Zhan Mingyan listened to his familiar tone and that low laughter, her heart aching, "Bai Jue, if you're busy, you can leave first. I'm not in any serious condition, I can stay here by myself."
The person on the other end of the phone must have a close relationship with him, knowing even the code for his front door. If that person isn't a friend, they must be a good confidante.
Bai Jue looked at her, his gaze slightly hesitating.
"Bai Jue, why do I hear a woman speaking on your end? Am I interrupting something?" Jian Luo teased noticing a woman's voice on the phone.
"Yes, so you shouldn't come to my place." Bai Jue's gaze dropped, in his usual irreverent tone.
"Absolutely not. I dumped Black Jack and snuck over here. You cannot clue him in." Jian Luo retorted.
Bai Jue said, "Well, then go wait at my place, I'll order late-night snacks for you."
"Thanks."
