It wasn't long before she walked out of the bathroom, eyes closed, and made her way back to the bed.
She lay down and pulled the covers over herself.
Something didn't feel right.
Shanshan quickly opened her eyes, sensing a gaze beside her. She swiftly turned her head and, as expected, met the man's black eyes, twinkling with amusement.
Instantly, she sprung up.
"Mu Chen, you, why are you here?"
Mu Chen stood up and sat down at the edge of the bed, "Weren't you looking for me? So here I am."
Shanshan shook her head, but couldn't remember what happened last night.
Damn it.
She had a blackout from drinking.
Annoyance flitted through her eyes as she slapped her head.
"If you can't remember, then stop trying." Mu Chen caught her hand, his fingertips gently smoothing her messy hair.
Shanshan retreated, avoiding his touch.
"Shanshan?" Mu Chen's hand hung in the air, his gaze uncertain as he looked at her.
