Jian Luo clicked her tongue, "Yeah, we overthink things, not knowing who it was that saw someone fall into the sea today and immediately jumped in after them, nor who it was that personally carried them back and even applied medicine."
Bai Jue choked and haughtily turned his head, "I was just being righteous."
"Right, righteous, I just never saw you being so righteous with the ladies who used to be around you." Jian Luo teased.
Bai Jue glared at him, rendered speechless by his ribbing.
"Bai Jue, did you do something to piss her off? It feels like she gets angry as soon as she sees you." Jian Luo continued to taunt him.
"I get angry when I see you." Bai Jue replied irritably.
"Bai Jue, if you have feelings for her, then stop messing around, otherwise you'll end up with nowhere to cry when the time comes." Jian Luo earnestly advised.
Bai Jue, "Scram, you brat."
