After a while, Maomao emerged in a different outfit.
Dressed in black, loose-fitting sportswear, she appeared even more slender and petite. She steadied herself against the wall, wobbling over.
A faint scent of brown sugar ginger tea wafted into her nostrils, causing Maomao to frown.
"Drink it up," Jian Tianlin picked up the bowl from the table and handed it to her.
"Where did this come from?" Maomao asked, her face pale.
"Had the waiter bring it over, relax, it's not poisoned," Jian Tianlin joked.
Maomao rolled her eyes at him and gulped down the entire bowl of brown sugar ginger tea in a few swallows.
"Take this and go to bed," Jian Tianlin picked up a hot water bottle from the sofa and placed it in her hands.
Maomao looked at the hot water bottle in her hands, her gaze bewildered, "Then where will you sleep?"
"Enough, I'll sleep on the sofa, you hurry off to bed," Jian Tianlin urged as he pushed her, "If you need anything, just call me."
