? Before Sebastian had noticed many things that an ordinary being even a God couldn't do.
But the person did does like It was nothing. He made organs out of nothing inside his body and there was also that he was able to stop Diablo from closing the crack, when they had tried to.
This question was definitely more important for him. Sebastian wanted to convey his thoughts to his King, but he was too late.
[Why are you….not scared of me?]
When Diablo asked this, everyone's face stiffed. Everyone except Kai there knew that Diablo had a complex about his appearance.
And for Kai, he had not thought that Diablo would ask such a question but that didn't mean he was disappointed. Instead Kai wanted to know more about him.
'After all there is almost no one like him.'
Kai had feeling that even If he searched the whole Mind Library he wouldn't find someone like him at all in his memories because no matter who everyone change after possessing huge amount of power.
'Even I couldn't escape from that feeling.'
Maybe a newborn God or other being might had such innocence but after time, they definitely changed. But Kai knew that Diablo in front of him was not some newborn God, but even after that there was such innocence inside him.
Kai wanted to know what did Diablo go through to become like this. But before that he thought to answer the Diablo first.
"For why I am not scared of you…It just because I had seen much more horrifying things and comparing to them…you are like a cute puppy."
When everyone heard this, they each thought what Kai had gone through and the maids who didn't know from where Kai came from. This conversation was only making them more confuse.
