"My sister is back," Jian Luo repeated.
Quan Jingwu's heart pounded as if a heavy bomb had been dropped into a pool of still water, and his composure was shattered.
"Where is she?"
"We've just arrived at Shijin Haoting. You should come over now."
"I understand."
After hanging up the phone, Quan Jingwu didn't offer an explanation to the elder Quan or anyone else; he dashed out, his figure vanishing in the blink of an eye.
"Hey, Jingwu!"
Quan Mingxuan rushed to the doorway, only to see the fading outline of a departing car.
The elder Quan and the others put down their chopsticks, and Quan Mingxuan returned inside.
"Axuan, where's Jingwu?" the elder lady Quan asked.
"He drove off," Quan Mingxuan replied as he settled back into his seat.
Quan Yifei murmured in puzzlement, "Why was Third Brother so agitated just now?"
"Could it be news about Jian Qing?" Rhee guessed.
